I have been asking about Krod for a week or more and have pm'd her several times. We talked a lot and I just missed seeing her here. I hope she is okay...

Yup, its been a while since she has been on...RL must be really rough or busy for her right now. mellow.gif

Oh, does anyone know for sure WHERE the new episodes will be shown? I thought USA had the LOCI series now... I know NBC has been showing the repeat of this season and dubbing them as "all new", which I guess they are to that channel. But will USA or NBC be airing the "new" new episodes?

I hope K-Rod is ok, too. I didn't know she'd been MIA that long. blink.gif

The new eps will air Sundays starting June 8 at 9pm on USA, followed by a new series of theirs that I can't remember the name of right now. In Plain Sight?

Thanks for the heads up on the new epi's. I marked it on my Vincent calender, lol, not that I think I will have a problem remembering.

Yeah, I wondered a bit when she didnt respond to a couple of my pm's. So I asked here and no one seems to have heard from her. I hope its nothing serious... blink.gif

You're welcome for the epi info, KimT.

I will try PMing K-Rod, but I think you and others have already tried, haven't you? I can't even find a post of hers so I can bring up her profile to PM her. sad.gif

I think I need to watch "Indiana Jones" again. It's been awhile. When I saw the 1st "Star Wars" movie. Wowie funny and 'hawt'! "The Fugitive" is one of my favorite movies. Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones together. I love them both.

I hope KR is OK. Comp. problems maybe?

That's a good one! My fav is "You call him Doctor Jones!" Short Round was one of the only things that saved Temple of Doom from Willie. Man! That woman was irratating!

I'm glad Marion is going to be in the new movie too. She's my favorite "Indy Girl" by far.

I love Indiana Jones - and the fact that Marion is going to be in the new movie is excellent. She was his 'true love' ::sigh:: Not a huge fan of the Temple of Doom, but Short Round did save that movie. Raiders I saw about 20 times in the theater and The Last Crusade is awesome. (We named the dog INDY - I love when Sean Connery says that line at the end).

My nephew's last name is really Jones and my son wants him to name his next son Indiana - his first son is Casey Jones and my son thinks it's after TMNT's Casey Jones. laugh.gif

I just want to share my traumatic evening last night. I went grocery shopping (had to--I kept putting it off so long Old Mother Hubbard's cupboard were BARE). That is traumatic enough for me, but last night I actually had made a menu and a list (very unusual for me!) and I wanted to buy some meat. Not a big deal for most people. But after being a vegetarian for almost 20 years, this was the first time since I started eating meat again that I had really shopped for meat. All I wanted was some chicken breasts (found those OK), ground beef, a couple of small steaks, and a roast. Oh my goodness! I did not recognize any names--it was like a foreign language! No filet mignon--just round steak, and some others I don't remember (don't they have T-bone steaks anymore--that was my Dad's favorite). All these roasts that I didn't recognize. Even the ground beef was confusing. It used to be regular, lean, and extra lean. Now it has all these numbers--85% lean, 4% fat, 70% lean, 20% fat. Sheesh! I ended up with the chicken breasts, a pound of the leanest ground beef I could find, 3 small round steaks, and a small tri-tip roast. I think I spent half an hour just in the meat section. Maybe vegetarianism is simpler! Beans, pasta, veggies--and you're done. tongue.gif

Aw, sounds like a lousy shopping trip, ciaddict. I always HATE it when my clients send me to the store for the deli or meat department. I don't eat meat at home (unless it's chicken in chicken/noodle soup, or something in a frozen dinner), so I find it hard to pick such things out. As for the deli dept, I just hate waiting in line. tongue.gif

Dizzy spells are not fun.

I'm feeling better in some ways, but not in others. I still didn't go to school today. My fever has gone down (so far, after creeping back into the mid 99s last night, which is feverish for me). But i still have a tummy ache.

I suppose that could have been avoided, as I took a small amount of laxitive yesterday b/c I needed it. But I'm wondering if it made me sick, or if I would have felt like this anyway.

