Well, as much as I'd love to work with SVU people, I think my style may cramp the "Drama" part of the show. Doves and Robin Williams ass...that's priceless, but I think Wolf would fire me. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind selling them a few one liners.

OH and "Up in the air"---is the quote of the season. Kathy didn't get a kiss, But will LIV? Hm? Hm? Come on SVU, make my day! I want my EO fantasy, like pronto!!!!!

Nah. You'd lighten it up a bit and give us all EOness...We need a shipper out there (one with a great sense of humor to balance the drama) to look out for us. Although, I do have to admit, the whole RW and doves thing would probably be a tough sell to DW. LOL

I know, right? The day we get some real EO is the day you will see the boards light up like a Christmas tree. Can you imagine? The boards will be crazy!! Bring it on, I say. Bring it on.

yea did anyone else find this eppy oddly close to Fault? or is it just me? hmmmm idk...

I have a few buds who've mentioned that they thought it was similar to 'Fault.' But to me, 'Fault' was about Liv and El both in turn being put through the ringer on the possibility of losing the other. I think it brought up emotions that they refused to examine further except that they knew they didn't want to think of life without the other and had a glimmering of how deep their need for each other truly was. Of course, after that they shoved it to some remote corner of their minds and refused to deal with it. ::sigh::

This episode I think will be more Stabler-centered. He's the one Rook is focused on. And El is the one who has to come back to these feelings of possibly losing Liv. I don't know if Liv will experience it in quite the same way as she did in 'Fault.' Unless while she's being held by Rook she worries that maybe Rook might kill El and leave her alive to face life without him. But I doubt - even if her character might have these motivations/thoughts - that they'll take the time to show them.

So, that's the similarity I find. El facing the loss of Liv again and having to go through a harrowing emotional experience concerning her. And since now they have two more years of growing closer to each other under their belts, it might add a slightly different dynamic to it in both of their eyes.

Btw, I wonder how he actually saves her. That is one thing I'm definitely looking forward to finding out on Tuesday.

That summary sucked, but the story is much better, trust. I've been writting a looonnnggg time lol.

He screamed "THANK YOU, THANK YOU" when they found him not guilty... but what can liv and elliot do to interfer with the legal system... Idk

I just love how Elliot looks at her in the end. If he looked at Munch or Fin like that (like some non shippers excuse would be) I would have some serious questions.

I have to be honest when I say that I absolutely loved the way El looked at her as he was untying her. Liv was trying to give an explanation because she thought he was disappointed, but the look on El's face said, "I don't care about that"... I was moved... I am just sick about how much I liked El's reaction to the whole thing last night. If ever I were to change ships, El would be the person to convince me to do it - not that I ever would mind you.

I didn't get that in last night's episode but I agree that they have been trying to mention it as much as they can. It's as if they're trying to convince us (or themselves) that they did the right thing with pushing him back in his home situation. Can they move away from it? I can only hope so. Then again, with the corner they have written him into, it's between the newborn sleepless crisis or Kathleen's teenage drama.

If they keep it up like that, they should just change their prologue to say "In the criminal justice system, sexually based offenses are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit. There are the Days of the Stablers' lives their stories."

Oh, that's right. I guess I forgot about that part. Well, at least we don't have to actually watch him at home with Kathy dealing with a wailing infant, and having discussions as to whose turn it is to sleep, right?

In "Undercover," after watching it a second time, is it me or the way he told Olivia that he's "avoiding diaper duty" almost sounds like he's giving her an excuse to be at work with her, instead of at home? Is it really such a coincidence that the night he decides to avoid changing diapers is the same night that his partner would most likely be at work after a harrowing undercover experience?

Wow, I never been on tthis thread before, I feel a little like a fish out of water...

Okay, I have to say this...I am not a E/O shippers, I love the special bond they have as friends, even when going through tough times. . However, I always did believe underneath it all they had feelings for each that was deeper than hteir intense friendship, when I watched Authority again something confirmed that for me.

Elliot saying to Merritt" It isn't about authority, it isn't about sheep, you just want me to suffer like you suffered." He did not talk abut Olivia suffering, he talked about his suffering. To me that is him equating his pain with a man who lost his wife and son. That was deep.

I hope you understand, I must continue to ship Delivia, for I think he is so good for Olivia. But if that can't happen for me, i hope it happens for you.

See I disected that part as Elliot being in pain if he had to be responsible for Olivia's pain. It's like on 'Pirates of the Caribbean 2' when the dude on the ship was going to hit Will for droping the cannon ball. Instead of the dude hiting him, his dad stepped in because he knew the dude was going to hurt him even worse. But his dad still felt bad because he hurt his own son. LOL! Okay it made sense in my head but...whatever.

I totally understand you. I love Delivia, and I want Vincent back pronto. However, I have always felt that EO argued so much because they didn't understand what was going on between them. It's deeper than either realizes, and it should stay buried and remain sacred. But, I would not be opposed to one night of passion or even a kiss, straddle, something - but how can this be written w/o destroying the integrity of both characters? I don't think there is a way to pull this off.

Ok... I gotta go find that Delivia thread and get my mind right...

Well, for starters, they can make Elliot realize that he can be a good dad without being married. He can realize he's not completely happy with Kathy. And that can end.

Then they can keep giving us subtle EO moments until the last episode when they finally give us (or suggest, imply, hint -- I'm not picky!) that "one night of passion, or even a kiss, straddle, something" -- AHHHHH - My heart just exploded at the thought.

That way, millions of fans are satisfied (FINALLY) - and we don't have watch them figure out the awkward details of a post-moment-of-passion partnership.

And everyone lived happily ever after. cool.gif
