THE 3RD OF OCTOBER, 2007...WE REALLY HAVE NO DEFINETE IDEA AS TO WHETHER SEASON 6 WILL BE THE END...OR IF WE'LL GO ON FOR A FEW MORE. U.S.A. JUST ACQUIRED "LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT" FROM N.B.C.....AND IT IS GOING TO BE A U.S.A. PRODUCTION, DOING 22 EPISODES A YEAR. MONK HAS ALWAYS BEEN DOING (ONLY) 16. HONESTLY, EVERYONE I SPEAK WITH INVOLVED WITH THE SHOW, WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK FOR ANOTHER SEASON OR TWO....AND I MEAN EVERYONE. BUT AS OF RIGHT NOW, U.S.A. NETWORK HAS NOT YET PICKED US UP. THEY'VE PICKED UP OTHER ORIGINAL PROGRAMING FOR THE NETWORK....BUT HAVE YET TO GIVE US THE GO-AHEAD. WELL, MAYBE IT'S TIME FOR YOU GUYS, THE PEOPLE WHO REALLY DO CARE ABOUT THE SHOW SO MUCH, TO LET THE NETWORK KNOW HOW MUCH YOU APPRECIATE THIS SHOW. FROM A PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW, I LOVE BEING DR.KROGER, AND THINK THE EPISODES WE'VE BEEN DOING FOR SEASON 6 HAVE BEEN/AND CONTINUE TO BE SOME OF THE BEST WE'VE EVER DONE. BUT THIS IS NOT ACTUALLY A "BLOG-SUBJECT-FORUM;" THIS MIGHT BE A GOOD TIME TO LET "THE POWERS THAT BE" AT U.S.A. NETWORK KNOW HOW MUCH THIS SHOW MEANS TO YOU GUYS. WRITE TO U.S.A. NETWORK, E-MAIL THEM, CALL THEM. MAYBE THEY NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU GUYS...THE PEOPLE WE DO THESE SHOWS FOR....TO UNDERSTAND WHAT A REALLY-LOVED SHOW MONK HAS BECOME. If "LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT" is that good to be produced by U.S.A Network I think, (and I'm 100% sure what I writing here), MONK IS WORTH TO CONTINUE !! TWO MORE SEASONS PRODUCERS!! I'm going to Email them soon (I wish I could call to them but I can't...to far away )Yes, it's hard to imagine not doing new episodes of Monk.

Well. I'd really like to see few more seasons of MONK on TV. It's the greatest serie ever. I repeat - EVER! Thank you Mr. Kamel for letting us what's goin' on up there. Maybe I am not as big fan of MONK as for e.g. Raven or Bubba or Liv, but I am big fan... really big. So producers, please. Make at least one more season of this great and wonderful show. Please. I have no possibility to call the USANetwork. I can at the most send an e-mail... And I will.

Stanley, thank you so much for bringing this to our attention! I can hardly believe that there's some question about bringing Monk back for another season or two, it's the best show on TV.

I've emailed and tried to call them. I just now finished a snail mail letter to them.

Maybe we overloaded it. Here's their general number: 212-664-4444. They can probably switch you to the viewer hotline just as well. If there still is one.

I would really love to see Monk go on for another season, actually as many as they would give us.

It was great that Stanley Kamel took the time to post on the forum. I have sent an email and I will write by snail mail also. The show can't end after 6 seasons because Monk has not solved Trudy's murder yet and I don't think he is ready to be reinstated. There is more that the writers can do with Monk, Stot, Randy and of course Natalie and Julie. I stated it that in my email. My friday nights won't be the same without Monk.

Yeah, it's not right to end this show without tying up all these loose ends. There are so many more stories that need to be done here. This cannot be the end! How rude!

I am emailing them right now. USA Network has already renewed "Burn Notice" for next season and "Psych". I can't understand why Monk hasn't. Especially, Monk. Monk is the highest rated USA Network scripted show on its network. Losing it; would be pitiful. Thanks, Stanley for the heads up.

Maybe MONK fans completely destroyed the USA Network automated phone service system with their simultaneous calls filled with passion for their show MONK, and now basic cable stations around the world fear a similar fate! The 11 O'clock news will surely cover the catastrophe!

I don't think USA will drop Monk! Monk is their pride and joy as it appears! It's an outstanding show, and I don't think they have the incompetence to drop it, knowing they'll anger a lot of people.

At least... I hope they know.
