Wow! What an episode. The last ten minutes were great. I just knew the Leslie chic had to be evil. Her comments at Bobby and Eames were very interesting as was Eames' final comment to Bobby. Looks like we're in for an interesting season.

i love it when he confronts these women! he just gets up in their faces and plays on their emotions. oh bobby. i noticed jim gaffigan again. for a comedian he sure likes to play the bad guy.
but i have to say, i have mixed feelings about the episode. i did like the plot even though it has been done before, but i felt the episode moved way too fast, especially the beginning. but i still enjoyed the epp, the ending threw me off! "its too late". nice one eames

I KNEW I recognized Leslie from somewhere! I really liked her on Angel.
As for the Epi:
Epic Win!
This is what we've been waiting for! This is what I've been hoping for! We got see our man SHINE again. Really stepping into the suspect, that until five minutes ago we didn't even think of as being a suspect! I think he's getting hotter with each passing episode. He's really getting back into vintage character here folks. I spotted multiple leans and piercing looks. The thing with the shoes when they went to get the kids selling sneakers was awesome. I think now that the writers are getting the hang of things, we're on track for a great season.
East: If I hadn't been sitting down already my legs would have given out.
That bitch was VICIOUS. Like seriously. And I had the most disturbing thought about that just now too... Leslie and Nicole... Yeah. Do Not Want. I could tell Goren was pissed about being played like that too.
What Eames said... Well, no partnership is perfect. I think it's really that she accepts her situation and is not going to worry about what other people think. She knows he's a great cop, gets the job done, & puts bad guys in jail, so after that it doesn't matter. If it happens, it happens. If not, then it's too late to worry about it now. Realistically though, I'm sure there's always something at the back of her mind worrying about what he's going to do next. She may block it out or ignore it most of the time, but it's always there.
And my one bit of evil for the night: Suffer Shippers for he called her Mrs!!!
Now for a bit of Motley Crue before bed. Yeah I'm old school.

Yeah, the comment... and my mom put a thumbs up or something. (maybe she didn't notice, lol) But I wasn't so sure over it. Yes, maybe we're taking it the wrong way... But no she didn't really have an expression on her face.

About the whole Mrs. Eames thing...
possible explainations:
1) Flubbed line that wasn't caught (or was caught but it was too late).
2) he called her Mrs. to make her less intimidating to the lady. Like perhaps saying mrs might imply that she has kids or something.

OK, I took notes again. My husband was watching the show with me, so I had to pretend I was making a grocery list.
1. How about Goren mentioning his size 13's. I think it is a salute to the fans, just like the tie bar was last episode. I hope the BTSOH is next. That is the Black Tee Shirt of Hottness for those that don't know.
2. He said "Sorry?" again this episode in a manner just like he had said in End Game. Someone said something shocking to him and then he asked it. Kinda of like a "what, what" for someone to repeat what they had said.
3. Did anyone notice that bald guy in the squad room handing Eames the note about another child dying. He is in every episode.
4. VDO looked better than he has in years. His hair was less gray. He still was sitting and leaning a lot. But he was moving around a lot too. Thinned down too. Suits looked sharp.
5. Poor Goren, another gal that he could be potentially attracted to, and she is a nut case. I thought Eames looked a little shocked when Goren said that Leslie gave him the note, as if maybe she didn't know that they were meeting (2 times no less).
6. What's with Eames comment at the end? She must be kidding, or mean it in a different way. The network likes to deceive us with trailers, now cliff hangers too.

Yes he needs to quit the cigs. Doesn't matter what age, weight or whatever. Quitting helps everything. It does looks like he's slowly dropping some of the weight off though. He still looks heavier, but not quite so puffy.

Remember Alex once said, "

You're stuck with me,
Buster". I don't think she meant it as a cut to Bobby because she turned around and made a point of looking him in the face after she said it. I liked that. A tiny bit of snark sneaking in there.
Besides, as a team, they can't be beat, and if FDA chick had done more thorough research, she would have thought twice about matching wits with them.

1. I think it's going to be more that just a Goren/Emes crisis. I think they're setting Bobby up for a major crisis at work. He doesn't get along well with the new captain, the Chief of Ds called him a wack job, his partner not really backing him up... My husband thinks they're planting the seeds of Goren leaving the show (Please God No!) I just think that with his Mom gone, his personal demons will come from his work "family" now.
2. In USAs run up to the new episode I re-watched Shibboleth, and watching Goren talk about the son, Kevin's belief that since his dad was a murderer, then it was just a matter of time before he became one to, was just eerie. I
really hope they don't take Bobby down that path. Especially since they never really said if Mark Ford Brady was his biological father or not. It would be easy for him to find out. (As a convicted sex offender Brady's DNA is in the system, and Goren's would be in the system for crime scene elimination purposes.)

well they would be fools to try and get rid of him.. as for him wanting to leave the show.. he said he wasn't going anywhere.. he has no plans to leave.. well as of the beginning of this season.. he was very excited about the move to USA.. and he alluded to the fact he wants to stay.

He's not going to leave the force. I think that he might have a big crisis, but it wont' be enough for him to totally leave the force. I think that he'll become stronger as a result of all of the angst he's been through.
I think that he's going to have to deal with some demons. But he's not going to get irrational. He thinks way to much for that, and I don't think that it is possible for him to stop thinking.
