As much as I hate to think it will happen, there is a possibility that they will cancel our show. If that happens, I was curious as to what will happen with the board. This is the first message board I have posted on for a TV show, do they close the board or leave it open for the fans to continue discussions as long as there is still an interest? Also, I have to say I enjoy talking to the majority of you, whether I agree with your opinions or not, and I was wondering what each of you would do if they did cancel the show, will you still visit the board if it is left open, if they close the board would you be willing to find somewhere else to get together to talk everyweek like we do here, or would you just say goodbye and call it a night, so to speak.

I would more than likely continue to visit the boards here. untill they are shut down that is. lets hope we have another season or two before that becomes the issue.

I hope to continue writing the Gay 4400 with my peeps EM and IR. If that fails, I hope to continue my private writing in a land far, far away.
But as long as the forum is still around, I'll be here lurking. (And posting. And drinking tomato martinis.)

I have been a loyal fan of many shows in my time, but this is the only forum I have ever visited and I have to say that is probably a good thing considering I am addicted. After coming here, reading, and posting the show got even better. I had new ideas about characters and theories and it was great to post my opinion too. If the show gets canceled I will be very sad but I might be even more sad if this message board were not here. I will continue to post as long as it is here. This is also the first place I go as soon as I long on and I couldn't imagine even going anywhere else. I guess I need a life but I like the no life I am leading now and I wouldn't want it to change!!!!

What will I do if the show isn't renewed and they close the this board????? Well...it is said that it takes 21 days to break a habit. With that, it will take three weeks to reduce my anxiety of not watching the show. As in what am I going to do tonight? Not sure at this point. Without the forum at least to visit during my mini-vacations of not working on school stuff, that will take longer than three weeks to remove from my truly formed habit of clicking The 4400 link on my computer history. It has turned into an automatic operation. So if the forum is closed....geezzz, I will have to do damage to my computer history I am sure.
All kidding aside, since I joined this crazy world of the 4400 forum, I have so enjoyed the friendships and relationships developed on a personal level. Also, this forum has taught me so many lessons of functioning in the cyberworld because this is the only board that I post to or visit of any level. It is difficult to imagine going to any other forum and finding the nicest bunch of people that come here. Oh my...I gotta stop because I am going to get weepy-eyed just thinking about it. Where's the kleenex?

If they close this down, hope they give us notice because we will have to have a family gathering here to say goodbye or see ya' later down the road. I am stopping now!

I felt so much closer to my boys once I could talk to them on my level. I was never a "goo goo gah gah" mother. At 2 they had to clean their own rooms. At 4 I taught them how to make their own breakfast. By 9 they could wash, dry, and iron their clothes and cook at least 5 meals each. I remember a friend saying they never saw 2 and 4 year olds clean their room. I had a rule...whatever toy was on the floor after they went to bed, went in the trash...I did it. I can tell you ...it works, especially if it was a favorite one.

I am a lot like that, I make my 3 year old clean his room all the time I just wish I had conviction in what I was saying I try to be stern and I am but the next day I might give in... I know that is so wrong. I am impressed about the breakfast thing, now I know who to ask for tips....hey I have an idea maybe you could put your top 10 parenting tips on a T-shirt and add it to my order.

I started with instand oatmeal. I showed them how to use a messuring cup and the 2 minute button. It didn't take them long to learn. My youngest son makes the best dutch pancakes....he started making those at 12....omg I beg him to make those. and if you don't want to let them use the mircowave...get platic cereal bowls with lids.. set up the cereal for them at night in the bowl..in the a.m. all they have to do is pour the milk..and buy quarts or 1/2 gallons so they can handle them.

I know what you mean about the harder on us thing....I just barely exnaed the binky with my 3 yr. old beacause I didn't think I could bear him asking me what happened to his binky but I did it and he was over it in two days. I am so thankful my youngest has never liked them.

If USA does not renew the 4400 and I go crazy, I'm sumitting them my therapy bills.
