Me, neither, and I'm writing a fanfic about him! You think he'd have the decency to show up in my dreams every so often and give me story ideas! Gee, some people have NO consideration for others! *giggle* wink.gif

When I hit a dry spell I put on a favorite episode before bed. It usually does the trick.

I absolutely love that episode, but it is quite draining. So much emotion. Everytime I watch it I want to just give Bobby a big hug.

I think the people who claim to be fans and come here only to start trouble are surely Pathetic. Don't you have something better to do? Go steal candy from children or something?

J, just because I'll never have my own kids, doesn't mean I'll steal them from kids.
I love Bobby. It sometimes actually feels (not really to sound dorky or false or anything) that's he's all I have. Weird huh? When I'm all sad and stuff I pretend he's there and I feel all better (don't blame me for being the only one who does this. You'd do the same thing you people do to me to this person., This person happens to be one you guys all realy like and stuff, I can't say anymore. But I'm not the only one here who does stuff like that (what i just said).
Thank you.

You totally didn't get the meaning of what I said, so your answer is to come back with another nic?

What I meant, is people that come here just to get others to argue, or to start arguements, why not go out in life and do something else, instead of hiding behind a keyboard and a screen. Go out and do something else.

Ok jryan I'm sorry that I misunderstood you. I don't like starting aurguements. i like debating, but that's a whole other things. You know? Like the debate or speech team? Though I'm not in it

I have no life. I really can't stand school because of one student that's like sprin (it's a pycholoigcal thing where some people have a really tough time in spring and they can get really moody, becuase of nothing at all)
I'm sorry if I offended you. I didn't mean to. I really like you. I really do. I don't like hearing you think I'm doing something I'm not. I would like to make it up to you somehow. Though I don't know how. YOu're a really nice that when I get mad i think 'What would Jryan do?" And I tend to make better choices. So whether you know it or not. YOu help me.
I really would like to thank you for that. I truly do.

Thanks.

Hubby is TDY (military business trip) so I'm getting ready to sit down with a frozen dinner in front of the two episodes I taped from USA today. Should I be paying bills, doing laundry, starting that research for work that I keep putting off, changing the cat's litter box, curing a dreaded disease, bringing peace to the world, stopping global warming? Yes, I should, but, well, I have a date with my VCR and Detective Goren so those things will just have to wait.

::puts hands on hips and stomps foot to emphasize point::

Yeah, I'd say I'm a bit pathetic tongue.gif

I would say you just have your priorities LBD. My idea of multi-tasking is posting on this site while I watch what I taped. But, then, I have delegated laundry to my children--back when my herniated disc didn't allow for carrying laundry baskets they got pretty good at doing it. When the therapy ended the back pain, I forgot to tell them I could carry laundry baskets again. Besides, this is like therapy. So, you're probably onto a cure for mental illnesses at least for depression! It always puts a smile on my face.

Wow...we are so brilliant on this forum! Hullbound and theflyingmonkey have figured out how to use persistent VDO observation to cure the common cold (I think that was on the RG Fan club thread), and now you and I are coming close to a breakthrough on depression. I'm so impressed with all of us! laugh.gif

Oh...very sneaky on the laundry basket carrying. ::snickers::

Hubby is still on aforementioned business trip, so my Friday night is going to consist of breaking in my new Cuisenart popcorn popper with some gourmet popcorn (aka dinner), and the first 4 episodes of LOCI season 1. My husband put that next on his netflix list as a surprise so it would arrive while he was away. Oh yeah...he's a keeper! smile.gif I may take a break between shows if "What Not to Wear" is new, though. I just love Clinton! So maybe that makes me a little less pathetic? unsure.gif

.
That was so sweet of him. I just found out today that my hubby has to go to Toronto the first week of March and then come home to get ready to go to London for a week all before we go to Puerto Rico April 1st. Its not pretty around here when he's not with me. My poor kids. I'm thinking of renting a whole bunch of VDO's movies to watch. I can't go with him on either trip because I only have enough vacation time for our Puerto Rico trip. Our calendar year at school starts in July, so I'm getting my passport so the next trip he takes somewhere interesting after July 1st I'm going with him. The kids are old enough to manage for a few days without me but I'm not stable enough to manage without my guy.

But, on the sweet side. I haven't been able to wear my engagement/wedding ring in many years because of the weight. I still haven't lost enough, but with the arthritis we don't think my ring size will go down much smaller anyway. So, next weekend he's taking me to a jeweler in our area who will take the rings, make a mold of them and switch out the yellow gold for white and make it in my size with my diamonds. I want it before we go to Puerto Rico. He said he might need to have more diamonds added to the setting. He spoils me so.

I think the name of this thread should be changed to "We are not Pathetic". Seriously, how can we who have harnessed our VDO/CI obsess.....knowledge to help our fellow man overcome the common cold and depression for starters even think of calling ourselves pathetic. Not to mention how intelligent, compassionate and witty we all are. (How else would so many of us have snagged such intelligent, compassionate and witty mates?)

