It's a game on the LOCI website to see who you'd be the perfect partner for. Bobby is everyone's obvious fave but Eames and Wheeler are getting a lot of love too. Logan is getting left out! I haven't seen yet where anyone got him!

I don't know if its really cheating. Its just obvious for most of the answers which ones Goren would most likely answer, so I chose those answers. I guess I could do it again and answer them the way I really think--but that is almost guaranteed to get me someone other than Bobby! I am not anywhere near a cerebral as he is.

So here is how pathetic I am. I raced home, took a shower, and started some mac and cheese to have while I watched my show. I get it at 7:00 because I have satellite. BUT I discovered I had a voice mail from a really old friend who I haven't talked to in several years. The thought ran through my mind that if I called back right then (it was about 6:45) I was going to miss LOCI--at least the beginning. So I considered waiting until after it was over to call. But she lives in Michigan and I think they are 3 hours ahead of us, so that would put it at 11:00 for her--too late. So I sucked it up, made sure my VCR was set (well, I love my friends but I'm not crazy!), and made the call. It was about 7:30 when we finished and I had to wait anxiously until 8:00 to rewind the tape and watch the show. You know this all seems pretty silly now that I am seeing it in print--but I really thought I exercised GREAT will power to put a call to my friend ahead of a brand-new LOCI episode (and a G/E episode at that!). Delayed gratification--I hear its good for you!
Oh yes--I am glad I made the call. It was good to catch up with her and her husband, their kids and their grandkids.

I think I can add my resounding YES to the question of whether we (the royal we) are pathetic for caring so much about a TV series (however cool it is) and its characters but.... do I care.... well, no.
I think we each of us can add our own kind of patheticness to the world and if this is my spot to do this then so be it. I for one am going to give in wholehaertedly to pathetic-dom (that is if I can get to type the word correctly one go once more).
Pathetic is fun and as long as you know you are you are in no danger of being hurt by the silly remarks of those who do not understand your particular patheticness. I am sure they all have their secret patheticness to add to this world... I mean, really who would collect small empty sugar bags of all the placed you go to have a coffee and sticks them in an album..... oh... hang on that's me as well.

I really don't care if people think I am pathetic for enjoying and discussing a great show like
LOCI. It is more pathetic if you let what they say bother you. They probably watch (and discuss) those TRULY PATHETIC reality shows (i.e. THE BIGGEST LOSER, etc.) that are lowering TV to new lows of poor taste. Thank the USA NETWORK for taking LOCI and taking it to new and interesting

Hear, Hear! My choice of visual diversions are not always of the highest caliber, but the simpletons who watch that boorish strumpet on "I Love New York" would probably frighten me if I met them in my travels. Judging by the ratings, that could be anybody! Frightening, indeed.

Since I don't have internet at home, I am considering a plan for the night Untethered airs. I think I will watch it at home at 7:00 (I get it the same time all you on the East Coast get it), then driving 20 minutes to my mother's house to check out the board. Then I can watch it again at 10:00 at Mom's. In fact, I could watch it a 3rd time at 1:00 AM. Maybe I should just spend the night at her house! I don't work on Fridays so I could sleep in--then get up and get back on the board! So, is that pathetic? I'm not going to bother asking my family, I know their answers. So I'll just ask my buddies and fellow CI fans.
I remember when the "Who Shot J.R." episode of Dallas was on. The electricity on the west side of town went out just before the show started. People were jumping in their cars to drive over to friends or relatives on the east side of town to see the show. So maybe I'm not so pathetic after all--at least that's what I'll keep telling myself!
