What we still need to know ??? write things you think still have to happen so that there may be in end to the 4400. As you all know cancelling the show would be a bad idea because there are a lot of things we still need to now maybe this will give ideas for the 5th season

Here is a couple of things i think are important to know

1.Will Tom take the promicin shot ??? when will he do it and why?
2.What will be his ability
3.Who are the other marked AND what will happing with them
4.What is going to happing with maia's dream about gabriel hewitt in the future
5.Is Alana coming back

i could go on but i want to see your ideas
Come on 4400 fans let's show these guys that we need a 5th season to know the events that still haven't been solved or that still haven't happened

Need to know—When Nina and Ryland dropped off the planet, where did they land?
Kimera
Why did they come back in a ball of light? Behr promised to answer the question but didn't...

IMO it would be incompetent of the writers to leave the audience hanging about whether Jordan is still marked or he went for the cure. I agreed that if this is the final episode, then the official theme is that Jordan is not marked. But the writers left it open in case, now is the time to deliver.
Original4400
Even if the show is not renewed, I can't imagine USA leaving its faithful fans hanging. Perhaps they wil do a two hour movie or booked the series with another six hour mini-series. Wouldn't that be sweet?

I'd like to know who sent the 4400 and what the major disaster is that precipitated the abductions.

I'd like to know what the original catastrophe was, and what the future is now. I would also like to know how Jordan handled the Marked, and how the government dealt with the NTAC agents who became P-Positive.
weckar
I always wondered if Jordan will try to stop the production of promicin inhibitor...
amerirish
I want to see....

1. What happens to Seattle under Jordan's control
2. How does NTAC get their city back, if they do
3. Who is Cassie exactly and what does she have planned
4. How will the new abilities play into the story (Marco, Meghan, etc.)
5. Will Kyle & Tom have to stand off against each other at some point
6. Who exactly is Sara and what is her role in the future catastrophe
7. Whatever happened to the super soldier program
8. Will Kevin perfect the test
9. Will Diana and Ben actually get married like Maia predicted
10. How is Kyle "the answer to everything" like Maia said
11. What happened to the ripple effect
12. Will any of the visions Shawn had about the future come true
13. What's going on with the NOVA group

I could go on and on......

I would like to see all of those questions answered personally, but some other things I want to know the answers to are

what the significance of the number "4400" is (Bher said it had a meaning as to why 4400 people were taken)
along those lines I would also like to know what is the connection between the 4400? (what do they all have in common?)
and whatever happened with the Starzl mutation?

Side note: USA has less than 2 days to answer if the 4400 has been renewed for a fifth season. I was just wondering when I can offically give up hope of there being a 5th season? Should we all just assume that if there is no word by Nov. 1st, 12:00 am (EST) that there will be no more 4400 or what?
Bubba_Bridges
Hi Bubba here, if it doesn't get renewed, I hope there is a two hour special to wrap up the series.

When and where? The episode guide said the opposite.

The companion guide said in Stevens words "It sounded good." There was no significance to the number, unless they are changing their minds and giving it meaning.
scififreak23
did shawn taking kyle's place in the abduction process change any of TPFTF'S plan? I've been wanting an answer to that question since it was stated in white light.

will there be a rebellion against jordan by the outside world or by ntac or both now that he's taken over seattle.

What does the White Light Cult book really mean? Because I don't believe it means what they think it means.

i agree.

there are so many questions that need to be answered i don't even know where to start.
The more i think about all the loose ends, and open plot lines, the more i realize just how much this once awesome show just totally fell apart after season2..

But if the show does come back (and i hope it does) or if there is at least a proper finale.. i would like to see these questions answered and/or these issues addressed if they could.. maybe a 3 hour finale could fit all this in tongue.gif

1. What is the Catastrophe?
2. Where the heck is Sarah, and the "Good" PFTF faction?
3. Where did Alana go and why?
4. How did they age Isabelle age overnight?
5. What/Who was the ball of light in Kyle in season2?
6. Why were 4400 people taken, if the end goal was to hand out promicen anyway?
7. Show more scenes from the future, or at least how each side came to war.
8. Who is Cassie?
9. Who started the white light cult?
10. What is the origin of Promicen?
Phanta
How did they take them?
How did they return them?
Why those 4400?
Why was Tom chosen as their "go to guy"?
Since Sara or any other PFTF appreared in season 4 did the time line change so much that they no longer exist?
Startzl Mutation? Why was this no pursued more?
and many many more.

It was during season 2 sometime; they did a behind the scenes interview thing. you could be right, Bher could have be lying. Your information is probably more currnet then mine Phanta... so I don't know. But even if "4400" doesn't mean anything, I think it would be neat to see them wirte it into the show some how becuase (at least for me) it would make the mystery of the 4400 a little more intersting and it would be one more question I'd like to see them answer.

