Hey guys, earlier I did facts on the TT/CS History of the WWE World Tag Team Championship, but for those of you that don't know, in the history of Taboo Tuesday/Cyber Sunday, only 2 people were crowned as the NEW Singles Champions:

Shelton Benjamin and Amy Dumas

Here's what happend:

Taboo Tuesday 2004

Shelton Benjamin def. 7X I-C Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho

Shelton Benjamin made an immediate impact on SmackDown! upon entering WWE, capturing the WWE Tag Team Championship with partner Charlie Haas. Then he was shipped off to RAW, where he made a similar impact, defeating the likes of Triple H and Ric Flair. His biggest victory, however, came at Taboo Tuesday when the fans voted him into the Intercontinental Championship match against Chris Jericho. Benjamin made the most of his opportunity, beating Y2J for the gold.

Cyber Sunday 2006

Lita def. Mickie James in a Lumberjills Match for the vacant WWE Women's Gold

With Trish Stratus retiring following her Women's Championship victory against Lita at Unforgiven, the championship was declared vacant the next night on RAW.

More than one month later, Lita defeated Mickie James at Cyber Sunday in a WWE fan-voted Diva Lumberjacks Match to reclaim the title. Having defeated Candice, Maria and ultimately, Mickie James in a tournament for the vacated gold, Lita earned her fourth Women's Championship.

However, the finish saw Victoria trip MJ and MJ dropped kicked Victoria allowing Lita to hit her signature DDT to win the match and the title and this was 7 weeks after Lita lost the title to Trish @ Unforgiven in Trish's Hometown in Toronto.

Congratulations to these 2 and God Bless and I know that these 2 are TRUE athletes that TRULY DESERVES Championship Gold.

Y2J was the best at putting over wrestlers, especially those who were not on his level, just like Shelton Benjamin who I think will be around for a long time to come. Jericho knew that.

I've been reading Jericho's new book. I'm a fan from way back.
