Well I don't agree with why Elliot is home in the first place. At least from what I have seen. I know he is a family man, but going home b/c your estranged wife is pregnant with your child from what seemed to be kind of like a one-night stand doesn't seem to be the answer. It seems like the responsible thing for him to do right now. I think it's completely unfair that we never really saw any type of reconciliation b/w him and Kathy, and I HATE the way she just showed up to the squad to tell him the way she did. She specifically said that she wanted him to come home for her, not the kids. I understand it's b/c she's pregnant, but even so, we should have been able to see more of them working something out. But whatever to that b/c it is what it is and I don't think we'll get much now on that situation. That all being said, yes I think Elliot is a family man and his kids are what is truly important to him. I think that's kind of evident in what he said to Casey about the baby when she went to his house.

I still want E/O. I do! It's just really hard to hang on to sometimes w/ the way the writing has been over the past two seasons practically. I think it's confusing what they've done w/ Elliot's character and his relationship with Kathy. But again, that is what it is and maybe we'll see some kind of development w/ that situation. Whether he's home for good or things don't work out, I'm hoping we'll get something. Also, I really think that there is something seriously wrong w/ Olivia. The writers have practically run her character into the ground. What we've been seeing of her lately (over the past two seasons) just doesn't flow w/ the Olivia we've known from seasons 1-6. I think it's sad. And I think it's unfair to we, the viewers, to see the decline in a character we've loved since day one. Not only do I think it's unfair to us, but to Mariska as well. Olivia was a strong role model to people and now she's just kind of all over the place. Personally I don't like it.

Yes I realize that we are only in the beginning of season 9 and maybe things will change down the line, but right now, with the way things are and have been, it's hard for this shipper to hang onto to those shipper dreams. Will I still look for E/O moments? Sure. Absolutely. But I think they need to be more genuine and not centered around injuries or pregnancies.

To mrslee, sorry about the smackdown comment. I think I was just anticipating that Scar would say something more to the razor comment than anything else. And she did. So to Scar, it's not that I don't appreciate dark humor, but I thought that particular comment seemed kind of harsh. Maybe it hit a nerve? I don't know. Whatever. You are so dead on! I love that they (at least for awhile) tried to make El and Liv a different kind of relationship. And I think that they are backing off of the sexually tense Eo for a spell, but I'm interested to see if this is just a ploy for a really sweet twist. I know not everybody will agree or like if they do allow the kiss to eventually happen, but I all for it.

everyone on the show have diffrent relationships that sometimes fall in with other characters but other characters i wish they dig deeper into

Well lovely lady, I am so sorry that my old black man dog comment offended you. I truely sincerely am. It was honestly made in good fun and if you knew my dog- I swear you'd be laughing. But you can look at it through another light. My step mother's bird reminds me of an old cranky polish bubba who's smoked too many cigarettes and likes her sausages with an extra special yellow mustard. And my friend Jason's dog is known for her know-it-all Bossy Jewish attitude. I'm both Polish and tend to be Jewish (cough- I don't practice). Feel free to make a dig if it will help ease the friction. But really, it's kind of a thing with a few of my peeps to compare our animals to people. None of it is meant to be racist, just silly fun. On a lighter note. I am going to stay positive about this EO thing. I mean, I know that the possiblities are slim, and so far this season has gone against every EO moment in the book, but could it be possible that the writer's are using these EO fake outs as way to surprise us? I mean it could right? RIGHT?! Oh god please let it be a twist! Let the kathy pregnant thing be the twist of the Law and Order Century!!! I think I will leave the tenth season with a bad taste in my mouth if it isn't. It will be like "Oh.....I feel robbed...shattered...raped." No, but I have a new idea in the making. I really need to read some of the fics that I'm behind on. Mrslee- yours is one of them. I'm so bad at the reading part of fanfiction. For some reason I can justistify writing it, because it occassionally inspires me to write things for pay related projects. But reading it makes me feel guilty. Mostly, because instead of just reading a chapter or two and then taking a break- I'll spend the whole day reading. And then I always feel like I should be reading career related things when I'm doing it, which ultimately makes me feel like a lazy uninformed actor. And...well...that's one thing you cannot be in my choice of living. People if you're gonna be an actor- you have to read read read and read some more. If anyone ever wants some amazing reading suggestions- I've got great recommendations...if you want to learn more about acting and plays and what nots.....which none of you probably do...but if so, just PM me. I love talking about books and plays. Ah- ANYWAY--- I just need to learn how to prioritize my time. AND THIS POST! I'm so Off Topic.

We do need some good EO though. I watched "Blinded" again just to make sure I wasn't just missing the EO irrationally, because I've been a bit dramatic this week, but...AH- it's just not there.