Like in a couple of books that I have read and the last book has "How it all started." Like with Season 5, I would like them to go back to the beginning and show the real seattle and why they had to change the future. What year was it? Who was there? Was Tom and Jordan older or died. How did they come up with the ball of light as time travel? Who wrote the book? I think that would be interesting to see!

The companion guide is for season 1 and 2. That is all I know, wether it was written before the DVD was done or not I don't know. I just know it was said that there was no significance when it was titled that.

I'd like to see a little glimpse of the future--if there's no season five, they should at least do a tiny little shout-out! A five minute clip to answer our questions? That'd be great. "Alana wrote the book, Jordan was on the right side but his morals were askewed, Tom doesn't take the shot but Kyle makes him and he gets the ability to block 4400 abilities, including his own! Diana never overcomes her resistence and Maia leaves home at age 14, elopes with Shawn, and they live happily ever after, until the war." Now that wasn't so hard smile.gif

I haven't listened to all the DVD commentaries so I can't comment on what Ira said regarding the significance of 4400 but I do remember the comp guide saying the same thing, Phanta.

I think the Comp Guide really opened my eyes to how "by the seat of their pants" the whole production of the show is. Amy Berg's blog suggests otherwise but she did come in later and maybe the show was more organized by the time she arrived. My gut is she was trying to make it sound more planned than it really is, because there's just too many questions, gaps and dropped storylines for a storyline that is really well planned.

ITA! I am so on the same page, zippy... it would help so much if they could answer a bunch of the why's.

I am wondering if we are sucking all the life out the 4400 by demanding we know all...

However, I do agree, if the 4400 does end, they should at least do an episode or movie or something that explains most (if not all) of the still unresolved mysteries to the show.

thats a good point PJ.. and i posted a similar thought a while ago.. that while this forum is really interesting with all the analyzing, and theorizing going on, it really did surpass the actual creative writing of the show.

While we tried to make sense of all the plot lines, situations, and episodes.. in reality the writers seemed to have no direction, and answers to all the plot lines we debate here.

The tremendous amount of analyzing here in this forum also led us (or at least me anyway) to be eventually disappointed in the end when we got no answers, or closure to the show from the writers.

so, at this point i don't think the show can possibly live up to the hype and scrutiny created here in this forum

so, this is a bad place to be for the 4400.. leaving its die hard fans dissapointed, and cannot generate new fans because due to numerous reasons
Phanta
Well, if I could only have one answer it would be "What was the catastrophe?" And it better not be something stupid like Sara got a bad cup of coffee at a future starbucks so decided to mess up the timeline to wipe them out. LOL

I'm not against analysis, per se.... but there are those here who want everything spelled out for them. I don't think such a thing is good for anyone and makes everything stale. A little mystery is a good thing.

I want to know.......

(1.) was Rebecca one of the Marked or just some agent from the future?
(2.) Will any of the other Marked get to her in time to get the entity out of her & into someone else?
(3.) How long could the nanites (sp?) or whatever stay inside her dead body before perishing?

This is just more for my list really, but I was thinking about this while driving home yesterday. Geeze, I'll have to add that to the "you know you're addicted to The 4400 when...." thread! tongue.gif

What I meant was this: was Rebecca's body that of someone in the present (like Tom, Imroth & Jordan) or was she more of a Sarah type; a person who actually traveled back from the future. Capishe? biggrin.gif

Rebecca Parrish was Director of National Intelligence. She nominated Meghan Doyle for NTAC. Her position was probably why she was Marked.

I think she was like Tom, and was infused with the nanites to become Marked. Remember how she described to Tom the change she experienced, when she was trying to "reassure" Tom about the confusing experiences he was having? That would make me think she was a normal present day person who had been Marked.

You know what I wonder about? Probably not, but I'll tell you. lol biggrin.gif It's a scene in the commercials that USA was running right before S4 started and it showed Shawn sitting on the ground, his clothes bloodied and tattered, holding his hand up to his head. He was half crying and half saying "Oh my God". I don't remember that scene from the show. Does anyone know that scene and where it's from? Thanks.

I think I found what you're talking about:

Season 4 teaser

(around 19/20 seconds into the video)

It looks to me that its a scene from Shawns visions after smoking Claudio's cigar. I'm certain it's from the vision that he had where Tom dies.

See, I was thinking that it was probably from that episode but for some reason I am remembering a totally different scene from that episode. Maybe I'm just remembering one of the other scenes that were shown in the cigar visions and am just not remembering the one they used in the promo. Thanks, Amerirish. smile.gif

I don't know why they showed it before Season 4. It was from Shawn's cigar vision, right after Tom died.
