It's so funny, every two pages of this thread, we bring up the fact that season 7/8 was full of E/O. Like I said before, it's the writer's way of dragging us along until the end. If you want, I can copy and paste my explanation?

I FINALLY SAW THIS!!!!!! Sorry, I am so freakin' excited!!! I fell asleep last night when "Pretend" came on, since I didn't really like it the 1st time around, and woke up to use the restroom, came back and the commercial was on!!!! So I like wicked quick DVR'd it and then watched it like 7 more times, grinning like a fool too while I was watching it over and over. Only downfall, now I have an episode I don't necessarily want on DVR. I've got "Impulsive" since that's the one that was on when they played it that time.

Ok somebody just posted the air date for "Blinded" and I freaked out! I had to come straight to the EO page, as to not say something incriminating about my EO obsession in front of heartless eyes!! Yeay! Blinded is on Nov 13!

I think the attack on Olivia will be on the episode "Svengali." Not to let the rain fall on your EO parade and burst the balloons, but I thought in Svengali, according to spoilers and rumors, she's going to tell Elliot that she's all right and that Porter's the one who's going to check on her. Don't get me wrong, I'm playing the drums in the EO parade too.

Yeah, Svengali is where Liv gets attacked. And I heard that about El/Liv/Porter too. Sad times.

I'm down with some Dean as long as Elliot starts to get jealous. In fact I think Dean woudl be a good practice boyfriend for her. YOu know get out all the kinks and then BAM- they both decide while in false bliss that they are not ment for hta path but are truely meant for .....EOOOOOOOOOO. Ok I'm being relaly silly. Bean/Portia? Love it! Dean is a nice looking man. He and Elliot in that restaurant scene --MMMM! Mmm Mmmm Mmmm! That was hot. The tension was high, the hair was just right. All that needed to be added was a "Whoops....my shirt fell off" Meloni moment and that may have made up for the fact that they haven't given us ANY EO DO EK HD TV DVD CaseyWarner lean backs.......WHAT?

I will add though- and this is mainly for Mary, who was hanker'n for an arm nudge---We got an arm touch/nudge last night during the diner scene! YEE HAW! My husband wanted to kill me because I rewound it twice just to bask in the tiny hint of physical EO contact. HEY- Lay off people- I'm dieing HERE! You gotta take what they give yeah.

Ahem...anyway... Andrea I'm rooting for your small Bean moment, but in the mean time I could seriously use some EO cradeling. A little Liv taking care of the El moment. Yeah, that doesn't happen often. Usually they just talk it out and pretend that they touched each other. Not any more home fries!

I hate to be the barrer of bad news but we are going to have to be content with fan fiction and looks because Dick Wolf had stated that Elliot and Olivia will not be able to be partners if they do get together so it won't happen till the end. true, like you said, Mary82. once, there was a cop show series... they were also male-female partners... they were almost as close as stabler and benson. the show lasted 12 years... at the end, these great partners officially got together, then the show ended. that was so sad. its been my favorite! right now, i dont want stabler kneel down in front of benson with a box on his right hand asking her to marry him... i'm still enjoying their cool partnership.

Oh see- that's not bad news, that's just the reality of it all. There's hope at the end of that news, see, so it's not technically bad. Now if Dick said- "Elliot and Olivia will never get together because that's not how I want my show to end...." Then Pi- SHAW! A sad clown would I be. And I'd have a hard time watching it too. I've always understood that if eo was to happen, they could no longer be partners, that's why I've always believed that if it were to happen it would either:

a) be at the end

or

b ) happen, but they'd keep it out of work (i.e. a secret) but eventually be found out and be forced apart. But again, at the end of the series.

I would have to go with choice B.

Creme Brulee!!!!! I want to pee my pants. I directed high school musical last year for a children's theater and this little 7 yr old boy had the creme brulee line. And he stood up and said his line for the first time and I jsut about died, because he was the gayest little boy I've ever met! "I dream of makgin the most perfect creme brulee." My mum thinks that if it's going to happen, it'll be limited focus. She said it might only happen right at the end if it happens at all. My mum is not a shipper, but I did the whole "hypothetically" thing, and she said that when SVU ends, it might not be a clean ending, they might leave a lot of questions unanswered.

My bet is that they'll leave it open ended too. They like to write like that because it's more "Artisitic". It leaves the audience to have to imagine their own ending. I'm never sure if I like those kinds of scripts or not. On one hand it's making the audience smart and giving them something to talk about, but on the other hand it drives me nuts. It's like- "What you didn't have the balls to give us your point of view?! You weren't creative enough to write an ending?! Instead we have to make it up all on our own?!!!" What is up with that? But I do think it will be...an unsolved mysterious....duhn dahhhh. That and mom's are always right.

I like things being tied up nice and concisely. But then again, SVU has never been on the top of my "ends things nicely" list. I hope my mum's wrong, but Scar, you're right, they're always right. Right. Word. Lol.

They did it to us in Doubt. But I'm on your side, I'd love for it to end all neat and tidy, but there's this niggling part of me saying it won't. I like to think I can leave my faith in the writer's/producers hands...but these days, I'm not so sure.