There's so much sickness going around this season that you're bound to get sick whether you take stuff or not.

I've been off all week with what 3 different docs describe as "bursitis", "pinched nerve", "tendonitis". Id take them ALL if it would keep the dizzies away. At least you can take pain meds for those other things.

I guess after not having eaten meat for so long you might get a bit confused. I'd stick with the simple stuff first like plain chicken breast and sirloin steak first, and then after a few weeks maybe work your way up to the 75% meat sausages.

I love food shopping!!!!! Apart fom eating the things that I cook, reading my books, listening to music and watching Telly it is my favorite thing to do. I love going round the isles and getting the bist together for a meal. I must say that I am really kind of organised so I always have a list when I go shopping... and mostly stick to it!! One of my pet peeves in the store is that they seem to move things around every so often... and I have to spend about three hours looking for the coconut milk... GGGGGGRRRRRRRR.

I tell people it was my mid-life crisis. laugh.gif I don't know. I turned 50, there was drama going on with my kids. It actually started about the same time my obsession with CI and VDO started. Anyway, I just started craving some of the "comfort foods" from my childhood. My mom's fried chicken, meatloaf, tacos, etc. I started eating the fish sandwiches at McDonald's, then chicken, then worked my way up to hamburgers. tongue.gif I've been eating meat when I eat out, and have gotten frozen foods (like Marie Callendar's Chicken Pot Pies--yumm!), but haven't really cooked it myself much. I thought it would all come back to me. But when I saw all that meat at the store, I felt like I was in a foreign country! I have figured all along that eventually I would go back to being a vegetarian, but so far I don't seem to moving that direction. My sister tells people I am a vegetarian who eats meat! laugh.gif I just say I couldn't afford a Porsche or a hot young stud, so I turned to chicken and VDO!

ciaddict's post about turning to meat after being a vegetarian earlier on this page should help explain why people are joking about eating VDO, hullbound.

As for food, I just came back from eating Chinese because there's nothing to eat here except meat and bread (sounds like a bachelor pad...) wink.gif The woman asssumed I wanted to order takeaway, but I wanted to eat in. I'm not sure why it sometimes seems like men eating by themselves get no weird looks, while young single women like me get a second glance. It doesn't bother me, though I certainly wouldn't have the guts to do it on certain days of the year (Valentine's Day, for one). I had some ice cream. Now it could have been because I haven't eaten ice cream (except the no fat, no sugar stuff, which technically can't be called ice cream) for four months, but it just added to the excellent meal. smile.gif

GENTLE THOUGHTS FOR TODAY...

Birds of a feather flock together and crap on your car.

When I'm feeling down, I like to whistle. It makes the neighbor's dog run to the end of his chain and gag himself.

A penny saved is a government oversight.

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by then your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement

Did you ever notice: The Roman Numerals for forty (40) are ' XL.'

If you think there is good in everybody, you haven't met everybody.

If you can smile when things go wrong , you have someone in mind to blame.

The sole purpose of a child's middle name is so he can tell when he's really in trouble.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it. For example I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt

Did you ever notice: When you put the 2 words 'The' and 'IRS' together it spells 'Theirs.'

Aging: Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.

The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for. (unless it is chocolate almond ice cream!)

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way.
I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to youth, think of Algebra.

You know you are getting old when everything either dries up or leaks.
One of the many things no one tells you about aging is that it is such a nice change from being young.

Ah, being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable.

First you forget names, then you forget faces. Then you forget to pull up your zipper.
It's worse when you forget to pull it down.

Long ago when men cursed and beat the ground with sticks, it was called witchcraft.
Today, it's called golf

GENTLE THOUGHTS FOR TODAY...

Birds of a feather flock together and crap on your car.

When I'm feeling down, I like to whistle. It makes the neighbor's dog run to the end of his chain and gag himself.

A penny saved is a government oversight.

I resemble some of those remarks, and have been known to pray that very same prayer a time or two, or three, or...... smile.gif
