Congratulations to Dick Wolf and his wife Noelle on the birth of their daughter. Glad to hear everyone is doing well.
I wonder if this was the inspiration for Elliot's new baby.

Well men can conceive babies well up to their death or if they get a snip-snip. Tony Randall first became a father at the age of 77 before he died a few years later and then there's Paul McCartney who became a father to his fifth child when he was 61 years old.

Dick Wolf was born December 20, 1946. So he's 60.

Congrats to them!!!
Hmmm....Zoe Stabler....not sure I can see it fitting with the others, BUT I can see him naming E/K's baby after her though. After all he has used the other 3 kids' names.

LOLOLOLOL! I was thinking the same thing myself! I can see Amelia being used, since it's more old fashioned and traditional than Zoe. I don't think Kathy and Elliot are that hip.

Amelia and Zoe are beautiful names. And different from all the 'eens in the Stabler family. I'm so glad he stuck to convention and didn't name his kid something random like 'bottle cap'. No offence to anyone called 'bottle cap' or 'soda' or 'seven'...

I graduated from high school with a Zoe...(actual name was Zoanne..but we called her Zoe)

Amelia is my cousin's name...well it's actually spelt with an E, but I envy her name. And Olivia's name.

I take care of a little girl name Amelia.
Although it's true that Elliot and Kathy's daughter is MaurEEN and KathlEEN, there's also Elizabeth so they broke the 'EEN' thing on that one. So who knows? Richard/Dickie is obvious of who's that one named after...right Mr. Wolf?

ROTFL! I think he does! WOW! When I found out Mariska had her first child at 42 I was like, "Man, if she wants to have any more kids she better get crackin!" LOL! But I guess its different for woman and men. Still I think people should stop producing at a certain age. Anyone who has kids past 50, in my opinion, is just too old. But to each is own. Like I said congrats to Dick Wolf and his family.

omg, I have a funny story about old people with kids. My neighbours (across the road) just moved in. The husband is almost 70, the wife almost 40 (i thought she looked older). Anyhoo, they were out in their front yard getting ready to go out and i saw them with a little kid (about 5) that I hadn't taken noticed before. I was walking my dog past their house and I said "aww, are you going out with your grandparents today?" The little kid just stared and said "no, that's my dad"...I was mortified! The husband laughed it off...but I was so embarassed! Needless to say I don't talk much to them anymore, I just wave!

I don't remember how old David Letterman is- my guess is that he's 60 but he does have a 3 year old son, Harry Joseph
And I agree, if Mariska wants more kids, better get cracking! I'm sure the writers can brace themselves for another pregnancy plan lol

ROTFL! OMG! You made me laugh! LOL! How embarissing! Yeah I have done something similar to that but it was to a woman I thought was preganant but well...she wasn't. I was working at a card and gift store when a lady came in and asked for help looking for a card. I looked down at her and smiled. I asked, "So are you about 7 months along?" She looked at me, rolled her eyes and said, "No. I'm not pregnant." I continued to say sorry but the damage was already done. LOL! Needless to say I never ask any woman if she is pregnant unless I know without a doubt she is expecting.

I wonder what they'll come up with if she has to go MIA again...or if they'd use it in a show? It's nearing the end, maybe Benson has a baby? Or they could kill her off? I hate speculating!
HAHA! I work in a store that caters for plus size women (my second job), so I have to be very careful. I never ask unless they tell me that they are. My colleague made that mistake a few weeks back, haven't seen the woman since. I bet you'll wait until they actually go into labour in front of you before you ask!
Lady: I think my water broke!
Mary: ok...
Lady: I'm having contractions!
Mary: Oh, you're pregnant?

See the bad thing with me though is that I work at The Disney Store! LOL! A ton of women come in pregnant, with kids, or pregnant with kids. LOL! I simply gave up asking. LOL! I value my life.

They might even go for a saint's name to show that they're reconciling. Something traditional like Mary (no, not you Mary!) or Rose or Esther (way old testament) or teresa. My confirmation name was Elizabeth, but that's already taken!

I want Elliot to have a boy too. I think Joseph, Matthew, Nicholas, or Patrick would go good with Stabler. Elliot is an Irish-Catholic so who knows of the names he and Kathy will pick out?
Ever since the news about the baby came out, I've been thinking of the name already lol- I had narrowed to those four names down.
