I got this idea from the SVU board (they have so many good threads over there!). And since we have several fan artists here, from what I can tell, I thought I would make a thread for us CI-philes.

I finally got it this... at first I thought that you put it in there as a reference to the post you were replying to, and i was understanding it in the context of that.

Seeing it posted in this setting makes it take on a whole new life for me.

The original joke that you can spot on t-shirts and bumper stickers goes "Come to the Dark Side. We've got cookies!"

So I made it work for what we're about here.

I tried to explain the pic to my roomie and she couldn't understand why you would go to the dark side for Bobby.

I really like it. It makes me laugh.

There's an educational piece being filmed in the library where I work by some students with pretty snazzy equipment (nice camera, camera track, lighting, the whole bit) and I thought about the WGA strike. I know that's dumb, but I though, eh, someone might find it interesting.

Could someone direct me to a good CI avatar location? I'd much prefer to use something made by a fan.

Actually, it's more like this:
I used to be resident stage manager at a theater company who used a Meisner/Suzuki technique meld. So, I'm a big fan of actors like VDO who incorporate Method with more intellectual acting techniques.
I like heros who use their brains.
I like the sense of justice Goren has. He's not always about "getting his man."

I honestly didn't even know Amy had guested on CI until I was looking for guest stars that I liked. Her name appears very high up on Wikipedia's alphabetical listing.

VDO trained with Sonia Moore and Sharon Chatten
Chris Noth is a Yale Drama (Masters) alum and trained with Meisner
Katie was with Steppenwolf out in Chicago (along with her now ex-husband Terry Kinney and Gary Sinise)
Courtney Vance went to Harvard (I forget where his missus Angela Bassett trained)
Jamey Sheridan's training, Eric Bogosian's training and Julianne and Alicia's training I am not all that familiar with
