I'm just letting my EO shipper buddies know that I probably won't be online for the next week, I'm going on holidays to a place where there's no net access (apparently). I'm praying to God the lady who I spoke to has no idea what wireless means and she lied. Something tells me she didn't, and that it'll be a long week without the internet. But there'll be beach and sun and holiday and my laptop, so I will get chapter 6 (and a one-shot I have in mind) done by next Thursday. Let's just hope there's a tv, otherwise if I find an axe, I might go all Johnny on my family (lol, Scar, that probably only makes sense to you!).

You know I never run into famous people. Everybody always says oh I ran into Mariska Hargitay or BD Wong or so and so and whoza wuzzle. Not me. I always get random people that nobody knows. I've met the guy from the Nanny. Actually I had lunch with him, because he was in a show with a friend of mine. And I had a drink with Anthony Rapp- he was in Rent and Charlie Brown and "Adventures in baby sitting" (That's an oldy but goody) and I think he was on a L&O Eppy. Then just in November I ran into- literally- BeBe Neworth. She was Frasier's ex-wife on Fraizer. And she was on Cheers. Not to mention she played Velma in Chicago on Broadway for years. I saw her. AMAZING. But nobody ever knows that kind of stuff. Yeah, I never get the Hugh Jackman's of the world. I would have died. DIED! in his arms of course. GOD- Laura you got to hug him. Did he smell good? GAH! i so want Elliot to save her. He never gets to save her. It's an evil conspiracy to thwart any inkling of romance. It's quite terrible actually. This whole "Hide the EO" season. I've been watching alot of reruns recently and there are so many flirty EO moments that I either forgot about or missed, because during the first couple of seasons I wasn't a hard core fan. I just watched for the crimes and the cases. I think Elliot has a big ol' hard on for Olivia in the first two seasons. It is so cute. I can't handle it. Also, in the episode Noncompliance there is a really sweet EO "Almost datey" banter when they go to get dinner and Elliot takes her to a hot dog stand on the corner. AHHH Flirting! Both of them- SO FLIRTING!

When you watch the old seasons- and I mean anyone of them. Even when Stabler is married- it really starts to become apparent as to just how seriously anti-EO this season is. The EO has dead panned. I've said it before and I'll say it again==== STUPID KATHY! Her uterus wrecked the whole frigg'n thing.

Also, Benson has a real issue with schiztophrenia. Noncompliance, weak, Blind. I happened to watch all three of those eppy's in the past couple of days and it's interesting to watch Blind while your mind is still refreshed with the Benson argument from those two eppy's. It gives it an extra biter of pepper. Lurv it!

Anyhoo- Run Kathy Run. Run for the hills, because if the writers don't off you- the fans are gonna.

Maybe Benson friends had schiztophrenia.

Anyway, in that thread a person known as "hyper" wrote about Meloni talking about "No EO" at a college talk back. I'd really like to not believe him, but why in sam hell would he say that if it wasn't. If that is remotely true I'm gonna cry.

I'm really enjoying the second half of this season. Season 9 that is, but Kathy Stabler needs to disappear. And Elliot- BOY- what is your deal? I'm so angry at him for knocking Kathy up that I could break my pen. WHat is going on here? You can't sell sex crimes without sex. It's just not right!

Nobody wants to see people getting rapped they want to see E and O figure out what position they're going to be in the first time they....DO it!

Chris Meloni, you're a bum! How could you say that? No EO. BAH humbug! If I thought that the NBC website worked I would go write a very concerned letter to the writers.

Maybe we should start a petition. One for EO and the second on for Munch! I like Lake- but MUNCH- is who I WANT to see.

Mary, you're the kinda woman who could organize this in a logical legal way. Could this work? Could we petition it? It might be historical. "Fans are outraged! They go into panda...or fandamonium and demand for the writer's of SVU to rewrite their happy ending."

I think what really needs to happen is that we need to de-scrooge Neil Baer. I blame him. He has a lot of background in Medical issues, but he's a very lonely- too smart for his own good-kind of guy. I think the reason why Olivia Benson will remain single and lonely for the rest of her life is because he is using that character to mirror his life. I mean, really, besides a few classes on directing and working on ER, he just doesn't get the 'Love' of entertainment. He has no heart. He's too freak'n logical. And that will only take the show so far. He needs to remove the stick and give us some EO. Maybe we need to get him laid.

And then there's the Munch. I forgot how heart felt Munch's character was until the Marathon during the holiday. I've been so stuck in the "NEW" SVU that I lost track of what got them to this place of one dimensional barriers. Munch has become a one lining sinacal comedy character. He is so much more than that. It was so lovely to see his hard shell fall apart for a victim. What a great dynamic that was. I want that back! Darn-it!

Anybody have any answers to turn this thing around? Or do we just sit back and bitch about it.

I wish there was a fandom team that could turn things around. LOL! The best that I can come up with is to maybe write NBC and let them know about what we are upset about. I am not sure how we can contact Neal Baer or the corporation he works for. I will do some digging and see if I can find a way.

But does Chris have some sort of EVP? Can he read the minds of the writers? All he is probubly going off of is what HE thinks will happen. He can never know what will happen in season 10 or how the writers will take the show. As much as I want to believe in Elliot/Olivia, there are still a lot of doubts about it happening. But I still have hope. If Chris takes that hope away, then what is the point of continuing to watch? Revealing something that big will hurt the ratings and I am certain that is the last thing NBC would want nor Neal Baer or Dick Wolf.

LETs write to nb and petition for eo!!! i saw the address for nb @ nbc, and we can each write to him and individually plead to him, OR, we can all get organized, find out nb's email address @ nbc, and write a nice elaborate letter stating why eo should hookup (scar, you write so well, would you do the honors?), then we start a thread in which we only input our email address, and the letter gets sent around to eachother, in which we each type in our name (signing the petition). then, we send it to nb's email, OR someone can print it out (the final product) and snail mail it to nb. if we all sign it and this gets done, it will be so much more powerful than each of us individually writing to nb.
what do you all think??? i'm excited. i think it could make a diffrence in the hearts and minds of the writers/nb. and if we hustle, we can send it to him before the strike's over/ or before the start of season 10, so we can help them with the direction of the show. who's with me????

What is with the board being Dead? I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. Even the non-EO people are MIA. Is everybody really busy or is SVU getting non-discussionable. Yikes I just made that word up.

Well with me it has been work and a bit of lack of interest. I mean the E/O has been really dry this year so I am just not that excited about SVU anymore, at least not like I used to be. Don't get me wrong, I still like the show. But SVU has been really lame this year. I guess it's because the cases kind of blow and the lack of E/O sucks. The only reason I am even watching is because of Mariska and because I still hold hope that the writers will get their head out of their butts and get it together. LOL! There is really only so many times a girl can talk about past episodes that involve shipper scenes cus we sure as heck aint seein' it this year...

I hope you guys make one hell of a petition. I've seen so many of these online that have been really sloppy, but they've had thoussads of signatures. I have confidence though that when the finished copy is sent to DW he'll be knocked on his butt

Awe...don't bawl. I am sure it will get better but right now E/O is really...dry. That's the best way I can come up with to describe it.