My husband is my security blanket too Mm. You must be excited about being able to wear your rings again. They'll sparkle so prettily in the sun on the beach in Puerto Rico.

What a nice suprise your hubby left for you LBD. That's sweet.

Those shoes would be so HOT with jeans. I can't say I'd spend that kind of money on shoes--I go for comfort these days. I have founnd as I've lost more weight I am drawn to the shoe dept more. I used to wear heels ALL the time. I can't wait until I can balance myself in them again. There is something really great about a sharp pair of shoes to just make the whole look work. My hubby is already an inch and a half shorter than I am, so I don't knowi if I'll go back to the 3" heels I used to wear even when I lose the weight. Although, I don't think he'd really care, nothing I do or want seems to bother him.

Of course, for my wardrobe, I'd need those shoes in red. We went into Saks yesterday. Talk about sticker-shock. Suddenlly Macy's looks cheap! When jeans are $500+ that is just insanity. Oops, that reminds me, my son needs navy pants for his mock trial tomorrow--he's the defense attorney. He wanted to be the prosecutor, but they thought he'd do better as defense. Oh, well, I just hope he has fun.

Oh, me either. I'm way too hard on shoes to spend that much on them. I just like to look! smile.gif I will surf through those last call sales, though. You never know what you might find. My preferred heel height is ~2", but I can go to 3", not all day, though. It used to not bother me, but I had a pair of figure skates about 5 years ago that were rather abusive to my left foot, and now I have to be a bit more sensible. You're so right about a nice looking pair of shoes making a difference. I notice that on men, too, so I've been encouraging my husband to get a few really nice pairs of shoes. I really started paying attention a few years ago when I was in a big meeting at work and I was looking around at all of the really bad shoes people wear (it was a boring meeting tongue.gif ), then I noticed one guy with a really shiny, nice pair of dress shoes with his khaki’s and polo shirt, and he looked more professional than the guys in suits with top-siders.

Oh...I discoverd Paul Green shoes, and I love them. They are a German company and their focus is on comfort shoes, but they have some super cute styles that don't necessarily look like comfort shoes. I've had a pair of sandals for 4 years that look brand new still and I can walk in them all day...no blisters!! Zappos.com has a really big selection. They are on the pricey side, but I just wait for the sales.

Jeans for $500...WOW! I don't tend to spend a lot on clothes, since I'm hard on them, too. I slop iced tea on everything! Also, we have very limited closet space, so I try not to tax it too much.

I hope your son has a great time at his mock trial! Tell us how he likes it!

I should buy a new pair of jeans before my next trip to Manhattan. I really could have used that bumping this past Saturday, but the trip was nice anyway. I was pretty annoyed with some stuff from work and started off in a pretty awful mood. The great thing is when we left Grand Central the clouds all went away and the sun was out all day. I must have looked okay though, when we went for lunch my best friend got mad cause the waiter was flirting with me. I didn't think he was flirting, I thought he was just being friendly, she says I am extremely naive. Its okay though cause even if he was flirting, I needed the ego boost after the day I had Friday. It worked, but I would have rather bumped into Vincent.

So last night I had this dream that I was watching a new episode of CI. It was really good, too! Too bad I don't have dream-dvr 'cause I can only remember that it was good. When I first woke up I was all excited that there was a new episode. Then I really woke up and was really bummed out. Pathetic? Maybe just a little.

I know I've sad it before but my hubby is so great. I had to stay home this weekend and it was literally eating me up. I got some sewing done and a few other things that I needed to do. Then we were talking about next weekend's plans. He gives me the little grin. "I've got the kids under control, you have a good time in New York" Isn't he absolutely the best?

He's TIED for "the best", MM. My BFF had been needing to get away from her crazy life and spend some time with me helping her sort out a nasty bg problem and to figure out what she really wants in a man and what her current priorities are. Well, I talked to hubby way back in November and he said it would be okay with him if she came over, and why don't we go spend the night in the fancy schmancy high-end casino that's just 2 miles from our house? So, she came last month for the night, and my hubby said basically the same thing yours did -- "I've got the kids under control. Have fun!" *sigh* God is so good...sending us such wonderful keeper hubbies.

Okay, I'll accept the tie. I feel bad for women who don't have men who are good for them. When both are interested in making each other happy things are great. My father in law was just like my hubby. In fact, so was my grandfather-in-law. There must be something with the men in his family. Most of the ones I know in his family are great men. Makes me pretty confident my sons will make me proud of them.

Hi, I'm LadyBlueDevil, and I'm pathetic.

Last night I logged onto my e-mail and my officemate, who is on travel, sent me an IM to tell me that "Edgar" was on. He knows I'm a huge fan, and wouldn't want to miss "Men In Black". I just love VDO as the bug!
