Man, I wish I had Sims 2. You sound like you are having a lot of fun. I've only played Sims 2 once on my roommates computer. She made Sims versions of everone in the apartment. She accidentally killed my character and I haunted everbody.

Can the webmaster of the great USA site please update it.
1) When you google "USA Network", several show links pop up, Monk, Psych, etc. Law and Order is one, but if you click on the link, it throws you into the SVU link. All the other shows listed are first runs. We're family now.
2) When on the CI site, if you click on the top community link, it throws you in to character investigation trivia.
3) Can someone update the photos of VDO? I hope that they will be updated when Julianne Nicholson returns or when the second half of the series premiers in January (hopefully).

did you just pick the names randomly from the Bible jc?
I can't even remember Bobby and Alex's kids, haven't played for a while. One daughter was named Maeve though, just because I think the name is extremely pretty and I thought their kids should have English names. But Maeve isn't doing too well, did you know that Sims can get skinny or fat if you feed them too much or too less? That poor girl looks seriously anorexic.

Not so much randomly, I really like hebraic names. I would even spell them the transcribed way, but I think that could be too confusing. So far we have:
Samuel
Jacob
Israel
Hannah
In the future hopefully we'll have:
Judah
Leah
Levi

TWWW was so awesome. I loved his portrayal of Robert Howard and Renee Zelleweiger is just adorable so tiny and standing up to him.
Salton Sea is a totally different character for VDO and it shows what a wonderful actor he is. Pooh Bear has disturbed me greatly, but I plan on watching it again just to rewatch his performance. I have Thumbsucker but haven't sat down and watched it yet. I've seen bits on STARZ and absolutely love his character in that one.
I actually loved his character in Bark - but Sam Deed is my favorite so far outside of Goren, with Bob Howard a very close 3rd. And, I didn't expect the ending of TWWW at all. Totally shocked.

My daughter-in-law just called and told me that their car was broken into last night and the blanket I crocheted for my grandson was stolen. A bank statement was also stolen (why on earth would they leave a bank statement in their car in that neighborhood?!), and I know that is more serious than the blanket. But I don't have very good follow-through and I was so proud that I actually finished it (and well before the baby shower, might I add). He is my first grandbaby and I thought how great it was that I was starting a new tradition. I keep telling myself that it is just a blanket. But, dang!

Congratulations KR! Aren't grandbabies the best?! I love those names. My little guy (OK, so he's not so little!) is 9 months old. His name is Brian Jeremiah. My son's name is Brian and I was hoping they would call the baby Jeremiah. So confusing when Dad and baby have the same name, plus I really think he looks like a Jeremiah. In total agreement - of we wanted kissy-face yuck we can watch The Guiding Light - I watch the show for the plots and characters. And besides, I doubt everyone would be happy with the choices the writers would make for our detectives, so our imaginations are the much better place for their personal lives.

Well I talked to both Amazon and UPS and they say they can't do anything about it until they've made at least one attempt to deliver it. Which wont' happen because they'll just take it up to the office and leave it there. So I'll never get it. I really hate my life sometimes. Do you and Eames really talk? See, I know you're holding her against her will or she would have told you that Joe, Alex's husband, was killed in the line of duty. That's why she's so sad - not because she has the hots for Bobby and can't have him (she's a NOROMO!) - Joe was killed and Alex is still in love with him and what they 'could have had'. The fact that she suffered such a tragic loss would prevent her from EVER marrying another cop (except maybe Logan - sorry, couldn't resist). I think that she will definitely steer clear of anyone on the force whenever she decides she's ready to commit to one person again - she'd be too afraid of losing them like she did Joe.

Has anyone seen "I am Legend"? My husband and I saw it last night. It is a very well made film, but I found it to be pretty depressing. I didn't expect it to be a laugh-a-minute comedy, but I left the theatre afterwards feeling rather hopeless and sad about it all. Also, I might be stupid, but what did the re-engineered measles virus from the begininng have to do with the film? Was that supposed to be the cause of the "illness?"

Well, the candy and cookies are flowing freely today! For most of us in my office, today is the last day we have to work until next Wednesday. The Friday people will be in tomorrow from 8-12, then we are closed Monday and Tuesday. Very cool.
A group in our office started a store called 4 Us All (to combat the high-priced thieving snack and soda machines in the break room). We have raffles for different holidays throughout the year and at Christmas we have a HUGE raffle. Today they are giving away prizes every half hour all day--small prize on the 1/2 hour, large prize on the hour. The biggest prize will be last--a 24" flat screen TV (I keep telling them it will be perfect in my bedroom!). In case anyone is interested--I did NOT win the under-the-counter radio/CD player or the Red Lobster gift certificate.
Yeah, no one here was interested in my whining either! Oh well...the day has just begun. That TV just might be in my bedroom tonight!

I then asked if that should then not be an £11 gift voucher as when you buy a ticket you spend ONE pound and then get a voucher for TEN so technically you have already spent one pound and are left with nine ....... the people in my office looked at me with a look of "bles her little heart" on their faces and then laughed at me. I must say that now I am typing this it does not really makes sense to me either but it just happened to pop into my head and I thought I would share.

Sorry you did not get the TV or DVD ciaddict.
I just bought some lottery tickets at work.. them money goes to a charity and you can win a £10 gift voucher.
Had to have some jelly beans to cheer me up... It worked!!!!

Hey, you're not really my sister disguised as someone else, are you?
That sounds so much like something my sister would say!

Well, they just raffled off the TV--and I did NOT win it! In fact, I did NOT win a single thing all day. And my brain is in a fog from all the sugar. I think I need to go home and go to bed. Can someone have Dr. Goren come by tonight and check up on me? Now THAT will make me feel better!

Yeah, Captain JRyan is keeping him busy in her cabin. Sigh.....I guess I will just have to tough it out on my own.

Has anyone else had troble changing their avatar in the last couple of days? I change it in the settings and the new one shows but it doesn't show up on my posts.
Hullbound,
I had the same problem. It showed up to everyone else but not to me when I changed my avatar. I had to clean my browser (in your tool bar/internet options/delete - history, cookies, etc.). When I logged back in, it showed up on my computer.
