I don't feel sorry for moark like some, but she's pathetic! Her and her other sybil's! We're not pathetic, this topic should be named after her or they, whomever she is.

What gets me, each time, she begs and begs saying she changed and wants another chance. Wonder who she will show up as next. I only responded to her on Triva when she answered a question, I wasn't getting involved with her again. Had been there and done that.

This moark does not deserve your time our attention. She is a child who has learned if she does something wrong she gets more attention than when she behaves. Ignoring her completely would be more effective than a million words. Now back to Bobby!!!!!!!!On my way to work this morning it just out of the blue popped into my head a few things I would like to do to him [or with him] I got more flushed than any hotflash I ever had and if I wasn't knee deep in traffic I would have taken advantage of some of these hugh snowbanks we have we have to cool off a little!!! Talk about Global warming!!!!!!!

This happens to me quite often, heck, that was the reason I started posting on this forum, I figured others would understand. But, I had to stop logging on during breaks at work cause then I couldn't get Bobby out of my head and get back to work. Our detective is highly addictive, there should be a disclaimer on the previews: "viewing Bobby episodes could cause serious daydreaming, flushing of the cheeks, and other symptoms that can't be discussed in mixed company".

Yes, it is. But, I'm willing to suffer all those symptoms for the pleasure of that devotion. I even ran home at lunch today to record the two episodes on USA. I am a little dvr challenged and can't get mine to record--since hubby is in Canada I couldn't ask him to do it for me. You know I'm missing him dreadfully at this point, and not cause I can't work the dvr! A little OT here, poor guy had to fly out from New Jersey while we were waiting for the snow storm to hit. They forgot to put his luggage on the plane so he got to Toronto at 10 in the evening with no luggage. That was Sunday night. They didn't find his luggage and get it to him until Tuesday. He didn't have any time to shop for new clothes--he was expected at the client site at 8 in the morning Monday. He was so frustrated wanting to get clean clothes. But, this trip has turned out better for him than the one to Idaho in December--the client isn't screaming and threatening him like the folks at Boise airport did. He expects to be all finished on Thursday so he can relax getting to the airport Friday afternoon. Then Saturday is supposed to be sunny and warm.

I haven't said much about moark, but she creeped me out from the beginning so I stopped replying to her posts. I feel like I've found a lot of great people on this forum and she just wasn't fitting. My boys are on other forums--mostly Star Trek stuff--its a genetic obsession from their dad--My son, Nick, tells me every forum gets their "blackstar". I guess that is one person they all avoid. I like this forum, it took me awhile to sign up cause I wanted to make sure it was a fun and friendly place.

Oh, your poor hubbie...losing luggage is such a pain! Then to have to go to work the next day in your day-before-airplane-clothes...ick! I hope the rest of his trip goes well, and he gets home safely to you for a good weekend! It's supposed to be nice here in D.C. this weekend, as well...in the 60's. Yay!!! I really want to put all my wool away and bring out the cotton!

He's home now, safe and sound, but not before I got lost trying to get to the airport. If anyone has experience driving in New Jersey you know that you might be fine on the highway, but once you get off the main road and you need to get back to the highway, the signs are few and far between and they hide them. SO, I pulled off the road only to discover the VZ Navigator on my cell phone wouldn't work because they didn't activate something when they had to replace my phone. It was getting dark and I knew his plane was landing and I was getting ready to panic--all I knew was I wasn't where I was supposed to be. So, I called my son and had him get on the computer. I gave him some landmarks he could look up and figure out where I was and then direct me back to the interstate. He did a great job, my hubby was waiting right outside, he had just picked up his luggage. At least this time they remembered to put it on the plane! I was very happy to see him. We both agree we hate the separations for work, but we love the homecomings. Just 24 days until we leave for Puerto Rico! 8 days without children and work to interfere.

Okay this is pathetic...but not LOCI pathetic...more like Gavin pathetic...at work today I dropped a gallon metal can of black olives off a shelf head high onto the top of my foot. A friend at work wanted to look at it to make sure I didn't break anything...and all I could picture was Gavin holding that chicks foot on the boat...~~sigh~~

Pathetic..with a capitol P!

