Okay, so I think the reason for mary's leaving has to do with a post on the EK thread. Ahem- Which is one HUGE reason why I NEVER go on there. BUT- I did...only to find out what mary is in a hissy about. And NOW....I WANT TO VOMIT!!!! Dudes...EK...., I get it, you have an opinion and it's aloud to be different from mine, BUT BARF! GAG reflex is sensitive! ack!
Somebody said some thing about fans being upset about breaking up a 20 year marriage.
And then somebody said something about kissing and I had to leave.
But I did find out -I think- why the Mary is upset. And although I have many many MANY opinions on the matter, I think I'm gonna keep most of them to myself, because I will definitely hurt feelings. I'm much too blunt for beating around the bush. But I will say this. Mary, I don't know the whole story, and I agree with everything that you said, but your life will be much happier when you learn how to let retarded comments slide off of you like a funny piece of fatty fat bacon. You're smarter than your retaliators. Pull a Benson and give them ye' old mind ***K. And then STOP going to the EK board if it makes you upset!
We got rid of the EK/EO discussion thread because nobody could get along. That was your idea! SO, there's no reason to go over there, because technically....it's not a thread for EO/EK debate!
Next- This is to everyone, because it's not just Mary. If you know you get easily offended and angry- don't aggravate yourself by going on a thread that will upset you.
And AND- if I find out that you double crossing EO/EK people are only posting to piss people off, I will get mean. Because that's not cool. And honestly, I kind of feel like saying you are on both sides is a little weak minded. Being open minded is one thing. Being a push over and a person that can't make decisions is cheap. Your cheating yourself. Stop that! I hate seeing people cheat themselves out of a declarative thought. (notice I didn't say that I hate- the person!!!!) There are ways to pick sides and keep an open mind. Don't say you're one thing just to be somebody's friend. That's silly! I'm friends with a lot of people I don't agree with. Starting with EK shippers and ending with George Bush supporters...are there any of those even left? LOL! Point is- start thinking for yourself ladies! TV discussion boards is just for fun but it's good practice for real life issues and debates. Those are things you will do A LOT of - I hope- as an adult. And if you don't, then your conversation is going to be limited and honestly ...dull.
Some of you may hate politics right now, but when you get older, it becomes necessary to know about politics. At least it should be necessary. And I wish that I would have paid more attention to politics when I was in High School, because I would have a better understanding for what is happening now. This is OT, but it's important- what is going on in America right now is history making. High school peeps-- I know you can't vote---but force yourself to take interest in it- you will not regret that when you are older! You will, however, regret not paying attention and not having an opinion!
ANYWAYYYYY!!! SO OT! OH MY GOD!
As far as this whole EO Ek DO shipper hoe bag'n debate fight argument goes--- I have to point out a few things. One, if anyone has a good solid survey of EO Ek, please drop it my way, I'd love to see it. I know Mariska has something about it on her site and EO wins in that one. TWO, Whoever said viewers don't like to see their hero's get divorced and make it with their co-workers, obviously doesn't watch much TV. "Weeds", "Lost", "Desperate House Wives"(hate that show), "Dexter", "Sex in the City", "ER", "Grey's Anatomy" (HAAAAATE THAT FREAK'N Show!), "My Name is Earl", "Scrubs", "The L Word", "The Office", "Six Feet Under", "X-Files", "Get Smart", "Moon Lighting", "Psyc", "Who's the Boss", ETC!
All of these and I'm sure many many many MANY more all had marital break ups and/or professional romances and/or BOTH. You can't tell me that some gay survey told the writer's to reunite Elliot and Kathy. And if it did- I want to see the proof, and I want to see it in far more than just bad script writing!!!!!
