I think that you're referring to the 'moving to cable slashed the wardrobe budget in half' phenomenon, which is further complicated by the 'taller than average man put on a butt load of weight' and 'wardrobe dosen't kow how to clothe a tall fat man who is constanly losing and gaining weight' syndromes.
I think it is absolutely the case that he (VDO) is wearing bad clothing to show his (Goren's) deterioration. They're filming in NYC, and if you can't get clothing, tailoring, and alterations there to fit anyone from tony sorprano to richard belzer, then what? I think VDO has enough invested in Goren to provide his own clothing if its due to budget slashing.

I actually didn't intend to come off like I was making a jab at Vince. I understand that his weight gain was for a role (and he doesn't look too bad heavier). I was expressing my disgust with the fact that it doesn't seem like his suits have been the best quality this season and that they get a smaller budget per ep.
It seems to me as if wardrobe was unsympathetic to Vince's weight gain for his roles. I'm so glad you're back Lozzie, too, Queen of Pirates! Are you going to use the tie clip goren statue for a masthead, or elsewhere on the ship, or can I take it over to the new entrance to Twilight Isle, or should we make more? Also, wouldn't mind a marble copy of that David/Goren, either. The happy face might blow off in the trade winds, so we have to be careful.
I stopped by to sharpen my cutlass while you were gone. You obviously have the best grinding wheel. Also tasted some of the successful, well-dressed homosexual meatballs. They were absolutely delicious, though I can't see how you could tell which of the cattle were gay. Do you really think it affects the taste?
Fa&&ot also used to mean kindling, and when we were in campfire girls beginners were called Fa&&ot finders, because we gathered kindling. Also, that was another name for cigarette. I myself honor diversity. We've got to here, 'cause VDO is such an Adonis.

My art teacher made a vacuuform plastic mold of a womans torsoe, and then they would cast jello in it for art receptions. I'd like to see something like that at one of our parties, spoon duels!

detectiveB and I have sailed the Silver Clipper into Lozzies Cave on the South Island of Twilight Isle. There she is safe for the hopeful return of Lozzie. dectectiveB send a team of metal searchers to the spot where Goren caused the volcano to erupt, and we found new veins of tie clip metal.
