Full Version: Henry's Hat

Henry occasionally wears a somewhat tattered-looking hat. It's a faded green-gray baseball-style hat with red lettering on the front. I was wondering if anyone knows what the hat says?

He wore this hat while arguing with Shawn in the kitchen in the Cloudy, Chance of Murder episode, and also when he visited the Psych office in the Poker episode. I know he's worn it quite a few other times, but those are the two specific times I remember seeing it.

Anyway, I can't figure out what the hat says! I've paused the DVD & examined the hat from every available angle, but my TV screen is rather small. Also, something about the color combination & the blurriness from my "pause" makes it difficult for me to decipher.

I know it's not particularly important (or even interesting...) in the grand scheme of things, but I tend to obsess about the little things!

Thanks for any help!

Hi Bubba here, is this the hat you are talking about?

I can't make out what it says either. All I can make out is "Good". Wish I could help more. smile.gif

Yes, thank you!
Those pictures are so much clearer than what I could get paused on my TV screen. And the hat is more tattered than I thought...it's actually is so worn that it's hard to read...I'm glad to know it's not that my eyes are going bad!

Looking at these pictures, I think maybe it says:

GOOD SURFING
GOOD LIFE

If the 'F' in "SURFING" & the 'I' in "LIFE" are worn almost completely off?

Hmm, I'd always imaged that maybe the hat had the name of a Bait Shop on it. But "Good Surfing, Good Life"....much more interesting. You know, I recall seeing an old surfboard in Henry's garage (maybe when Shawn was building the doghouse in the Spelling Bee episode). Henry is such an enigma! I mean, he doesn't strike me as the surfing type at all, but the evidence is there....

Thank you so much for posting those pictures!
