Hey guys, here are the results of this year's Cyber Sunday PPV:

Rey Mysterio def. Finlay in a Stretcher Match

CM Punk def. The Miz to retain the ECW World Heavyweight Championship

Mr. Kennedy def. Jeff Hardy in a Non-Title Match

Kane def. MVP via Countout and MVP is still the U.S. Heavyweight Champion

HBK def. RKO via DQ but RKO is still the WWE Heavyweight Champion

Triple H def. Umaga in a Street Fight

RAW's Mickie James won the Divas Halloween Costume Contest

Batista def. The Undertaker to retain the World Heavyweight Championship

and get this, Stone Cold was the Guest Referee (Thank GOD it was NOT JBL)

and those are the results to this year's Cyber Sunday PPV.

Well all I can say is this:

Thank GOD that I did NOT spend $40 on this PPV, I liked Bound For Glory BETTER!

and also, 4 weeks from Tonight, it is the 21st Annual Survivor Series LIVE on PPV

but I cannot WAIT for TNA's Genesis 2007 LIVE on PPV in 2 weeks.

So guys, please tell me what do you make of all of this.
Bubba_Bridges
Hi Bubba here, just another WWE PPV. Thanks for the results.
tnalockdownfan
No problem Bubba my man.

Although I'm not a fan of Triple H or Umaga, I wanted to see them face off in a Steel Cage Match.

and also, I knew that it was going to be HBK getting the shot against RKO, but I wanted for Jeff Hardy to face Orton and win.

and also, I cannot BELIEVE that Batista is still the World Heavyweight Champion.

The Miz facing CM Punk?

Are You kidding me?

I like CM Punk, but The Miz is a joke.

and also, Mickie James won the Halloween Costume Contest, BORING!
and plus, I'm glad that Rey Mysterio won the Stretcher Match against his archrival and WCW Alumni Finlay.

So guys, anybody else care to reply in the results?
Brendon
what was that crap with Batista?! Undertaker should have won!

I knew Orton was gonna keep the title.

Nobody cares about ECW anymore so that match was pointless.

I wanted Finlay to win but I guess Mysterio was just a little bit better.

I knew Triple H was gonna win cuz he's better than Umaga.

What was with that US Title match? When did they find time for the new votes? How did they choose the canidates?

and where the hell was Chris Jericho? there was so much stipulation as to whether or not he was coming back yesterday but I guess I was wrong.

A lot of predictable results outside the Taker/Batista match. I thought Taker was promised a lengthy run by the WWE prior to his injury, so why won't they give him the title now while he's still healthy...puzzling.
tnalockdownfan
Well I can answer that.

Batista is one of Vince's Favorites, and also, when The Undertaker took the World Heavyweight Title from Batista @ Wrestlemania 23, the guys in the SD!/ECW Locker Room were so happy to see Batista w/o the belt.

and also, Batista hasn't been getting any respect in the SD!/ECW Locker Room ever since he went to SD! and even when he came back from an injury.

and plus, there are alot of people that told me that when they met Batista, he was rude and obnoxious.

No WONDER he's got the World Heavyweight Title Orton is still the WWE Heavyweight Champion and he doesn't get any respect either.

I mean, someone otold me that when they went to an autograph signing of Orton, he spit in front of the fans when he told them that he didn't care about them.

as the words to Judge Joe Brown, DISGUSTING!

I'll bet that either Taker is going to take the title from Batista @ either Survivor Series or Armageddon.

Yes Lockdown, WWE loves giving world titles to its poor workers.

Do you have any evidence to back these claims?
tnalockdownfan
I sure do, but right now, I got to get to work, but I will give'em to you later on.
Kritter
Alright then. I'm sure neither of them are perfect, but if they were that bad, WWE would not be giving them these kinds of pushes.
thirdseason847
the only reason he is getting these pushes is because he is good friends with hhh. The only reason he is getting more title reigns it's because of the politics backstage.
tnalockdownfan
Exactly!

and BTW, Triple H and Batista have held the World Heavyweight Championship more than once.

and I'm talking about the World Title that is currently on SD!

Anyone else think the voting was rigged?
The dead give-away was the Miz being selected for the title match.
No one likes that guy.
Also, notice that unlike the Diva voting, the Cyber Sunday voting didn't have the option to text in your vote? This could be due to the possibility of the WWE getting nailed for fraud, since texting in your vote costs $. If the matches were predetermined, this would constitute paying for a service you didn't receive.

Just some thoughts...
tnalockdownfan
Yes, the voting were rigged, Thank GOD that I didn't vote.

and also, WWE has decided that they are going to cancel Cyber Sunday and New Year's Revolution.

What do you all make of that.

Took a while for you to realize that the voting would be rigged. And I actually do know a Miz fan...don't know why he is, but there exists some Miz fans out there.

I voted for Miz. Why would they have Miz lose the Smackdown before Cyber Sunday if they were gonna give him a title match?

Maybe to make him an underdog.

This past PPV is just clear evidence about the demise of the wwe and the overall down trend in pro wrestling products in general. I was a fan in the 80's thru the hogan dynasty but as i got older and wiser i began to see that his reign was hurting the shows and i tuned out. i picked back up during the attitude era which in my opinion was the recent golden age with raw and nitro battling for the audiences. say what you will but when nwo first came out i was glued to the tv for all wcw shows. austin was at his peak and a austin/goldberg was the fantasy match. as the nwo wheels fell off and austins injuries limited his tv time we had another lull untill the sale that sealed the deal to prevent any more creativity. when wwf bought wcw it signaled the end, the move said that we would no longer be treated to another quality product, the same old tired wrestlers will be trotted out as champs and there will be no more fresh ideas. I hoped that the recent relaunch of ecw, cenas title run would help jump start the business and the birth of tna would provide a alternative but i was wrong. no disrespect to tna but it just doesn't click with me. don't bother asking me why i can't put my finger on it but it seems very sophmorish and bringing the steiners and rikishi out doesn't seem wise to me. cena was having a hogan like title run which he couldn't lose which doesn't work anymore and ecw is reduced to kelly kelly dating balls mahoney with no more extreme matches so why is it extreme championship wrestling. i cannot comment about smackdown because they have not done anything to get me to watch. nothing fresh, nothing new, and while i find hhh to be the wrestler i would pay to watch his return can't be good especially to reunite with hbk. call me wrong but i can lash out the only way i know how, turn off the recording reminders on my dvr and walk away.
tnalockdownfan
Well, you won't have to worry about Rikishi, b/c he's gone from TNA, and that's b/c of his attitude and asking for too much money.

Besides, there are some young people who want to come to TNA, but it's up to them if they want the contract.

and also, I like TNA, the Indies and WCW, but the WWE going back to doing PPV's w/o Brand only was a good idea, but too many PPV's.

I hope that next year, WWE decides to get rid of some of those PPV's.

They need to go back to doing 1 PPV a month, and NOT like 14, 15 or 16 PPV's a year.

I mean, when the WWE decided to bring back The Great American Bash, I thought that it was a good idea, but then it turned into a disaster.

and also, when the WWE decided to bring Taboo Tuesday, it was a disaster as well, and many are saying that it has been rigged.

In 2005, WWE introduced New Year's Revolution it became a terrible PPV and then they decided to get rid of Bad Blood, and I thought that it was a terrible PPV and replace it with ECW One Night Stand and I thought that it was pretty good, and then in 2006, they had ECW December to Dismamber, but it turned out to be a disaster.
