Aaw Alex, your a great friend to us too giving us all the information and links, we wouldn't get anywhere without you and everyone else who posts this stuff!! I wish I could get here more often than I do, more like I did in times past. I was so addicted then family moved in; then out, now a new set has moved in and they pretty much take over the computer - yes I could stop them but it's easier to pick your arguments, save it for something really important.

I really miss all the online fun and chats we use to have and the ongoing sagas we shared.

Everyone here, with the exception of one, are a great bunch of people.

I feel for you. I can't stand for most people to even touch my computer - I would go crazy if someone actually commandeered it. Having relatives move in is so hard. Maybe you should set up a time sheet or something to determien who can use the computer at different times.

I totally agree with these posts. I am very new here (3 posts I think), but I feel after reading these that I am not alone in the world. I get a lot of grief from friends for my OCD-like behavior, but now I know there are others like me. Viva la MONK!!! (and this great message board).

I know I barely post here and I'm sorry I don't more. This might sound really crazy but, I get nervous of posting around everyone here. Stupid isn't it?! I even get worried of what people might think of my obsessive-like interest in Virtual Pets. Everybody seems so nice here, and I don't know why I get so worried over stupid things. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Virtual pets aren't stupid! I have some too! Don't worry about what other people think about you here. That's what this thread and pretty much this whole board is about, it's just about being yourself and making friends.

Ashley165- Monkitchi was made for me by a person named Muse on another forum I'm at. I love her artwork sytle. It combines Monk and my other interest of Virtual pets together.

JagFanatic and Monkchik693- You'd be surprised how many people aren't open about it. Then agian those people know how much money I've spent on them and how many I have. I have twenty-seven of those things. About five I spent about $180 on, I don't want to think how much money I've spent all together. I tend to get worried over alot of things so its sort of my nature. Its something I need to break myself of.

Is a virtual pet like a tamogochi? (i don't even know if i spelt that right) i wouldn't be ashamed of things i like and like hobbies.
It's those things that define you as a person. I think the only thing to be afraid of here is laughing fits Lol, then again they are good Lol!!

^^ Exactly! We don't judge people by their interests here. Some people on the forum tease me cause I'm pretty much obsessed with the little guy who's on my signature. But, we don't mean any harm. It's all in good fun. As long as no one gets their feelings hurt....
And yes, Pinkie's right, we do get into huge laughing fits!

I don't think you're crazy PockyGirl. My friend has a bunch of virtual pets she paid like over $200 for. So, trust me, you're probably the last person on my radar who's weird.

Here are some lyrics from "Basket Case." It's a very neurotic song - very Monkish, except for the line about being stoned. Though that does remind me of the infamous marijuana scene in "Mr. Monk Visits a Farm!"
