I am trying to find this episode that i was watching then my freakin cable messed up... it was called "wrath" i think this guy was stalking Benson because he was upsest with her... killing ppl she was close to in lots of there cases, was it the devorceed guy who what wrongfull imprisoned??? i don't kno how it ends and it is buggin the dickens outta me. I love SVU by the way.... its so unreal to watch... so if anyone can give me a hint about this episode i'd love it.

To be very brief, Olivia ends up chasing a lead by herself, shoots the guy dead and then refuses to speak to Elliot. She cries in her dark apartment in the end. Welcome to the board! To answer your question, Benson figures out where he lives. When she gets there, she hears a gun shot and calls for back up assistance. The woman being held at gun point comes out and says that he is requesting Olivia to come inside. Olivia goes inside, though she is hesitant, and finds the guy with a gun pointed to some hostages head. He says that he killed those four people and pretty much did it for the same reason Huang had stated; he was saving them from the misery Olivia left them in. Olivia tells him that she will testify in open court that she is responsible for what Plummer had done. Plummer looks at her with a devilish look on his face and says that he is not going to court. He then puts the gun more firmly to the hostage's head and acts as if he is going to shoot her. Olivia tells him to put the gun down, he doesn't do it. He claims that he has no bullets in his gun, goes to squeeze the trigger and Olivia shoots him twice in the chest. The backup arrives shortly after she shoots him, checks Plummer's gun and notices that he had no bullets in it. Olivia has a saddened expression on her face, Elliot turns to her and requests that she go home and get some rest. Olivia says, "I've got to give my statement." Elliot then says, "Let me take you there." She turns to him and says, "You leave me alone" and turns to walk away. Elliot later goes to her apartment to check on her and she doesn't answer the phone or answer the door when he knocks on it. She sits on her couch and silently tears are shown falling from her face.

One small correction to Mary82's recap.
Olivia went to Plummer's work to get the list of his appointments for the day, which is the exact same thing Elliot did after they found the drugs in Plummer's apartment. She went to the apartment of the blonde woman where Plummer was scheduled to be at that time. That's where the shooting took place.
