How about a loco LOCI adaptation of this old drinking/storytelling game?
"Goren gazed morosely at the cardboard cup of instant coffee that had been sat on his desk for so long it looked like it was about to file a motion to dismiss. He felt pretty certain that piss-poor coffee was a good reason to file for something .. even if it was as drastic as violation of his human rights. The station-house coffee, in spite of a number of different vendors being tried and tested, remained stultifyingly ghastly.
Not what was needed at 8.00am on a Monday.

I'm not used to being so incoherent, I apologise. Must be something to do with my not being a "native speaker" :rolls:
First person starts off a story. Ends with the word "Unfortunately - " and hands it over to the next person. Like passing a baton in a relay race.
The second person continues the story and ends their chunk with "Fortunately - "
Subsequent tellers end their chunks with Unfortunately or Fortunately, always remembering to alternate so you don't get the same one twice in a row.

The coffee shop close to the One PP had shut down for repairs, so it was either this coffee or no coffee. So he gets up goes to the coffee room, pops open the can, rolls his eyes, " Great!" its empty. Throw the can into the trash, thinks to himself, who in the hell puts a cover back on an empty can of coffee. He looks across the squad room, well thats not a case he wants to work on, especially not without coffee. He goes back to his desk grabs the instant coffee goes back to the coffee room, opens the jar, grabs a spoon, "DAM!" the granules are hard as rock. He tries to chip away a few but to no avail. He tosses it into the garbage. He goes back to his desk slumps in his chair, puts his head into his hands. Then

It was blocked in. Someone had parked there squad car right behind the SUV. "Darn It" said Bobby, " I hate mondays, this day just isn't going my way". Eames looks around and sees a uniformed cop. "Hey, do you know who squad car this is?" He just shrugs his shoulders and keeps on walking. "Great thanks for your help!" snickers Eames." Forunately, Bobby didn't have to wait to long before Ross pulled up and they got in. His day had been going horribly so far and the fact that the seat in front of him was pushed to far back for his comfort, did not make it better. He sipped at his coffee and grimaced as he swallowed it.

During the excitement of the bodies tumbling out of the back of the Coroner's van, some of the uniformed officers had left their posts guarding entrance to the crime scene to see what was going on. This was unfortunate since several teens had taken the breech of security as a sign to go and snoop. Goren limped inside and saw two of the teens who were poking their fingers in the congealed blood pool on the floor.
"HEY!" Goren shouted. The teens stood up straight, startled by the detective's sudden appearance and started to run.

This day was just getting better and better. Now, he had to chase down some punks with his bad knee, which was steadily becoming worse with each step. If he was lucky, he would only have to walk with a limp for the rest of his life.

Eames stepped in before Bobby could stick his foot in his mouth and suggested they take off for lunch. That sounded pretty good to Bobby, who had skipped breakfast in his hurry to get out the door that morning. They walked to the elevators, passing a few more female techs, who passed out at the sight of his muscled arms. Eames shook her head.
"What did I tell you about wearing that thing?"
"What thing," he asked confused.
"That shirt. It always makes people swoon, except for me for some reason," Eames said scratching her head, "I wonder why that is."
"I'll make a note not to wear it again around the office if that will make you happy. But it was the only thing I had in my locker that didn't smell like sewer grease."
Eames opened her mouth to ask why his clothes would smell like sewer grease but quickly changed her mind. She knew she wouldn't be able to hold down lunch if she knew the answer.
A few minutes later, they were inside a diner within walking distance of 1PP. Eames had insisted that they walk since it was such a nice day. Bobby grumbled the whole way, the bandage on his knee rubbing against the inside of his khakis. They were seated at a booth and Bobby opened the menu, trying to decide what he was in the mood for. Bobby knew something didn't seem right. He could feel it, and started tapping his fingers uncontrolably on the table. Eames noticed the gesture, and held herself back from making a snarky comment. She knew Bobby very well, and this was one of those times it was best to keep her opinion to herself. She tried to busy herself looking over her own menu, but then suddenly stopped and looked up. She caught a familiar scent, and knew instantly why Bobby had been acting so jittery and agitated. She put down her menu, gave Bobby a knowing glance, rose from the table, and turned to face...
Nicole Wallace. Blondie was just as Bobby and Eames remembered her, all smiles and buck teeth. And this time Nicole did not disappoint, as she stepped forward and offered both detectives her hand. Fortunately...

