I need to re-format mine so the colors and stuff come out a little better.

Good use of gradient. You may want to try using a drop shadow to define the edge on one side, and maybe a once over the tape with the blur tool to make it look less rendered and shiny. You can also change the angle on your gradient to not be so symetrical. Grain filter could also help with giving it more texture.

i know!! his accent is so good. he is the only british actor ive seen who has the american accent prefected. its funny, when i was overseas i was living with a british girl my age, and after hearing and living with american accents she said it was like living in a movie.

I wouldn't have even known Hugh was British, if someone hadn't told me. Then I caught him on a talk show. ;-) And in the commentaries on the DVD sets.

I used to work with a few British counselors when I ran the barn at a summer camp that hired people from all over the world. It was an excellent experience, and I found myself using *their* terminology a bit, by the time the summer was over. ("Bum", for one ;-)

It was a bit ODD taking the Brits to the July 4th celebrations here. ;-))

like wise spook. when my friend told me he was british i flipped out! hehe!! it was funny, i was the same way with my friend. she got me using british words and i got her to use american. and we some people didnt understand what she was talking about, i was like a translater! lol!! i could see how weird it would be to take them to see fireworks lol!!

To post a picture you first have to have the URL (web address) for the picture. Most people are using the URL from a photo storage site like Flickr or Photobucket. You can hotlink (take the URL from the post) but it is not really considered polite, as it takes bandwidth away from the site the photo is hosted at. Photobucket is free as long as you don't exceed the bandwidth. If you use Photobucket, once you upload your pic there will be four boxes underneath it labeled "Email & IM", "Direct Link", "HTML Code" and "IMG Code" with the corresponding URLs. Copy direct link and open a reply box on the boards. Click on the "insert image picture" (it looks like a little photo). A box should pop up that says "please insert the URL for this image". Copy the direct link into the space provided and hit "OK". Your pic should show up in the reply box.

And that's how you put a pic in your post. I hope that was helpful!

Ok I am thinking I am probably ready to have an avi and a signature since I will probably be talking a lot more in the future. My question is can I use anything here and credit the artist or can I request something or how does that work?

I am fine if you use my icons/avatars/banners and so forth as long as you give me credit, like you said. Most people are okay with that but it's always good to double check.

Some of us take requests as well.

yeah, you can use any of my stuff that you want. you don't have to get elaborate when you credit me. Just put jcsavestheday really small under the pic.
