Okay, let's get started.

"Take Me or Leave Me" from RENT. I can imagine all the non-shippers squirming at "...every night who's in your bed?" But the song's so fun anyone can love it.

"Light My Candle" from RENT. As above with "the wax".

"My World" by Avril Lavigne.

"Cruella De Ville" for Nicole. The fact that they call her Goren's "arch-nemesis" makes her seem all the more cartoony.
Jryan
Don't know the name of the song, but in Privilege, When Goren and Eames are talking to the Dance Teacher son, that song those dancers were dancing too, I swear I hear it in walmart ever time I am in there, Just the end of the song.
ElphabaAlexandra
Wouldn't know about that, sorry (don't like Walmart).

Also "La Vie Boheme" from RENT
"Bohemian Rhapsody".
Bubba_Bridges
Hi Bubba here, I have one ...

"Somebody's Watching Me"

tobo86
Watching the Detectives- Elvis Costello.

Rock You Baby, by Toby Keith, but that's pretty much for Robert only..
DefenderOfMen
I don't know why but I always think of "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne when I see a Nicole eppy.

That, and Rich Girl by Hall & Oates
krodgers
Landslide: Stevie Nicks
ElphabaAlexandra
"Lifestyles of The Rich and Famous" by Good Charlotte.
"Tango: Maureen" from RENT and "B*tch" by Meredith Brooks for the Nicole eppys.

I'm listening to that right now. Now, I'm thinking of Albatross.
krodgers
Another good one by Queen, You're my best Friend. Maybe that song would be good for Bobby and Alex?

I like that song anyway and thinks it pertains to any good friendship. I would give it a thumbs up for Alex and Bobby.

Only the Good Die Young-Billy Joel (For Mikey)
krodgers
I think the song Mellisa Etheridge wrote, "Sleep while I drive", is a good song. Trisha Yearwood ended up recording that song country style, and made it a hit. Listen to it, it's has alot of meaning to it, IMO. K

From vids on Youtube and songs heard on the radio that just "sound" like CI:

You May Be Right (I may be crazy :-) by Billy Joel - for Bobby

Mad World by Gary Jules (?)

I Never Cry by Alice Cooper - warning: shippy. :-)

Here by Me by Three Doors Down

Six Feet from the Edge by Creed

Bad Day by Daniel Powter (sp?)

Kryptonite (Three Doors Down?)

REad my Mind (by The Killers?)

Crazy by Gnarls Barkley (sp?) - again, for Bobby :-)

Oh, and for VDO, there's a great vid at youtube to "The Boy from New York City". It's hot.

;-)

I made a cd of LOCI-inspiring songs and I have it in my car all the time.

krodgers
"In a New York Minute" the Eagles.
bugtussle47
two songs by Chris Isaak

*Wicked Game*
*baby did a Bad Bad Thing*

*bug*

Someone already said this, but every time I see the commerical with the guy with all the junk running down the street, everything stuck to him, and that song Underpressure playing I think of CI.

Everytime I hear Sexual Healing I think of Bobby. wink.gif
Bubba_Bridges
Hi Bubba here, ...

"Home" - Mindi Abair
ElphabaAlexandra
"Florence Quits" from Chess.
"A Part of That" from The Last Five Years.
"Complainte de la Butte" (did I spell that right?) by Rufus Wainwright from Moulin Rouge!
standardgrade
Robert Goren:

King of Sorrow - Sade

Sample lyrics:
I want to cook you a soup that warms your soul
But nothing would change, nothing would change at all
It's just a day that brings it all about
Just another day and nothing's any good

The DJ's playing the same song
I have so much to do
I have to carry on
I wonder if this grief will ever let me go
I feel like I am the king of sorrow, yeah
The king of sorrow

Goren and Nicole Wallace Flashbacks:

Black Swan - Thom Yorke

Sample Lyrics:
You cannot kick-start a dead horse
You just cross yourself and walk away
I don't care what the future holds
Cause I'm right here and I'm today
With your fingers you can touch me

General CI activity (Goren and Eames getting those baddies):

Eminence Front - The Who

Sample Lyrics:
Drinks flow, people forget
That big wheel spins, the hair thins, people forget, forget they're hiding
The news slows, people forget
The shares crash, hopes are dashed, people forget
Forget they're hiding

[As a quick side note, I think this is a perfect theme song if somehow the PTB decide to create CSI: Detroit. It would be the only CSI I'd watch.]

One more wink.gif

Robert Goren:

The Patient - Tool

Sample Lyrics:
If there were no rewards to reap
No loving embrace to see me through
This tedious path I've chosen here
I certainly would've walked away
By now

Gonna wait it out

And if there were no desire to heal
The damaged and broken met along
This tedious path I've chosen here
I certainly would've walked away
By now

[Someone used this song for a Fanvid dedicated to The Cell, which I thought was perfect.]

Hey, EA, in the bottom left (I think) photo of your sig, the Canadian TV logo makes it look like Goren is wearing an ear ring. ;-)))

Aye, matey!

marrymebobby
Now for something completely inappropriate:
"I Touch Myself" by the Divinyls (but only when Bobby is on the screen)

Now for something that won't make Bubba blush...
"A Friend To Me" by Garth Brooks. This is the song I imagine Bobby would dedicate to his mom.
cluck73
I also love "By Your Side" by Sade...I always think of Bobby when I hear that!

After watching the previous episodes from this season, and viewing the preview pictures from the upcoming Untethered, Dig by Incubus definitely reminds me of Goren and Eames.

I'm sure most of us know the lyrics, but I'd like to present what I believe are the most poignant verses:

We all have a weakness
But some of ours are easy to identify.
Look me in the eye,
and ask for forgiveness.
We'll make a pact to never speak that word again.
Yes, you are my friend.
We all have something that digs at us,
at least we dig each other.
So when weakness turns my ego up
I know you'll count on the me from yesterday.
If I turn into another
dig me up from under what is covering
the better part of me.
DefenderOfMen
Everything by Michael Buble

Especially:

You're a carousel, you're a wishing well,
And you light me up, when you ring my bell.
You're a mystery, you're from outer space,
You're every minute of my everyday.
ElphabaAlexandra
I quite like his version of "The Way You Look Tonight".

"Strangers in the Night" and "New York, New York" by Old Blue Eyes.
"The One and Only" by Chesney Hawks.
"Insensitive". Unfortunately, I don't know the artist's name.
"Angel" by Sarah McClachlan and the song of the same name by Beverly Mitchell.
"Love Heals" from the RENT Soundtrack.
"Try Not to Be Afraid" and "A Kiss is a Terrible Thing to Waste" from Whistle Down the Wind.
"Brave" by Idina Menzel for Alex in Blindspot.
"When You Are Old and Grey" and "She's My Girl" by Tom Lehrer.
"Over the Moon" and "We're Okay" from RENT.
"Schadenfreude" from "Avenue Q"
"Dirty Little Secret" by The All-American Rejects.
"I Can Hear the Bells" from Hairspray

Elphaba, are you a musical fan? smile.gif

Had to think about "Die unstillbare Gier" from Dance of the vampires (think the English version is called "Endless Appetite"). There´s this line saying

"I long to fly in total freedom and yet these chains keep dragging me down"

and although the rest of the lyrics don´t really fit, somehow it reminds me of Bobby...weird, I know, but I like it rolleyes.gif