All that came up was stomach acids all over Nicole Wallace. Eames had to chuckle. The look on Nicole's face," Geez Bubby, this surely not how I imagined it." Nicole walked out with Bobby's stomach contents all over her shirt. " Are you ok Bobby" Eames said. "Yes and No" Said Bobby. " I am sure Nicole had something to do with those murders, we need to talk to the ME". " Bobby you need to eat something before you pass out" Eames said. "Try some Naprosyn, and if you like I can rewrap it better for you to better support it?" Said Jryan. The piece of metal removed from your knee was part of the knife that killed victim #1. ... Bobby was having problems concentrating. The pain from the injury in his knee, combined with a serious blood-sugar situation developing somewhere in the back rooms of his pancreas, were distracting him from the ME's report. Plus, the phone call from the rabid cyber-fan who insisted on speaking to him as though they were about to be joined in holy matrimony had caught him off guard. Again. The entire day seemed to be one huge surprise party.
With all this going on inside his pretty little tousled head, it took an uncharacteristically long time for the facts of Nicole Wallace's reappearance to coalesce. But when they finally did, Goren lost even the pretence of listening to the ME and stared straight ahead of her instead, mouth slightly open, eyes glazed, respiration up.
"Am I keeping you from something, Goren?" asked the examiner in an arch voice. But she couldn't even finish the question before he was up and out of the door.
"Sperm bank!" he said to himself as he pelted up the corridor towards his desk. He slowed to a walk just before going through the door, trying not to draw attention to himself again. "God no, not the sperm bank ..!"

His Cell phone battery was dead. "Geez, if I didn't have so many girlfriends, calling me all day long, maybe my battery would last longer, I will call Eames when I get to the Sperm bank.". Goren drove to the sperm bank, wondering if Nicole had gone to the sperm bank he had made a contribution to. The last time they had one of their Tit for tats and she made the comment that they were not intented to have kids, he started to wonder if maybe she was right, so he had decided to make a contribution to the Sperm bank. He arrived at the sperm bank and stood at the receptionist desk, the receptionist gave a big smile, and handed him a cup, pointed to the rooms down the hall, and said" There are videos, magazines, and other items for your enjoyment and assistance if needed." Goren Blushed, lowered his head, and said."Uh, I am not here for that today, I need to find out if a certain patient used, uh, my uh, speciem," he was still blushing. " I am sorry sir, that information is confidential, we can't give out that information without a court order." She said. "Can I use your phone?"asked Goren. "Sure" she said.Goren dialed Eames " Eames sorry I ran out on you, but I decided to go to the sperm bank, I, uh, made a deposit a while back, and I think Nicole, might have made a withdrawal, but they won't give me the info without a court order. You still dating that guy in the DA's office? You think he could get us an order?"Goren asked. "Hmmm Nicole might be having BabyBubby? Oh my, Yeah, I will call Matt, and see what he can do, Also, CSU called one of the Victims had a blonde hair in his hand, no roots attached so can't get DNA, but how could a pregnant Nicole move three grown men, especially dead weight.? Also Ross is looking for you he wants an update"said Eames."Ok,I am on my way back, tell him I will be back in about 15 minutes." replied Goren. "Ok, well he knows you were in with ME Jryan with your pants down, so don't come back with Donuts," snarks Eames. "Very Funny Eames." snarls Goren.

it had begun pouring down rain, so Bobby had the idea that he would wait inside for the rain to let up. This would give him the chance to turn on his charms and sweet talk the receptionist into giving him the information he wants while he waits for the warrant. She kept looking at him as if he didn't notice, so he didn't think this would be hard. "I forgot my umbrella, " he said with a smile. "Yeah, its coming down pretty good out there." , she responded brightly. Bobby continued the conversation by asking her about the pictures on her desk and throwing in a compliment here and there along with that irristible smile he knew would get him into anywhere. Finally he persuaded, "You know, my partner is going to be showing up any minute with that warrant. Do you think you could save us some time and show me the records?" "Well," she warned, "I really shouldn't, but what the heck. What is your number?" Bobby gave her his donor number and within a few clicks of the database she was able to give Bobby the bad news. He specimen had been used within the last year. "Oh wait a second," the receptionist said, "This isn't right! No, something's wrong. It says here the woman requested a DNA test to confirm she received the right donor, but it didn't match what we had on file for you!" Unfortunately,

