What's the new (female) detective's name that they just added two weeks ago? I thought it was Wheeler, but Wheeler seems to be the old partner of Logan's. Thanks!

Her name is Det. Nola Falacci played by Alicia Witt. Julianne Nicholson who plays Wheeler is on maternity leave.

So does that mean that Julianne Nicholson (Detective Wheeler) will be returning later on this season (or next season)?

yes she is on maternity leave, Witt is only signed on for 6 episodes. Unless for some reason Nicholson decides to break her contract and not come back.
