Have some of you noticed bobby's old quirks have been replaced with strange tics ( spasmodic ones )?Perhaps they are the result of Bobby's state of mind.... tongue.gif

sf.. I like you.. but could you please reconsider.. stop and think... check the threads.. read ediquette before you start another @#$^ thread. this could have gone in the numerous Bobby or Goren threads.. could have gone in Goren and Eames.. OT... when you start these threads it pushes others back to the back pages.. when you could have posted this in an existing thread.. and trust me.. people would have read it!.. and you would have gotten many replies.

Bobby's ticks and quirks are funny! That's why he's a great actor, IMO. tongue.gif

I may be asking for trouble here. I know that "tics" is a difficult thing to find in our growing list of threads; but, there is a thread entitled "Anyone notice how nosy Goren is?" that has covered Goren's odd character and investigative traits in the past.

just a thought.....i know when i want to start a post (haven't recently...but have on boards in the past)...sometimes it might not seem appropriate on a certain board when someone else thinks it might. there's no way i'd put a topic like this on the "goren & eames" board....and the goren or bobby thread seems to cover such a vast array of topics...maybe someone just wants to talk about his tics or mannerisms....and not be in the middle of 10 other different conversations

just my two cents. if you want to still read those other posts...then go get them....you can bring them back to the top of the board and if they're really that interesting they'll stay there. otherwise they get so dang long that i don't want to spend hours reading them just to make sure my one little thought or inquiry hasn't been said on page 19 of a 34 page thread already.

just a thought...i mean, yes, if it fits into another thread...then obviously put it there. we don't want IDENTICAL (or nearly identical) repetitive threads....but otherwise....a few different topics re: goren in a few different threads isn't anything to get too upset about is it? it makes me nervous to even think about starting a thread here, for fear of getting yelled at sad.gif

that said...sf, what do you mean? can you give an example?

It's okay bug. smile.gif It's the same on the SVU forum, there's a bunch of us who try to help out others. (About starting new threads and this and that.) I wish we had more people here would do that. This forum is way too crowded with threads we don't need.

I mentioned in another thread that it seems Robert purses his mouth a lot more than usual these days.

And I said it could be his new veneers. They are uncomfortable until you get used to them, the make them a little larger, first it effects your speech, until you adjust.

did he really get veneers? in his earlier days his teeth still seem straight, just not as white...I thought he had them whitened because he's a smoker?

VDO had the cutest "snaggle-teeth" in the front until some time in S1 (?), when he got 'em "fixed".

They do look whiter, too. ;-)

I'm glad you commented on my behalf somehow . smile.gif About goren's tics ...well i wanted to start a discussion because they are very different from those quirky attitudes goren used to have ...the previous seasons . i mean...it was that ''lean'' , '' gazing intensly into sb's eyes '' , '' the manual gestures '' and now these ones disappeared completely (maybe because VDO found them goofy as he said in the interview) and were replaced by certain facial expressions ...i've noticed many times bobby bites the insides of his mouth , or pouts his lips , or scrathes one of his ears ...i know they are trifles ..but i pointed them out to bring more insight into the formation of the character ...and discuss about this ...happy now? tongue.gif

He's had his "veneers" for years and years now. I think it's a habit he's picked up OR it could be a new character trait. When I see him, I'll ask wink.gif
