I don't know, I just never liked the taste. In fact I dislike all berries--and cherries--and tomatoes. Yeah, when I was a vegetarian, people thought it was pretty wierd for a vegetarian to hate berries and tomatoes.

Talking about fruits, well I decided to try stuff I know is good for me, but I don't like, so I bought some V8 Low sodium Juice,( Yuck) Gunna try to drink a glass a day. And some Prunes and eat a snack pack a day, those aren't so bad. I had been feeling not myself for the last couple days, well today I woke up with sore throat, its not that bad, but when I wake up its hurts more, I think I have post nasal drip at night that is irritating my throat, so gunna try some extra Vitamin C and cold Tabs, Maybe I am catching a cold. So gunna skip the pool today, and do some other exercise. Need to go to wally world today. woohooo, (yuck)

HOW CRUEL IS THIS????????????????

Let me set the scene:
I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. It was just routine but by the time I got home I had a migraine. So I took an Excedrine and laid down. I told my husband to let me sleep for an hour. He has been interested in and done a little extra work over the years so he looks at various websites to see if there are any casting calls in the Boston area.

I was in bed about 10 minutes when he came in and told me that there was a casting call for extras in the Boston area for Law & Order! (Whining last week I asked why Bobby couldn't come film a scene or episode in Boston. It's not that far from NYC) I quickly put aside my excruciating headache long enough to ask which one. Then I said I bet it's not for Bobby's. He went and checked and told me that it was for CI!!!!!!! He said he was going to reply, send his pic etc. I said send mine too!!!! Even though I barely leave the house I could work up the courage if it meant getting a glimpse of VDO and KE. He showed me the listing and sent off our responses. I went back into Craig's List looking for the posting because I was so excited and I wanted to post it here. The posting wasn't there. .
I don't know if the post was removed for some reason unknown to me or if it was an elaborate hoax by my husband for April Fool's Day. He swears it wasn't and I believe him. I don't think he'd ever think to do that. Anyway, I hopelessly keep checking to see if it has miraculously reappeared. But alas nothing.

I swear... if one more fruit goes on strike I'm sticking the whole lot into a big blender and blitzing them all haflway into next week!!!!

One of the conditions that the pineapples have put on the table for returning to the bar is that said blender be banned in their presence (since the unfortunate accident in which Captain Deakins and flashymom had to help me clean the ceiling).

Well, the latest from the pineapple front is that I am apparently now "insensitive to their feelings of longing for some wholeness and diverity" in their life. I, according to them do not appreciate what it is like to be "chopped into bits" and I am being unreasonable if I want all my chunks to be the same size. I give up with these pineapples.

I think I am ready for mr Key Wee to step in and sort this mess out before the fruit hits the blender. Can you get him to come to the bar judyG and then we can sort all this out... shaving is optional for me and the pineapples are prickly dudes themselves (in more ways than one) so they are okay with him coming as he is.

Oh- Mr Key Wee is as nervous as a frog in a blender (however, I promise I have NEVER done that) and will meet you in the bar once he has dressed in his best suit and gathers his leather binder and best lead pencil.

Back to the negotiations at hand. I think that the strawberries seem to be getting on with the pineapples much better and I guess it only fair to allow the pineapples some form of control over how they are to be chopped up. Perhaps I was a bit fussy and overly control freakinsh there. But I heard a vicious rumour about a faction of Beat 'm Up Bananas roaming the Bar so will go and find them and quench that in the butt as well... what was that mr Key Wee... ooooh no I did not mean pinch your butt.. nip the argument in the... oh never mind.

OMG, you guys are hilarious!!!

To all interested personnel on the Noromo, and any other interested parties.

Negotiations have been going on for some time now and I am happy to report that an agreement has been reached between myself and all the fruits in these negotiations. The pineapples are hapy that they have received a voice in how they are going to be used in the fruitails/cocktails/fruit salads and other fruit requiring product that are being served in the bar. The issue of target practice practices has also been adressed andresolved. A outside party on this forum (you know who you are) has very kindly supplied an alternative way for us to get some target practice in whenever we need it and no fruits need ever be harmed again for this.
The Rogue group of pineapples that were thinking of abondoning the ship earlier on this evening due to this issue have decided that they will remain on board to provide us with some long awaited fruity drinks. The Strawberies will receive a special plaque in the NoRomo bar as they were willing to sacrifice themselves en masse and go above and beyond the call of duty to help with the "shortage" of target practice fruit. The Kiwis (especially the squishy ripe ones) get a special commendation for being so relaxed and laid back and of great value in this whole negatiations process.
I have heard rumours that there will be a wedding of the lovely pineapple girl Sticksy and mr Key Wee's cousin Key Wah but rumours are as of yet not confirmed (Isn't it wonderful, love blossoms even in crisis.

The issue that was brought up about certain fruits being afraid to go into the blenders is also resolved. The minority of pineapples that had an issue with that are getting therapy from mr Key Wee himself and we are working on a more friendly atmosphere around the blending area. There will be lightly coloured walls, soft lighting and relaxing music playing whilst blending take place. It hasl so been agreed that there will be a short initial merciful blast of blending.. then a stop and then perhaps some more blending if it is deemed necessarry. In order to prevent leakage - lids are to be used at all times.. and goggles too.

All in all I must say that the atmosphere at the end of the talks was good to jolly good. However, as some of the strawberries are going off in all this heat and some of the banana are getting somewhat restless for a swim in some pineapple juice we have decided that now we have this agreement in place there really is no reason any more for the fruit strike to continue and drinks will be served to celebrate in the Noromo bar.

I would especially like to thank Mr Key Wee for helping in the negatiations. He was very helpful and really seemed to be able to get inside the fruit's heads, he really understood what was going on with the individual fruits. I do not think I have ever seen so much humanity in one man.. ehm fruit.. oh whatever.

So, in short. On behalf of the newly formed HAFA (Human And Fruit Alliance) adn the BAOTMB (Bartenders Association Of The Message Board) I wish to read out the folowing statement:

I learned to drive a stick in a few days. My hubby taught me. He is a very good teacher. I now own one. I will never go back to an automatic.

sammy loves stick shifts but i have just never had to really learn to drive his car ... i think this is good motivation to learn!
