ha. the pope.

Reminds me of the Priest scandal.

I think less than 4% of priests were involved in that. I try not to let that reflect on my feelings about the other 96%.

Anyone else feeling earthquakes in the midwest region. I am literally freaking out. We had one apparently at 4:30 am this morning registering 5.4 on the scale that I didn't feel at all. Slept right thru it. We just had another one a couple of minutes ago (10:15 am) I felt this one. I am shaking. Don't like natural disasters at all. Love the movies, just don't want to live them.

I said so because the second page is usually the 'throw away' threads after you get past the 3rd of 4th thread. There were about ten activ topics on the 2nd page, which was kind of weird.

Yeah, that is weird. I found the tie clip thread on page 4, and the 100 reasons to ship thread is on page 2.......There are some new members here reading in the back room and digging up dirt.....lol wink.gif

Harm: You work with the guy Mac! You wouldn't go topless in front of me would you?
Mac: Is that a request?
Harm: You know they wrote Eternity on this bridge in lights on New Years Eve
Mac: Is that how long we're gonna wait?
Harm: Mac.
Mac: We're not in Washington. We're not even on the same continent.
Harm: Location doesn't change who we are.
Mac: Most men would disagree with you.
Harm: I know. I disagree with me sometimes too.

Thanks. The major one hit in southern Illinois (way south of me) but was felt in 6 states. The 2nd one I felt was just an aftershock. Just, not the word. It was an earthquake in my mind.

Literally, no but where I live had felt 1 of them and the aftershock of it. The earthquake actually happened down in southeastern IL by the IN border and felt in 6 states then we had an aftershock from that same earthquake almost 6 hours later. Major damage down in the southern part of the state from what I saw on the news but nothing major here. Just chimneys and roofs.

First, Diane Neal is leaving SVU, and now Adam Beach? That makes me sadder now sad.gif

Adam Beach is departing NBC's crime drama "Law & Order: SVU" at the end of the season.

Beach joined Dick Wolf's crime drama last fall under a one-year deal, which had an option for a second. The two sides have decided not to exercise the option.

On "L&O: SVU," from Wolf Films and Universal Media Studios, Beach plays Chester Lake, an SVU detective from Brooklyn.

"I very much enjoyed my year on 'Law & Order: SVU'," Beach said. "Now I'm looking forward to new adventures."

Beach joined "L&O: SVU" on the heels of his starring role in Wolf's Emmy-winning HBO film "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee," which earned the actor a Golden Globe nomination.

"Adam is a superb actor," Wolf said. "From the first day I met him on the set of 'Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee,' I was knocked out by his commitment, dedication and total immersion in the film's most crucial role. He did a terrific job this season on 'SVU,' and I look forward to working with him again in the near future."

Beach's departure from "L&O: SVU" follows the news that another regular on the show, veteran Diane Neal, also is exiting the series.

It is understood that Neal's A.D.A. Casey Novak will be replaced with a new A.D.A. character to be introduced next season. Beach's role is not expected to be recast.

No, not the New Madrid. Apparently there is another fault line on the eastern side of Illinois called the Wabash fault line. That is where this one was centered. I had no idea.

Probably about 55, but its because the bay is right there, which is pretty cold. Us california kids are used to warmer weather.

but if you compare a Northern Californian to a Southern Californian, the idea of cold differs.

I was in Southern California in Jan and it was like 65 out at night, and i was like talking about how hot it was, and my friend from SoCal was in a jacket.