Her boss walked up and said" Whats going on?". The Receptionist was startled, she cleared her computer screen " Nothing, just giving this gentleman some information on our services." "Oh, ok," the boss man said, and walked away. Goren just stood there waiting for the receptionist to finish what she was telling him. She looked over her shoulder, once the boss was gone, she began to speak." Well after you made your, uh, deposit, we had a electrical malfunction, and lost all our specimens. So all the file and numbers got deleted. The numbers were reused with new donors, so when this woman came in with the donor number we pulled the specimen, but your number was no longer valid, it had been given to a new donor." Goren breathed a sigh of relief. "I know you shouldn't tell me, but can you tell me the name of the woman, and the donor? It's really important, I am investigating the murder of three people." Goren pleaded. The receptionist, sighed, looked into those big brown eyes."I could lose my job for this, just a second, the woman's name is Nicole Wallace and the man's name is Logan, Micheal." Goren put his hand to his mouth, what are the chances of that. "Did the woman know the name of the Donor?" asked Goren. " No I told her the names were confidential." she said. " Thank you so much" Goren said. Goren walked out the sun was suddenly shinning, his appetite was back. He figured he would get something to eat. Right next door was a Krispy Creme shop. " Give me two dozen mixed" Goren said. He hopped in the SUV, drove to One PP. He was happy, but what was he gunna tell Logan. He got in the elevator hit the button for the 11th floor and began munching on a donut. Dam this is good he thought. The door opened Fortunately.........

Fortunately the sugar rush helped clear Goren's head, and he made the decision to keep his information to himself.
He figured that Wallace would have hacked the computer records of the Sperm Bank to try and discover whether or not he, Goren, had made a deposit. Wallace had proved herself very adept at finding out all sorts of information about him in the past, so why should she behave any differently now? It was obviously part of a much bigger plan to find new and exotic ways to tangle his emotions - confused as they already were - about the woman.
She was a murderer and a psychopath. Not very good material for a long-standing romantic involvement. Bobby's rational mind was acutely aware of that, but still he felt irresistibly drawn towards her huge (boobs, teeth) intellect. He might even flatter himself that she felt the same way. Had their lives been different - VERY different, who knows what they might have achieved together?
So now Nicole Wallace was plotting his downfall once again, but this time with the added leverage of carrying "his" baby. Bobby was the only one who knew the truth; Wallace would have no reason to know that the sperm banks computers had crashed, so would never know that her donor had been changed at the last minute. To Mike Logan, of all people! Goren prided himself on not being a snob normally, but even he turned up his nose at the idea of little Logans running around ... Goren grinned to himself, attracting a curious glance from Eames as she came in, grabbing the last donut from the packet.
"I have been chasing you all over town this morning. Now what's the big mystery? Tell me everything Goren, or I will be yelling the words SPERM BANK at the top of my - "

The elevators were out of order and the trio had to take the stairs. As they jogged down the stairs, Goren tried to keep a few paces in front of Logan, avoiding his eye. Logan increased his speed so he was only a step and a half behind him. Goren sped up to increase the distance again. Logan matched his speed and closed the gap again. So, Goren started to take two steps at a time. Logan did the same. Within a few minutes they were sprinting down the concrete steps, Eames falling further and further behind. Goren lost his footing at a landing in the stairwell and Logan took the opportunity to slam him into the wall. Goren grunted at the impact and shoved Logan off of him, causing him to trip on the stair behind him. Logan jumped up and hit him square on the jaw, to which Goren retorted with an elbow to the gut.
By the time Eames reached the landing, they were in an all-out brawl. Eames knew her size would make it difficult to break up two raging detectives and wondered what her best course of action was.
Fortunately...

Detective Choca returned, and together with Eames, they succeeded in keeping Goren and Logan apart. Goren and Logan continued to glare at one another, at which point Detective Choca turned to Eames and asked, "What's up with these two guys? Why are they so hostile toward one another, trying to do each other harm? I don't get it!" To which Eames replied, "It goes back a couple of years, when Logan had another partner. We dubbed them "Ocean's 2" and they've been at each other's throats since. That's men for you!" Unfortunately...

