Is there a proper goodbye between Olivia and Elliot before she leaves? Or does she even tell him? I'm too anxious to wait!

Hmm... Um... no... Last I remember was... Elliot and Olivia had this spat over the error of their job at Fault eppy... then, that's it... she went straight to her boss and requested for a new partner... and there was no 'goodbye' between them. In fact, Elliot was surprised when he was being accompanied by this new guy called... um... (checking the imdb, lol) Det. Blaine at 'Fat' eppy.

After the stand-off with Gitano and finding the kidnapped girl, they had a conversation outside her hospital room:

Elliot: If that sniper hadn't beaten you to it, I knew you would've taken that shot, Olivia.
Olivia: No, I wouldn't have. Did you really expect me to? Did you really expect me to cause your death?
E: I don't know. I couldn't get that boy out of my head.
O: What about your kids? What about me?
E: Look, you and I both chose each other over the job. Can't let that happen again. Otherwise, can't be partners.
O: I can't believe you're saying that!
E: Olivia, you and this job are about all I've got anymore. I don't want to wreck that. I couldn't take it.

After this scene, she went to Cragen's office and asked for a new partner. Next episode is "Fat" where they have a conversation in the locker room while he's changing his shirt:

O: I liked that shirt.
E: What are you doing here?
O: I heard you had a fight with Blaine.
E: What can I say, he's a prick. (pause) Why didn't you tell me?
O: I'm sorry. I should have told you.
E: Then, why didn't you?
O: It's..just too complicated.
E: Oh.
O: Elliot, we've been partners for longer than everyone else here. We needed a change.
E: (pause) Thanks for coming.

*dies* That's heartbreaking! I can tell this relationship isn't going to be very healthy for me! LOL So I read somewhere when Liv leaves, then the next detective he gets he pins to a car and makes out with her? WTF? THAT had to be tough to see in real time! I can just skip those ep's and go on my merry E/O way.

I try to avoid watching the reruns of that episode- "Underbelly" with the scene that must not be named or any other episode with Dani B(L)eck. But suffice it to say that he didn't actually pin her to a car, but she was standing by the passenger door of his vehicle and .... the director should have yelled "Cut!" and demanded to scrap the scene (or at least replaced said female character involved). Their phones, however, kept ringing which prevented them from doing anything more.

In another scene, as she was interviewing a victim with Sister Peg, she noticed Stabler watching her by the glass window of the door. She excused herself, stepped out the door, and admonished him saying something along these lines "Don't you think I can do my job? I don't need you watching over me! I'm not your precious Olivia!" While she was ranting, he only kept nodding and saying, "I know that... I know that too."

Ugh, so he was checkin her out basically? GRR. I need to aviod those eps like the plague. Are there any actually good episodes with Dani that I should check out? Or am I not missing anything?

BTW, I just ordered Season One on Netflix and should be here Friday! Suuuuper stoked!

Hold your fire. No, he definitely was Not checking her out. I made a mistake by saying that she was interviewing the kid with Sister Peg. He was only looking through the window to get her attention because Sister Peg came by to help them with the placement of the kid.

As for good episodes with her in it? I can't really be objective about that. Sorry. However, don't miss "Infiltrated" which is basically what Benson's been doing while undercover in Oregon.

Oh, and in "Underbelly," this was also the episode where Benson showed up at the 1-6 looking for Stabler but she finds Beck instead on her desk. She asks her where Detective Stabler is and Beck tells her that he's in interrogation and asks if she can help. Benson says no, and asks if the Captain is in his office. She said sure. Benson says thanks, then heads to the Cap's office. Cragen seems surprised 'cause apparently 1PP didn't tell him that she's back for about a week already. She says it's okay and that she's not ready to come back yet. She turns around to look through his window blinds and sees Stabler standing behind Beck's desk. She asks him how they're doing referring to Stabler and Beck. He says it was a rough start but it's okay now. She sees Stabler sort of rubbing Beck's leg, being touchy-feely. On her reflection on the glass window, Benson has this look on her face that's open to interpretation, which others consider as jealousy. She turns around, tells the captain that she's not ready to come back and heads toward the side door of his office. He asks her if she's not going to talk to Stabler. She says that it's okay, she'll catch up with him later. She also asks him not to tell Stabler that she was there. Then Cragen nods as she leaves and looks through his window to the two detectives.

Great description of the scene!

