I was looking at My Controls, and It has a control that says you can select to ignore a user and not have there post show but only if the board allows. Does anyone know if that is allowed on this board?
Never mind, it works.
Yes, you can do that on this board MF. Hope it's not me you want to ignore, but go to your controls and it will show you how you can do that. Also, don't know what's going on with your daughter, but my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. K

Well, Krod, I am back, sorry Bobby had me tied up, lol, just kidding. Daughter had slight complication, and they kept her over night. I could start a new thread and say I am back, but I will just post it here. We finally got home this about an hour ago, got her settled into her own bed. Thought my little shaggy,( my dog) was going to have a heart attack, he missed me so, he got left home alone last night. But she is doing well, she even asked for Popeyes fried chicken, which I refused to give her. I am so tired, but I am one of those people who just can't sleep during the day. So I will try to catch up on what I missed, Thanks ever one for your well wishes and prayers.

No it was a bladder thang, she couldnt Pee, lol. As a nurse I tried all the tricks, running water, soaking her hands and feet in warm water, running water on her legs. No nausea, she ate like a horse, That night she had a ham sandwich peas fries, even gave her cookies. Like I told spook she wanted popeyes fried chicken today, but I told her that was too greasy. But today at 6am they took the cathater out, made her drink two pitchers of water, and did the water tricks and finally about 9am we had success. and were finally able to come home. So how does it feel being Nicoles sister, Yes, I am pregnant with Bobbys baby for now, but I am sure, someone will end that, lol. Lot of jealous women here. I acctually thought of starting a New Thread Called, "Before you Press New Topic Read This!" Then we could post hints about what to think about before someone starts a New topic, Like could this go somewhere else? Like off topic. If your talking about what you did when you got grounded,(Off topic)
If you have a problem with administation( take it up with Administration) Seems nobody goes to the rules and other topics at the top. Maybe if everyone could post helpful hints, Also are you starting a new topic just to see your name on the board?

Character Fan Clubs
Episodes
These two categories would help some of the flux.
It's nuts. The SVU board is CRAZY, and I thougt that it would be more pages than this one, but its only THREE PAGES! Why? Because they post the heck out of the threads that they have. It's pretty nuts.

Hi Bubba here, Admin crack down on a lot of stuff the SVU forum was doing. Mostly, off topic things and duplicate threads. He did good job on doing that. That's the way it's suppose to be. We don't need more sub-forums, we just need the newbies and folks who haven't been here around to look and read before they post. Most likely there's already a thread for it. It's only three pages because the bottom of the page where it has the settings, is probably on 60 days, you can adjust it, so you can read all the threads ever started there.

I won't just give you any arguments against gays; but, I will suggest some places to look for gay rights issues of the past. If you do computer searchs for the period around the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s in San Francisco and New York newspapers (SF Examiner, SF Chronicle, and NY Times), you will probably find a lot of articles about Gay Rights. Current US Senator Dianne Feinstein became Mayor of San Francisco when Mayor George Moscone and Openly-Gay Supervisor Harvey Milk were both shot and killed (1970s, I don't recall what year). For many years, Gays were blamed for AIDS; before the scientists found the HIV virus. (References regarding AIDS/HIV would be Dr. Everett Koop, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Rock Hudson, Liberace, and many others in the performing arts world.)
Hope this helps.

I have a theory that a lot of it is Attention Seeking Behavior. If I post in this thread, there may be people who never see it because they don't check out this particular thread. But if I make a new thread, everyone will see that I have something to say--at least until it gets pushed off the first page. And it will probably stay near the top for a while because some people will respond to what I had to say and others will post just to tell me I shouldn't have started a new thread (I'm not saying its wrong to point this out to people, just that every new post pushes the thread back to the top). So, for a little while at least, I get attention.
I've never started a new thread--actually I didn't even know how to do it until last week. But maybe its just because I have no original thoughts?
