The new season is extremely disappointing. The show seems to have lost all of its best qualities. But the one that really irked me the most was how the show no longer keeps you watching to the very last minute with anticipation because it ends 3 minutes before the hour instead of 15 seconds before the hour. ..WTF. IMHO This really set the show apart from other shows on TV. You could watch the time knowing the show wasnt over until the very last minute.... bye bye ?:59 now its ?:57.

it ends earlier because of the movie advertisements. It stinks, but I guess that's what happens when you go to cable.

It happens with all shows the longer they stay on the air. I remember hearing that on the commentary of a Friends DVD. The longer a show is on the more expensive it is to produce. So they lose a minute here and there for more advertising. Less Bobby cannot be a good thing!

Me, too, Bubba...I'm glad we still have it at all. Advertisements pay salaries, so as long as I TiVo, makes no matter to me.

When you get the eps on Amazon unbox, they're still 42-43 minutes long... "Amends" ran 43 and "Smile" ran 42. This is about how long the older eps run when you download them.

Please leave the Logan epis alone! I like him too, there's no need to take time away from his epis to add on to the Goren epis! How about we take 10 minutes of the angsty Goren melodrama scenes out of the G/E epis and add the time on to the Logan epis instead? I don't think the Goren-only fans would like that, so let's be fair.

According to the time counter on my recordings, the Goren and Logan epis last about the same time as when they were on NBC, about 42 minutes so they're not being cut short. USA must have a different timing for commercials at the breaks in order for the epis to end earlier before the hour. But they are NOT shorter than before.

I'm not offended, I just get a little out of sorts sometimes. I know almost everyone here prefers Goren, I happen to like Goren and Logan equally. I might be the ONLY one here who likes Logan, lol!

No, you aren't alone. I wasn't a CI fan until I found out Logan was joining. He's the reason I started watching CI. I love them both--maybe Goren a bit more.

You know, I loved Chris as Mr. Big, but I didn't start to like him as Mike Logan until the end of last season and even more this season, but Robert has my heart. I'd like to see Mike mature a bit more, but I like his streetwise smarts. I think Falacci will give him a run for his money and not take his crapola!
