That's because Kathy has always been jealous or envious of Elliot's Relationship with Olivia, and I don't think Elliot ever gave her a reason not to be. Hm why is that you say? Oh I don't know, is it because her accusations hold some truth to them? Maybe. I mean, sure he's said in a few episodes that there is nothing between Olivia and himself, but then when it's time to choose family over job, he always goes to work. He could have cut back on hours when things at home got rough, but he never did and still doesn't ("Paternity" showed us that.)

But Paternity also showed us a turning point in the KO relationship. I think Kathy could finally end those suspitions after going through labor with Olivia. Which is why the EO is so unfizzy now. It's like, well wtf, if kathy can't be jealous about it anymore, than maybe it's done....AHHHHH- Neal Bear you are not allowed to make it done. Good god! I can't handle it. I make myself upset now.

Season 1 has some of the best EO in it. El and Liv flirt non-stop in season 1. I think it's because Chris and Mar were young and still figuring out the characters, but I don't give a rats poop. The EO is sizzl'n

And you wanna know why? Because the writers are IDIOTS. And also due to the fact that they have suddenly downgraded into butt picking monkeys and chimps.

I think that her first grudge was that Hendricks has different views on pscitzophrenia. Olivia hates that people like Hendricks take in people with serious mental illness and then turn the patients to the streets again without supervision. They are basically on opposite ends of this issue. Hendricks works for a flawed system and Olivia cleans up the mess. That's how she said she sees it in the episode about the pscitzophrenic woman. Also, Olivia feels like Hendricks comes off as "too good to be a cop", or at least did maybe at one point in her life. That's what Olivia says about her. So maybe they had a little tiff in school about Hendricks quitting the force to go against everything they were learning. That's what I got from it. And then when Elliot started siding with her, the anger boiled up into various shades of jealousy. Jealousy that he liked this woman that she disagreed with, jealousy that he was flirting with another woman at work and in front of her, and possibly anger that he was ignoring her gut reactions (her cop instincts if you will) for the Horse Hockey! evaluations (at least according to Lic) Hendricks was giving through Pshyc evaluation.

When you get down to the heart of that episode, it's really about the two different views of pscitzophrenia. The case is won by using both tactics too. Liv finds the video tape and Rebecca/Elliot get the blood sample using modern medical facts, etc.

The added jealous EO is just a bonus, but I think the meat of that episode is about the views of Hendricks vs. Benson.

*umph* hold it back....*umph* hold...it...back....Sorry, I just threw up in my mouth. I saw the E/K banner you have and it's just a bodily reaction. You confuse me girl. On one hand, underneath your banners you say you are an E/O and G/E shipper but right above it you have an E/K banner. Sorry...I just can't see anyone being both. Either you are for E/O or you are for E/K. The reason I can't seem to grasp anyone being both is because Elliot, in order to be with Olivia, would have to leave his wife, Kathy. It seems impossible to be both. Maybe I am just looking at it too 'black and white-ish' but...I'm not liking it....

I don't want to offend anyone and if I say something like 'Kathy is a two-bit hoe who doesn't deserve Elliot' I want to know I am not going to offend her in this thread.
