OMG! Does anyone think Bruce Campbell is wicked sexy or just me? I have enjoyed (thoroughly) seeing him in movies and TV for a long while now. This show is just great! He is an awesome actor and sexy to boot. Forget JD I want more Bruce! He is more handsome now than say 10-20 years ago!
I didn't know he was in Burn Notice until I went by it one night-I nearly fell off the couch! I can't wait to watch the free reruns-I know it won't be enough to hold me over til next summer! wub.gif

I think he is! There are some actors that have aged well and I like them alot better that way and he has made the list. Yummers! wink.gif

Hi Bubba here, my mother likes him.

Agreed!

Humor + Sam = Hot

I thought he looked especially smokin in that dark suit from "Hard Bargain". wink.gif

Thank God I found others like me! LOL No one so far has mentioned anything about him yet. He's aging very well! I do tend to like older guys like William Peterson from CSI and others-And I am under 35 years old!
Lets hope we see LOTS more of Sam in the new season-move over Mike!! LOL wub.gif

I don't know about smokin' hot (I'd reserve that description for Gabrielle Anwar and Lucy Lawless), but Bruce Campbell has been one of my favorite actors since his "Brisco County" days and he's the reason I tuned into this show in the first place. Playing charming rogues (anybody else remember "Jack of All Trades"?) has always been his forte.

Love Bruce Campbell!! wub.gif

Briscoe County Jr. was a neat program and I was disappointed when it was taken off the air. I also enjoyed his guest roles on Xena and Hercules. Those were great shows!

He is a man of many talents!

Funny thing. My brother was watching Tarzan, and I thought I heard Bruce Campbell! I looked it up and I found out he did do a voice for that cartoon. smile.gif

I had never heard of Bruce Campbell til Burn Notice. I did like Billy Campbell when he was on Once and Again with Sela Ward and got the two mixed up only because they both had the same last name and first started with a B. I think Bruce does a great job in rounding out the show. You need different personalities to complement each other. As for being HOT! well, he brings a certain kind of sexiness and yes, he looked HOT in a dark suit too.

Bubba! For some reason, that statement makes me feel very, very old...

I'll own up to being a big Bruce Campbell fan, ever since Brisco, so you are definitely not alone. However, I missed the beginning of "Hard Bargain", so I missed the black suit. (We taped it, but got back inside during the last 20 minutes -- so saw the ending. For some reason, I didn't watch the beginning of the show that night. My husband watched it later and taped over it before I could see it. "You didn't miss anything," he tells me. Uh, yeah I did!)

I wanted to put this in a separate post, because this is not my opinion at all!

Online magazine Film Threat has released their "The Frigid 50: The Coldest People in Hollywood" -- and Bruce is number 13!

Not my quote, from their web site:
QUOTE (FilmThreat)
13. Bruce Campbell
Bruce Campbell, B-movie hero to millions, is now hawking Old Spice. Is this what everyone who watched Roger Staubach shill for Rolaids or Muhammad Ali pitch Roach Motels felt? That chill in the air has nothing to do with a horde of cameos, bit parts, and voice acting—that chill is Bruce Campbell, coasting on a frozen career.
Anti-Freeze: No cameos, no bit parts, no voice acting, no piss-poor "My Name is Bruce." No video games. No television. He needs to get his metal hand back on and do "Evil Dead 4" already.

Now, come on... Try to put Bruce on a not-so-hot list and then mention doing ED4? What century are these people living in? In fact, there was an online blog where a guy went to visit the BN set and told Bruce, "I have two words for you: Evil Dead." Bruce replied, "And I have two words for you: Old News." (He even mentioned the blog in a recent interview about "My Name is Bruce.")

Can you say "We here at Film Threat think we are more important than we are?"

That was interesting. I followed your link and read the whole thing. I agreed with about half of the list, and certainly not with the listing of Bruce Campbell. You're right. Those dorks are a bit self-important.
