Yes it does...that board is loaded with kids and this board seems like it has more mature posters...ok, I am not calling anyone old...lol...just me...but they get way too out of hand...

and JC...the E/O ship has definately sunk...lol...I totally am not an E/O shipper and never was, so my opinion may not mean that much...but it definately was an E/K shipper night...

I didn't get to watch last night, but I have it recorded so I'll watch it when I get home tonight. If the E/O ship is sunk I'll be a happy camper. Elliot the devoted husband and father--that's what I want. Last time I checked yesterday the Paternity thread at the SVU board was 28 pages. This morning it was 33--I was expecting 50 or more. Were they just too stunned to post?

You are right the thread is way out of hand...as well as the shippers...but I am happy they are together...E/O that is....
jcsavestheday
we should have an off topic thread where we can discuss the other L&O series (mothership, SVU, TBJ).

I've often had questions about the mothership, and I've wanted to discuss things that are off topic to svu. It would be great to have a place where we can discuss the other series without having to leave our 'home.'

And to be honest: the svu board kind of scares me...I'll leave it there.

Oh fudge it!!! I forgot to Tivo!! At least USA reruns epis!

This will be my last post, untill this site speeds up for me today, geez talking me forever for things to open up, not the internet cause everything else is ok.

It usually replays on NBC on Sat.

I was disappointed, Was hoping Olivia would be in some kind of danger, and Elliot would almost have to chose whose side to be at. Now was Elliot saying he slept with someone while they were separated? Hmmm will have to watch that scene again. Evidently Kathy didn't. I was hoping that they would name the baby Oliver, after Olivia since she was there to help deliver. But the comment what the world needs is another Elliot stabler was priceless. Also the hug, all I could think of is if Goren did that to Eames, omg this board would shut down, due to mega posting, and the sonic boom of everyone yelling and screaming across the world would be tremendous. And I would have to laugh and rolleyes.gif . Cause I have this strange feeling that in untethered there might be a hug. And the way people act with a touch around here, look out.
jcsavestheday
The site has been slow for me today but that was because my server was having problems.

You are so right in your post JRyan. ITA w/ everything you said. I really think that the e/o ship has been sunk.

A g/e hug? Oh my freaking goodness. This site would not run. You tube would be flooded. LJ and everything else would explode. Teh internets would totally be broken.

the site IS really slow.

a hug. do you have the slightest idea what that would mean? early christmas smile.gif smile.gif the RelationShip would fire fireworks all night. A hug *sigh*.

I've always had a cat or two since I was a child. Now that I'm in man's country (we moved) I think I'll get a dog. Dogs are cool because sometimes they like to drink beer with you.

The South. We've got a couple of ATVs, a dune buggy, and we used to have a nice truck with 4-wheel-drive. The husband of my friend (female) took it, though. Long story. Basically - he cheated with the next door neighbor so both couples got divorced.

This all happened recently - and the cheated-on-wife now has her friend living with her - who ALSO JUST GOT SEPERATED. Wierd man, three couples breaking up when I got here.

Anyway, juicy gossip aside - when it gets warm and thaws out we're going, "muddin'" . . . we'll be driving through forest trails and churing up big mud holes and rivers. Loads of fun.

I'm glad the husband is gone. He was a jerk and now the house there is full of women. Can you detect the ulterior motives behind my charitable impulses?

Heh. I really love the ex-wife. I won't hurt her. We're all taking things nice and slow. Lots of hugs.

I don't know where you are from originally .. but sounds like you are getting into the good 'ol boy mentality with the muddin and such..(not saying that's bad.. just a southern bit of fact there).

yeah.. interesting bit of gossip there... sounds oh so *familiar to many couples*. must be heaven for you.. i take you are single.. no scratch that.. never assume.

Oh I'm single - but I think the wonderful ex-wife has designs on me. I have absolutely no objection and can't wait to cement that a bit. She's a very earthy frauline (she's German like me) and we used to date back in High School when she was 16. That's all I'm saying other than - ahem mmm mmm. We're starting to explore.

It is indeed heaven and even more so because I love her daughter. No, not that way - I helped raise her since she was eight and she really opened my heart. Kids can do that and I love her so much it hurts and she loves me back. We tickle each other a lot.

We've all had some rough times (the frauline - the daughter, etc. blah blah) but I'm not one to carry a grudge. If I'm mad at you - I'll just slap you (especially if you're female) and let it go at that - and I've already plafully swatted all of my female friends on the posterior a lot. It's cute. Feels good. Things will be even soon.

I'm originally from California. I was born in Mercy Hospital in San Diego. I was angry at California (had some bad blood) and was more than willing to forgive them - but of course they never gave me a chance to beg for money for any of the causes I choose to bankroll so . . . I guess I have a bit of a grudge there. Their fault - I gave la la land plenty of opportunities to square things. Greenpeace . . . oh, all sorts of charity organizations including one that goes after mafia-controlled pedophile rings.

Oh well. Some people are just dumb. Really dumb.

The South is friendly and the people here are too religious - but they are not selfish and sometimes that's enough. If a man is willing to give you a share of his pie he can't be all bad.