Bobby's knee ripped open from all the commotion and the pain was so bad he had to sit down and straighten the leg. "Now look what you've done!", he barked at Logan. "Me? I'm sooo sick of your high and mighty ways, Goren! You think you can get away with all your eccentricities because you solve every case, but don't forget it was the chief of D's that called you a whack job!" "Well, it takes one to know one, doesn't it Logan?", Eames said. "Maybe you forgot, three people were murdered today and Goren was pretty seriosuly injured. You need to put your ego to rest and let us do our job!" "No, its no use," Goren sighed. "I can't go anywhere with this knee. I should of seen the ortho like the ME said. You two go, and Eames, remember what I said!" Knowing things had to be pretty bad for Goren to relinquish, Eames reluctantly looked at Logan and said, "C'mon, but I'm driving!" They raced to the garage, leaving Goren to the aid of Det. Choca who helped him get up and get to the dr.'s. When Eames and Logan got to the garage, Logan remarked, "Oh goodie, I actually get to ride in the chariot!" "Shut up, Logan," Eames said. "Just be glad you're coming along!" "Well," Logan chided, "This sure beat the crown vic!" Fortunately,

Both were bleeding from the face and hands. And the fight and led them all the way down to the coroner floor " What the hell happened,I could hear all the commotion in the stairwell, Never mind,I don't wanna know, and don't need to know, !" Jryan demanded. Logan and Goren both stood silent and calmed down. " Now let me take a look at you two and see if any serious damage has been done, then I can get back to the real work." said jryan. Goren said "We have a hostage situation we have to get to ASAP. We don't have.." "Sit down and shut up" Jryan cut him off."This won't take long.I need to make sure the two of you didn't do any serious damage. It will hurt more, but I am sure you won't mind more pain." She checked both their hands no fractures, checked there eyes, no hemorrhages, cleansed the wounds, both of them tried not to make a sound as the antiseptic burned the wounds, she then dressed the wounds."Ok, now you may go," she commanded."Yes Maam," the both said, looking down, like two scolded little boys. "You think you can handle them Det. Eames? Or you need backup" asked Jryan. Eames said laughing"I think I got it, Jryan laughed and went back to work. Logan and Goren started to walk out, Logan said." Dam that Jryan is uh, forceful, kinda hot." Goren said." yeah never saw that side of her before, she kinda cute too." Eames just shook her head, "Men". They got in the SUV and headed to the Sperm bank, when they arrived, the place was surrounded with blue and whites. They walked up to the hostage negotiator.
Eames spoke first."Hi I am Det. Eames, this is Goren and Logan. What has Happen so far."
"Hi I am Det. Curly we have tried to make contact, but no one is responding." But Fortunately.

Det. Cluck said, "I think I got something. A woman with an accent...sounds british or..." "Australian", Bobby finished, "Let me have those." Det. Cluck handed him the earphones as he slipped them on his head. He listened quietly while Cluck slipped on another set and handed extras to Eames and Logan. THey all shared glances as they listened to the conversation inside. Bobby didn't mind sharing glances with the detective he'd never met before. His day was finally turning around with the attractive women he had come in contact with today. "Its her," he whispered. "I'll try calling the phone again." Det. Cluck said. "She answered!" She handed the phone to Goren who suprisingly passed it to Eames. "Nicole?" she asked. Unfortunately,

Logan yank the phone out of Eames hand. "What the hell you think your doing?" He yelled to Nicole.
Goren pulled the phone out of Logan's hand.Put his hand over the reciever,"Logan, now isn't the time for this."
Everyone was staring at the two of them now. Both badly bruised and covered in bandages fighting over a phone.
Eames took back the reciever" Nicole, is that you?"
"Well, Well, if it isn't rent a womb" Nicole replied.
"Nicole, you need to release the hostages and come out." trying to remain calm, replied Eames.
"Not until I get what I want," snickered Nicole."
"What is that" asked Eames.
"Well I found out, as I am sure Bubby found out, I am not carrying his baby, I want to know who's Baby this is and they won't tell me" yelled Nicole.
"Nicole, just come out and we can talk about it, we have the father here and he wants to talk to you too." said Eames.
Logan gave a look to Eames. Eames avoided eye contact with Logan.
