Isabelle and Kyle also became best friends-Isabelle said that Kyle was the only real friendship she ever had. When she was ordered by the Marked to kill Kyle, she tried to do it (the Marked were holding Richard as a hostage for Isabelle's cooperation) but she couldn't. She and Kyle held each other and talked about seeing the world. Then she said goodbye to him and went off to fight the Marked. They killed her, but not before she freed Jordan and Tom, who were being held prisoner. In the end, Tom talked to Kyle about how Kyle felt about Isabelle.