I love muddin' and have even gone to church here. I've been to a bluegrass festival (LOVED IT!!!) and a tractor pull. This is a core part of America - the backbone - and I'm diggin' it.

I live in Tennessee now. Maybe if you live nearby we can all get together and heft a few cans. You'd love the house I'm partying at - almost all female. Michelle (ex-wife frauline), little Courtney (neice) and Brittany (her girlfriend) - Krissy (recently seperated) and her little son.

I've already been to the Grand ol Oprey. I got to touch Marty Robin's car. Excellent!!! wink.gif

I'm so far south, I'm in the north again. Or so people say. "Florida is New York South!" I don't believe it. I went to New York once when I was like 12, and I'm sure the entire state couldn't be anywhere near as cool as NYC. Though we get points for trying and lose them all for looking stupid in the attempt. I've lived in FL my whole life, and I think it's a great place (really!), but I also want to expand my perspective. I always thought I'd hate living in a big city, however I think I've changed my mind. At least for a while.

Tennessee... Yeah that's some good ol' boy country right there. I'd keep a trap outside your house though. You never know when the Drama Llama might stop by.

I am from alabama.. but I've been to tennessee many times and if I had to choose a place to live other than my home.. I would be very tempted tp pick your new home state. It's beautiful and.. unlike alabama.. they do experience all seasons.. and get snow!.. we rarely get any of the white stuff here.

sounds like you are experiencing the best of the south.. and you are right.. people here are very giving.. most anyway.
so california owed you something and didn't give..shame on them.
i frankly can't imagine what causes you would be working with that californians would disapprove of.. unless you were conspiring with terrorist or something.. was that it?

Yep. I know what you mean. Why do mostly girls like mysterys? I loved Encyclopedia Brown as a kid and also read some Danny Dunn. One of my favorite books was, "Danny Dunn - Invisible boy" where Danny had a dragonfly - a fake one that he could see and even feel through - making him "invisible" since he was part of the scenery. Very cool. I also of course loved the, "Choose your Own Adventure" books by Edward Packard and that other guy. Favorites were, "The Cave of Time" and, "The Mystery of Chimney Rock". Awesome for kids!!

You watch out for hurricanes, too!! I can't believe they were so slow to respond after Katrina - man - we have to work like white blood cells during emergencies and there's no excuse for slacking off.

Did I come off Gay?? Funny - but it seems that all of my life I've had Gayness around me. That - and Mormons. My neighbor across the street was a bishop - a genius and a brilliant chess player. He took the Mensa test, passed it in about 15 minutes and found 2 answers that the test writers failed to find.

I only had any experience with Gayness recently. I'm hoping it helps me relate to females better . . . I'm mostly hetro.

I am experiencing the best of the south, the folks are giving (I just got a kiss from that frauline, in fact) and, no, I didn't want money for terrorists heh. I've read some of that Koran and while I don't find it incredibly hateful, they do mention a certain, "wrath" that will hurt the, "nonbelievers" a lot.

Not as much as Pat Robertson says, but it certainly does have that theme. Weird, man. The Christian Bible seems to say that doubters are just nerds - not an enemy that has to be squashed. I tend to think that way so I'll never be a terrorist enemy of America.

Thank goodness. Most Americans are cool and I'll always love 'em.

That's too bad. I like ITWSH. Are they skipping it just cuz it's a 2-parter, ya think?

I *heart* the courtroom scene when Eames has to read her old letter requesting a new partner. And Bobby tells her it's ok, he IS an acquired taste. That's ITWSH, right?

there are those types of girls in everystate.

we just have more cause we are our own country.

Of course - there's always male and female prostitutes in every city. Tennessee has plenty of them.

lol.. you said california bred.. best type of person out there.. I think southerners are pretty cool too ya know(btw.. only been to SF and Sacramento... i like both those california cities).

*bug*

The South rocks - but folks seriously have to stop hatin' on Blacks . . . and maybe start hating the sleazoids from Hollywood and Noo York piped into every home in the country by telivision instead (they really have no morals) . . . because that hating African Americans leads too easily to sympathy for the enemy we are fighting. It's a shade too Nazi. Sympathisizers are the same as Communist sympathisizers which are the same as draft dodgers and as the hippie sack cloth and ashes appear the death of the spirit diesease reaches it's completion.

It's all in the Bible. If you love Christ, you HAVE to get with the program. It's not just a moral imperative - it's a matter of National security.

My family were slaveholders like many Americans were so we probably have a drop of the Congo. I don't think this makes us a viable target for agression and since we were trusted to design areoplanes for the military and command men to service B52s (the areoplane made to deliver the hydrogen bomb to Russia in the event of thermonuclear war) . . . I'd say that the United States government agrees with me.

I don't know why being a two parter would keep them from showing it. Who knows? That's probably it. Yes, ITWSH is the one with the infamous courtroom scene.,

I like the CI episodes with D'Onofrio (Bobby), but I can't stand the ones with Detectives Logan (Chris Noth) and Falacci (the red headed lady). Logan has no personality and is just plain boring. Falacci is the cliche "sassy redhead" with a flat tone of voice and a very annoying personality. I wish they would leave Logan and Falacci off CI and only use D'Onofrio and the lady he works with.

I love Detectives Benson and Stabler on SVU.
