Ok I will be brave, here is my close up Mr. Deville!
As you can see, I have Bobby's Brown eyes, awww.
Eames' Roots, yes time for a dye job, dam just had one last month, then gray hairs come up fast, wish I could be like VDO and just let them grow.
If I smile, it gets rid of the sags around my mouth, but then creates wrinkles around my eyes, Told hubby for christmas I want restaline injection, lol. But then they only last about a year and a half. Don't know why my veins show up so much in my eyes, got a nice one showing up in my left eye there, But will be 46 next month and I think I look pretty good for 46.

oh FYI notice the scar over the right eye, I slipped in the bath tub at 8 yrs old and had to get stitches.

ouch! i did pretty much the same thing ( slipped in the tub when i was little ) but i didnt hit my head instead my foot hit one of my moms razors and cut open all my toe on my right foot ... still have little scars on them

Hi Bubba here, I just wanted to drop by and see how everyone was doing. The last time I was on here, was the last of April before the internet was cut off, a lot of things have changed since. We have moved and for the most part are set up at our new place. Boy, my feet are tired.

Like I said, on April 22nd our internet was cut off. Then on May 2nd, we had a lot of bad storms hit the area and one point, it look like a tornado was heading for us, luckily the storm weaken and move on. The next day, a friend of a friend, came over and asked my folks if there was looking for a new place, and if so, they had one they wanted them to look at. We end up taking the place and start moving in the following week.

I am glad to be at our new place, our old place had way too many problems to mention.

Thanks to everyone who thought of me while I was away.

Hey. Tasha, unless you are talking about tattoes, I don't know what "a tats" is. I'm going to assume that's what you mean. From your comments that I highlighted it sounds to me like it's cultural and probably "older" people forming these opinons about you. But intelligent people know that it's not what you see on the outside, it's what's on the inside that counts. What's in your heart. Your ethics, loyalty, honesty, integrity. What makes a person isn't how they wear their hair or if they have tattoes (my wife has 2) or piercings or the color of their skin, etc. It sounds to me that you aren't the problem; it's theirs and unfortunately it's their loss, not yours. If you weren't an intelligent person you wouldn't be owning your own home or working for the US goverment; and now a new job I see; Congratulations! I love your comment in the first paragraph that you "hope to change their minds" and that you are "always polite and show them what a good person you are". That is so neat and I commend you for that. Keep it up, no matter how long it takes. Don't let them win. You are a good person and just let that shine through.

Here's a little update to the extent I can remember details.

I think the combination of the Writer's Strike and 6 months between new episodes has taken a toll on the membership. After all, there is only so many comments you can make about Bobby's Tie Clips, who is shipping who, or episodes that have been repeated 15-20 times. I think that as the new episodes start being aired, several missing members will return and a bunch of new ones will sign on.

OldGoalie has been minding the Kathryn Erbe/Alex Eames Fan Club in Bubba's and your absence; but, sometimes appears to be talking to him (or her?) self. I expect he'll be glad to have someone else with whom to share the admiration.

One or two names you may not know well. VDOVault is serving in the role official tracker of contract negotiations and strikes. FlashyMom was the main contact for feeding the strikers and welcome-back cakes for the writers, crew, and actors after the Strike. I mainly post Schedule Information on the Marathon Thread (every month I combine all the schedules and break them down by Season). And, of course, Bug, jryan, and others (including myself) are still urging members not to create new Threads every few minutes, though we seem to be fighting a losing battle.

Haven't heard from YankeeFan, KRodgers, and some other frequent posters for quite a while.

Hey. I do remember you, LOCIFan2. Thanks for the synopsis of what's been going on. I don't know how much I'll be "back". Summer is coming up (if it ever warms up in OH) and I spend most of my time outdoors. LOCI isn't holding the interest for either Angie or I, as it once did. Could be it's the length since a new eppy. However, I think the marriage has had something to do with it, too. Right now neither one of us has a 'crush' on anyone on TV or movies, except each other. Katie doesn't hold the thrill she once did and I know Angie feels the same way about VDO. I'll try not to be too much of a stranger.

You have beautiful eyes and a lovely smile! Much braver than I am...I hate my picture taken, especially closeups...I can never smile on command and if I try it looks so fake...

Aww now you got me all teary eyed too....I hated school, for partially the same reasons...that and the rumors going around about my mother and a couple teachers....It does suck how much people judge others, without having known them at all!

The next day, a friend of a friend, came over and asked my folks if there was looking for a new place, and if so, they had one they wanted them to look at. We end up taking the place and start moving in the following week.

I am glad to be at our new place, our old place had way too many problems to mention.

... and it is older people i live in kind of a retirement town . but i work hard and try to be the person i can be and i hope that people leave with a diffrent outlook on punk people after they meet me .

I believe the hernia is a break in the abdominal wall and you are seeing your insides poking thru. My daughter had one after having a baby. She did too much lifting while pregnant. Hers has pretty much gone back on its own but I think it is an easy fix. Just take care of yourself and do as your doctor says.

Tasha, congrats on getting the job. A word to the wise. Don't eat too many donuts. I worked part time in a bakery once and boy did I pack on the wt. Happy baking.

Thanks for all yall concern, i talked to the Surgeon's Nurse yesterday, and explained what was going on, and that My Family doctor diagnosised the Hernia, she said she would talk to the Doctor and call me back either yesterday or today, so I didn't hear back yet, so I should hear back today. I will keep yall informed.

I was watching it but I lost interest. Usually there is someone that I really like voice wise and personality wise that I'm rooting for in the final. The 2 Davids can sing but I don't really care who wins.

my fav lost last week, syesha, I think she was the better talent, but I guess since a girl won last time, it couldn't happen again.

The girl seemed to have a permenant spot in the bottom 3. While many seemed to get worse and/or run out of steam as the weeks went on she just got better and better.

Well the youngest David is a cutie, so he is getting the young girls vote, he can sing, but seems just ballads, can he make a career at that? The other David, seems talented, he can rewrite songs to make them his own, but really on sounds good when he is rocking them out. So, they both are talented in their own way, I think its more of a popularity contest at this point.

It's always been like that. That's how Jason Castro stayed in so long lol. Little cutie that he is. I think that the giggly preteen girls call and vote for their fav over and over.

I know what you mean about slow internet. I live in the country and the only way to get high speed is about a $400 up front fee and 70 some dallars a month. I think my son is going to get it for me tho, sooner or later. When the pics are missing, if there is a red x in the left corner, rt click on the x and then left click on show picture. It will come back up.

I guess most everyone has heard about Ted Kennedy's brain cancer. It is sad. Odd that we were all talking about the Kennedy's the other day. I hope it is treatable but I don't hold out much hope giving his age and all. One of my husbands died of brain cancer. In fact he was my favorite. Strange remark, I guess,but I have been married a few times. Also my stepfather died of brain cancer. Both were very heavy drinkers. I always thought there might be some correlation between excessive alcohol and brain cancer. Kennedy has had his alcohol problems too. Non the less he is an icon and I think he has done a lot of good for his country. The only one in that immediate family to live and comb gray hair. His words at JFK jr's funeral. There are many other Kennedy's of course but the three brothers and JFK jr., the ones we felt we knew. Senator Byrd is on TV crying right now. About to make me cry. I guess I have gone in to long as usual but this is a little more than sad to me.
