yeah, Legal cheating. It's when you're in a situation wher obligation makes it ok to cheat on your significant other. It's mainly in the field of acting, but there's also mistletoe at christmas!

I just thought I'd share this with you guys. It's probably been posted before, but I know we have a lot of EO newbies, so I'll post it again. This was an interview with MH and Neal Baer. When non-shippers say that Elliot and Olivia are just partners and therefore have nothing to do with each other outside of work, I simply pull this up and smile.

Here's why. Mariska Hargitay says that:

Elliot is everything that Olivia has. He is her life. He is her stability. He is her family

I think Stability is the important word there, because if you remember, Kathy said that Olivia gave Elliot stability as well. I really love that.

And if you read the rest of the interview, Baer says "never say never" when talking about EO. Just thought I'd share it.

That has to be an old interview. They talked about the fact that Mariska hasn't worked with Adam Beach before, the fact that Olivia will get a start on her finding her father and that Lake will be in the season finaly of season 8. I just love how the writers and the actors beat around the bush when it comes to El/Liv will they won't they crap. I wish they would just say they will never get together so we can all move on. Thanks for the link though. It was fun to read.

I hate when non-shipper say that. It bugs the crap out of me. How can they not see it? Obvisouly they have something outside of work. We saw that in season 1 when they would go out for lunch or when they would pick eachother up. Elliot is all Olivia has right now. And as of right now since Paternity aired, Olivia is Elliot's stability, because if it wasn't for her, I dont know how Eli would be right now. When she left for Oregon, he was the one that didn't want to work with anyone else. Call him stubborn? Okay. I would say that all he did was want Olivia around and he wanted her presents. Yeah, it's a very old article, I think I said that at the beginning. It's been around for maybe a year? But the main principles of what she's saying however, are still very true. I've always adored it. And I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. And I have to say that if I'm left with memories of a great partnership and an uncomparable closeness between El and Liv (and with the crappy quality of writing at the moment) I would rather them not get together. I would always prefer my own imagination as to what could have been rather than bad quality scripts surrounding an EO storyline. Cause let's face it, our imaginations are pretty damn good.

They will never, ever, explicitly say that EO won't/will happen. There are too many people who watch the show solely for the EO'ness. If Neal Baer were to come out tomorrow and say "EO definitely won't happen. Ever" how would you feel? Would you still watch the show as intently? I know I'd watch it, but it wouldn't be like I'd be upset if I missed an episode...or two...or three. I do know that I wouldn't watch the repeats and I definitely wouldn't enjoy it as much. Maybe I'm a sucker for punishment and torture, cause I'd much rather them not say anything and therefore allow me to see the EO in everything and anything. Take for example, last night I was watching Sacrifice (season 3) and Elliot says to Olivia "We know where his parent's are staying, let's go alone". Talk about teehee! Lol. Of course nothing happened, but the way he said it was so damn sexy! Ok, done!
