I just wanted to let my fellow shippers know that I will not be posting any more fan fiction on this board and I may not be apart of the discussions as much if at all. This board has gotten way to negative and I am not going to condone the rude and dissrespectable actions being taken by certain board members. The closing of the thread I made about 'playing nice' was the last straw for me. It just showed me that actions are being taken against people trying to help the board but people that are poisining it are free to do what they want. I just can't suport that. I agree but I use to like coming on this board and not having to read fight after fight after fight. The threads are way off topic and the admin is doing nothing to stop it. I'm glad your staying. I know there are a lot of negative things on this board, and how E/K and E/O can't get along and all the other stuff, but we all have our own opinions, and this board let's us express them. Wow! Thanks you guys. I've been working on empty for so long that when that idea came to me it spilled out like a fountain. It was nice. I was starting to lose EO hope. Fanfic makes my day. I still need to read "Cruis'n" and "Bring it on" I read the first chapters and LOVED them both! Then I petered out, not because I wasn't thoughly enjoying myself with the read, but I've had a lot of work related reading to do lately. So I'm really behind on my Fanfic reads.

I don't know if it's any consolation, here in Australia we had (and still have) this drama (it's a hospital drama, very much like ER) where everyone wanted the two main characters to get together. Seven years it went back and forth and the actors kept coming out and saying it would wreck the show, it'd jump the shark, this and that. BUT, they got together. Surprised the heck out of everyone, but it was most welcome and fantastic. Ratings shot up, storylines remained great quality. I still think it'll happen. If the writers know what's good for them.

Yeah, I can totally see why Mar and Chris would say certain things in articles and interviews to keep people guessing. We also don't know what they were told to say. I'm sure that who ever invited this journalist onto the set let the actors know well before hand and it wouldn't surprise me if they were told by higher ups to hinder away from the EO rumors. Becasue Mar said somethign almost completely opposite on the SVU blog AND on the today show interview! So ....there mamma bear!

I love Chris' reply to the quesiton though, "Tune in for a very SPECIAL svu." His humor is always right up my alley. I love the short almost "Poking fun at" replies on his website. He hehehehe. Laughy laughy.

As for EO- I'm still hanging on for dear life. And if they do it the right way, it won't be jumping the shark. Hey you know what is jumping the shark though????? Stabler baby number 5! I agree with what you said. As if Chris and Mariska are going to say it's going to happen. How would you keep the audience guessing? If they told us "Elliot and Olivia will get together" it'd be like spoiling the end of a really fantastic book.

Let me explain. I love reading, I'm doing it right now. Talented! Anyway, say you're reading a book where the ending is completely unknown. All you know is that there's another two books (or two seasons in this case) and nobody knows for sure what's going to happen. If Mariska and Chris come out and say "EO is going to happen", everything in between no longer matters, cause you know the ending will be good. Who cares that there's a fifth kid? Who cares that this or that happens? The writers won't have the option of ending season 10 episodes with a cliffhanger cause the ending's already been spoilt. If Elliot and Olivia are yet to get together, how can they end an episode towards the end of the season with a possible death if Elliot and Olivia still need to get together?

So, to keep us guessing and to keep us interested, they pull us back and forth. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen, but don't take what the actors say about possible storylines if it's going to spoil the most asked about aspect of the show. They won't tell you the truth until it happens. It's that whole "if I tell you, I'll have to kill you". They been asked the same questions for the past nine years and every year the answers have changed. Inconsistency is the third sign of a lie.

So we hold out hope. There's too much there to ignore it completely. But they're going to have to work some magic to get round this 20 kid barrier.

Thanks for the article Scar. After reading it, the article, to me, didn't say anything new. Mariska and Chris have both mentioned that there characters have sexual chemestry but they have also said that nothing will happen about that tension right now because then it would be the end of the show. Mariska did say they wouldn't have sex. She never said anything about not kissin'. LOL! But we have to understand that if something will happen between the two there is no way Dick Wolf would be happy about them spilling the beans too soon. It would ruin the suprise. I think they are answering how they think their characters may or may not do. It's specualtion on their part. I'm sure they have no idea what season 10 will bring. But...we will just have to wait and see. I think the love connection will happen but not until the very end. What can I say? I am open minded when it comes to Benson/Stabler lovin'.

The girl who sent me this is an old college buddy of mine who hates the idea of EO. She likes that there is a male/female relationship on TV that isn't romanitc. I say save it for CSI. I need me so EO love'n. I mean, Of course they aren't going to show sex. I'm not even sure I personally would want them to hint at it. It would have to be something very subtle. Like a kiss and then ending credits. Next week, some good ol' EO flirty tension. And then ike literally weeks later. They're shown leaving Liv's apartment together. That's a hint, but it's not remotely graphic, and I say they stay away from imagray, since this is a sex crimes show and they can't be going from romantic sex to scary criminal sex. That could get awkward. For me any way.
