If I was dating/marrying someone who looked like VDO, I wouldn't mind his bed-hogging. I'd hang onto whatever little part of the bed he left me.

P - perched on the edge of our seat when watching Bobby & Alex solve the crimes.
A - adoring those "baby-browns" of detective Goren's.
T - taping (or TVO'ing) every episodes and STILL watching them on regular tv.
H - Hiding the remote, so no one can change the channel.
E - entranced by the views of Bobby:kneeling, stooping, leaning, straddling...investigating the scenes.
T - talking to everyone you know about LOCI, even the ones who do not know what LOCI means...
I - Intently observing clues & pointing out things to the detecives, even though they can't hear you!
C - Capturing screen-caps, to share with other LOCI lovers on the board!

I am guilty and pathetic of all of the above except for "H" and "C" only because if I hid the remote from my family, I would be dead and no longer be able to visit this forum and I am not technically challenged enough for screen-caps but the rest of them definitely apply.

WOW....that is really pathetic (and I like it)!!!! Especially the two "T"s, which I do all the time (except I substitute Alexandra Eames for Bobby Goren). I measure how pathetic I am by the following scale.....(aptly nicknamed the BRITNEY SPEARS SCALE)...

0..............no traces of being pathetic
50.............slightly pathetic
100...........unbelieveably pathetic
etc...

My score is...............300...........which is a perfect score and pathetic on a BIBLICAL scale....

I was pathetic long before I became "focused" on CI. The great thing about being "focused" is that it gives you a break from the things IRL that you should be focusing on like doing your taxes. Especially when you feel that if you don't take a break your head will explode.

I would not really call us pathetic... more "extremely enthusiastic", "exhuberantly fan-oriented" towards CI and Goren.. our main boy and Alex... our head girl!!!!

I was at school. I think she wanted to sleep. They don't understand us

I just had an awful fight with one of my best friends......someone I have known for over 20 years. He was over visiting tonight and I told him I was going to watch an episode of LOCI......DEPTHS......that I had not seen. He then said "You don't watch that show.....it's stupid.......let's watch something with some redeeming social value.....a show that is, in my opinion, one of the top 5 TV shows in history...." I thought for a moment to myself.......I could always record LOCI and watch it later.....maybe my friend's show will be interesting. I said "OK....what is your show?". He said "THE BIGGEST LOSER". My jaw dropped, I dived towards him over the couch and we ended up trading punches on the floor until the POLICE and paramedics arrived. After I explained what happened, the police (who love LOCI) let me go and charged my friend with being real stupid (because he likes the BIGGEST LOSER). It was a great friendship while it lasted. You never know who your true friends are until LOCI is on the TV.

I personally...am PRO-THETIC when it comes to LOCI...I am so good at being PAthetic...that I'm a "pro", hahahah...what can I say, its almost 2 am here

I have a 4 year old son, who told my husband that he wanted to get mommy Law and Order action figures so we can play while I watch for my birthday. He actually looked around the action figure aisle in the store for them....
I will also admit to putting the 4 year old and the 11 month old in for naps at 2pm....cause they have CI on some local channel....
I dont believe I am pathetic yet...I just enjoy something wholeheartedly in between my busy schedule of regular work and the child care/cleaning/cooking of home!!

Funny how pathetic sounds like a good thing in this thread. My husband is joining me in my patheticness. I was watching "Sound Bodies"-one of my favs-last night. Husband walked in watched for about a minute and asked if that was the episode where the "kid had those girls kill for him?"

That is so great. My my kids were littler, they would say "Mom, your man is on". My poor husband would just roll his eyes. I totally blame him though. He is the one that made me watch Full Metal Jacket and that was when it all began ...