And, I have a lovely purple foot top in the meantime.... blink.gif

I admit I'm very pathetic, but so is almost everybody. laugh.gif

My name's not sybil. It's Serena. (Well you already know who I am don't you?)

Now call me that.

No! Noone's as pathetic IMO as you, and you're not to be trusted! Sybil! You're amean and vicious person, that I can't wait to see banned!I'm a pretty kind person, but when it comes to you, no sympathy from me ever! This is for you only!

Stop being so mean.

And I won't get banned right now because I haven't been doing anything wrong.

Now you're making me start to think you set that one dude up just to get me banned. Fishy.

Look let's stop arguing. Please. I love debating, but I don't want to talk with you anymore if all you're going to say is that I'm pathetic and crap.

I'm done agruing over pointless things.

See you later then.

Thank you, that compliment works wonders. I don't feel quite as stupid as I did Friday night. Course, now that I feel like I'm getting the flu I could really use Bobby here to take care of me. I keep having the chills and we all know how he can cure that!

This isn't really about us being pathetic -- more like Aren't They Pathetic but I figured this was the best thread for sharing this litte story... Remember "Context" and the gobbly-gook about transformation whatever? Well, these 3 ladies came into the shop where I work today and the head lady kept complimenting me on my personality. Eventually she got to the pitch -- wouldn't I want to improve myself, be even greater blah blah blah and how she was holding an "Avitar" workshop that would transform my consciousness. Uh huh. I was so close to laughing, saying "Oh, I already saw that episode!" Even the brochure she left had goofy pictures of some silver-haired fox (the "founder" of Gracenote, oops, Avitar, whatever) with smiling beautiful woman around him. What a joke. Oh well. I just hope nobody murdered anyone so they could transform their consciousness and be truly great. smile.gif

I just figured it out! I am not pathetic, I am just sick. I self diagnosed myself, I have C.O.VDOitis. It is highly contagious and spread from highly amusing insightful people on a certain CI forum. Some of the symthoms[spelling] are having his picture displayed with all your other family pictures, including your wedding pics and covering up by saying he was your best man, Having a dvd player at work and knowing all the words to every episode, Knowing his size, shape and the fact he likes water and strawberry ice cream and not remembering what I had for breakfast. I could go on and on but that would just make me pathetic. The cure for Compulsive Obsessive V.D.Oitis has yet to be discovered short of a clinic, but I hear the withdrawals are much to painful for any one person to bear. So until I slip and call my husband one of VDO's many names or he gets tried of my new U B Bobby game I'll just grin and grin and bear the pain.

laugh.gif Makes me think of the song

LOVE HANGOVER
(P. Sawyer / M. Mcleod)

The 5th Dimension - 1975
Diana Ross - 1976

Ah
If there's a cure for this
I don't want it
Don't want it
If there's a remedy
I'll run from it
From it

Think about it all the time
Never let it out of my mind
'Cause I love you

I've got the sweetest hangover
I don't wanna get over
Sweetest hangover

Yeah, I don't wanna get over
I don't wanna get
I don't wanna get...over

Ooh, I don't need no cure
I don't need no cure
I don't need no cure

Sweet lovin'
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet love
Sweet, sweet love
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet love

Don't call a doctor
Don't call her momma
Don't call her preacher

No, I don't need it
I don't want it

Sweet love, I love you
Sweet love, need love

If there's a cure for this
I don't want it
I don't want it no
If there's a cure for this
I don't need it
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet love
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet love

Hullbound, I have to show my age and admit I always loved Rosemary Clooney. I really miss the genra of the old time entertainers be it music or comedy or acting. I have shaped a lot of my stand up comedy in their style. Sometimes an unsaid word can be way more funny if presented with the right body language. Anyway, ever since they mentioned C.I. Party on the off topic thread, I have been thinking of a lot of games we could play, but I am so pathetic, I just don't know!! One example would be instead of Pin the tail, we could play Pin the Python!! See why I am on the pathetic thread. I have several other games up my sleeve, but I don't know if they are postable!. I know if there is a prize for pathetic, since I am sitting here, thinking up fun games to play concerning a man I never meet, drooling over pictures and unable to sleep without my Bobby pillowcases, I'm a shoe-in for first prize pathetic award.

