yep. one. my better half I am by far more enthusiastic, but often when we want a lazy evening we'll watch 2 or 3 episodes and discuss the case or the G/E-interaction or whatever and I proudly announced that I am a navigator now and got a "Hey, that's really funny! Are there other boats, too?". My friends usually don't watch TV at all or got rid of their TV when they had children. Alas, my partner thinks I spend way too much time on the board or reading fanfiction

Thank God that I actually do have real people to talk about to this or I'd go insane. My coworkers and I are all CI obsessed (I'm probably the worst though). We have a lot of fun talking about different episodes and joking around. After "Untethered" we spent all day yelling "I keep asking for water!" We're awful!

My boyfriend watches it with me too and likes the show a lot (although he doesn't know the true extent of my Goren love)

None of my friends who like the L&O series like CI, and my husband likes to watch it, but he thinks that I'm a weirdo for wanting to watch it 24/7 and for being on the message board and all of that kind of stuff. I wish that I had real people to talk about it with.

I guess so! And we are FUN too!

How could you forget about FRED? JanxAngel began to infer that we might be frea(ks) and somehow FRED sprung to life. Maybe we need a mascot - we can name him FRED!

Pathetic or not, at least we have something fun to think about, watch or discuss when we are having a bad day (month, year....) It's a good distraction and it isn't fattening.

Why yes, I am! Thanks for noticing. I can't get them to 'match up' and look right. Everyone's always looks so nice and I'm really pathetic - it's like I'm moving the furniture around for lack of anything else to do. Not to mention one is hotter than the next one so I can't decide between them all.

The ep we're watching is called Posthumous (sp?) Collection. I'd forgotten until I heard it said.

I liked the littler pic you had in your sig earlier, too.

My pix never match up, size-wise, either. I'm technologically DEclined. But you already knew that, Judy.

Yes, I do think we are pathetic. I mean, come on, pretty much EVERY girl here is in love with Goren and even make story-love-lines with him in it. And as for myself, I am in love with a middle-aged man with sexy, curly hair and drop-dead beautiful eyes, and sometimes pretend wr ARE together...now you tell me if we are pathetic.

It's a 'condition' you will come to love and embrace. AND you will find total acceptance here. We may be pathetic but we have a great support system.

OLDGOALIE (as you may have noticed) is head over heels about KATHRYN/EAMES and he doesn't really care if people think he is pathetic (which he is not). He finds this good, clean fun....spends a bit of time every day on the site and loves harassing the SHIPPERS (but eventually he will grow tired of this......IN 40 or 50 YEARS MAYBE!!).