She was totally hurt by what she saw. There's no other way to see it. You could literally hear her heart break. I both hated and loved that scene at the same time. I've always wondered what would have happened if MH hadn't gone on maternity leave.

Would that mean no Beck and no Porter? No leaving and swapping partners? I wonder if their relationship would have gotten so tense.....

AH! Just thinking about any of that gives me too many chills. You know what though, I just read some articles on Chris Meloni's webpage and he is SUCH a sad sack out EO! If we don't get EO I'm going to partically blame him. He totally kills it in those articles.

MH used to be like that, and then she changed her tune and now she doesn't really say anything. Lol. But they used to both be very vocal about EO not happening. Now, they've been asked so many times, they just kind of frown and say "we're not sure". Lol. Something like that.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks for the clarification. Underbelly sounds absolutely wretching too! So has it always kind of been about Olivia's feelings towards Elliot? From my perception (and the few eps I've seen...) it seems more stronger on Olivia's end then on Elliot's. Yes, that pesky wife does get in the way, but the jealousy seems to always end up on Olivia. With exception to the ep with Dean Cain where Elliot gets that squeaky jealous "okay" when Olivia says he'll call.

It's like they both have feelings for one another, much more than friendship allows, but don't want to risk what they have right now and ruin their partnership. Is that about right?

Yeah, we've always found that it's a little more one-sided. But you have to remember that Elliot's been married and 'in love' with one woman for twenty years. Feeling something else for another woman would also be accompanied by serious catholic (and other sorts of) guilt. Elliot's always been a very physical character; you can see how he feels about people in the way his body responds to them (that doesn't make sense...let me explain). He hates perps, so he bashes them. He loves his kids, so he's always huggy. His stance always gives away his feelings. It's hard to describe and today, unfortunately, I'm not at my most articulate.

And yes, what they have to risk is a lot. Including the job. And they're both uncertain as to where a relationship will lead, so that would act as an obstacle as well. Unfortunately the writers have stopped writing towards that 'uncertain' angle, so it's gotten boring. BOOORING. Lol! That's what fanfiction is for.

And you're not being annoying. We're EO shippers; we need to stick together. Particularly with the drought at the moment.

Amen to the BORING part. LOL! Season 9 has sucked and so did half of season 8 when the stupid writers wrote Elliot going back home. I think that might be part of the reason why I am not trippen because the show has not come out with new episodes. Season 9 has sucked and sucky it will continue to be, I predict.

Secondly, I just watched the episode about the girl who attempts to commit suicide while she's pregnant and then we find out that she's rapping rich men for sperm. There isn't really any EO, but there is some FM. Fin and Munch.
I have to bring it up because I'm still laughing.

So Fin and Munch go toe Warner to find out how this girl is getting the man to become erect while they are unconcsious and she shows....LOL- god I'm laugh so hard I can barely type the thought....sigh-- She shows them this HUGE vibrator like prob that electrifies the a person anally and then causes a man to ejaculate. And the reaction and facial expressions on Fin and Munch's face- is HYSTARICAL!!! Like I can't ever describe the hilarity of it all. Priceless. It's only a short scene, but there's a better scene with El and Liv at a bar. She's 'Donna' he's 'Greg' and she asks "how are you" and he smiles at her all sexily and says "better now". It's so hot.

I remember when I first saw that scene I hadn't scene the episode and I was watching an EO video on youtube and I nearly chocked on my drink when I saw them pretending to be married. I was like when did this happen, mind you this happened quite a long time ago, now I've seen that episode so many time.

I can't find any videos of Risk as excerpts, but you can find a lot of EO videos where those scenes are used. I don't know any off the top of my head, but you don't have to look very hard. Try the video thread and see if anything comes up.

It's from Hooked (which was on yesterday) and there's that awesome scene between Elliot and Olivia in the locker room while Elliot's lifting weights. Elliot's lifting such heavy weights he almost passes out and Olivia comes in concerned he's going to drop it on his head. It's a sweet scene between them and a half-naked Elliot doesn't hurt either.

I've seen in some videos this scene where Elliot and Olivia are at the squad room and she runs her hands down his arms, grabs his wrists and brings them up between their bodies. That sounds so much more sexual than I think it is lol, but which episode is that from? It looks like they're reinacting a scene or something.

If you want another reconstruction of a crime scene, look at Privilege from season 4. They try and reconstruct a woman falling off a balcony, and Olivia pretends to be the perp and Elliot the victim. She leans up against him as she 'pushes'. It's cute.