"Monty Penis and the Flying Circus." Yes, I am crazy.

Where did you get a Bobby pillowcase? I always wanted a pillow shaped like Tubey, the mascot from my favorite website. I don't think it would be comfortable to sleep on, but I would use it for my funary pillow.

That sounded creepy didn't it? blink.gif

I think I could run a tight race with you for that first prize pathetic award. I have been away from home for two weeks yesterday with no internet access. Talk about withdrawal!!! Yesterday my niece took my laptop and managed to tap into a faint unsecured wireless signal in one corner of a bedroom in the house where I am staying. It fades in and out. You would think that my first priority once I finally got online would be to check my e-mails and personal banking .... but NO! The first site I visited was "thereelblog" (which I highly recommend to VDO fans who don't already frequent it) followed closely by this forum. Truly pathetic!

I'm pathetic. I work at a retail store and when business is slow, I wander through the men's department and look at blue dress shirts and tie clips imagining the man who once upon a time wore blue dress shirts and tie clips.

I waited on a customer with a baby. He was a real cute little boy. The mom told me the baby's name was Owen. I immediately thought Owen would be a good middle name for Robert O. Goren.

That's too funny, Peyton! You should pick some shirt/tie clip combinations, photograph them, and send the photos into the show...along with your business card. Maybe they'll ask you to be his wardrobe consultant! rolleyes.gif

Owen's perfect!

I love the old standards, crooners, Big Band and Swing music as well as the 70's Rock, New Wave that I grew up on-many types of music actually. I think I like that older music partly because my parents listened to it and also from watching old movies with my father.
And as this the "Are We Pathetic?" thread. LBD-be thankful that you can't actually hear me sing.

Hmmm....Bobby and Games, Bobby and Games......... ::thud::

I was just watching Nelda and Bobby interact and I thought, man, that scene would not work if it were Bobby and me. I am so short he would be talking to air and alas, Nelda is just the right height to swoop over for a kiss. If I invented coil springs to attach to my shoes, something similar to a pogo stick, but a little more balanced, I could bounce up every time his lips would be close to my ear, hit the ground, rebounce for the kiss. If I jet propell the coils I could just linger in mid air long enough for a Whole Wide World scene, which is where I would be anyway, floating on clouds, if he ever got that close to me. Well, its not even eight o'clock and I managed to put myself in LaLa land. Boy am I pathetic! For once I am in the right thread!

biggrin.gif that would be quite an invention!

Theres an advert on Hallmark for their New York Crime Nights (7pm - 11pm, The mothership, LOCI, Without a Trace and SVU) which are on Mon-Fri. Theres one shot of VDO on it where he's all eyes and I have stop myself leaping over and licking the television. I'm sure my husband hears the audible gulps when that ad is on! He finds it funny......... smile.gif

So my husband is concerned about earthquakes in CA because my son is talking of moving there. He is telling me that there have been a lot of small quakes since March from San Francisco to the Salton Sea. of course once I heard Salton Sea my mind wandered. My husband is concerned for my son's safety and I'm think VDO movie. That is pathetic.

I finally got a N46 emulator and I got the game I always wanted on it when I was younger, and now I have it.

This Sunday was tough, I usually watch that episode alone. I tend to talk to Bobby through the whole episode. This time my hubby and I were in Puerto Rico and we had just gotten in from Old San Juan. He was trying to figure out what was going on. I had to resist my usual offer to fill in for Nelda. Since I'm 5'8" I wouldn't need your bouncy shoes. Then hubby started asking why Bobby never has a girlfriend. Argh! I wanted to volunteer, but that was hardly appropriate since this was our 25th anniversary trip! I didn't want to hurt his feelings. A little fantasy is healthy though. Okay, time to go look at pictures in past posts and drool a little. Its so good to be home.
