No he's not, he's dead.

He died in the first episode of season 6.

Nope he's dead, just because one character is brought back from the dead doesn't mean they do it with all dead characters. wink.gif

I think walt is definitely dead... but that does not mean you can't bring him back. what about time travel? as that guy with from the future did to make contact with Johnny in order to prevent armageddon. on tv everything is possible :-)

I pretty much agree with amhfanpage statement. Although most would like to see Walt back, it's not going to happen.

Unfortunately, that program does not deal with ghosts. smile.gif

Walt coming back in John's present reality would only be plausible as a ghost via Alex Sinclair, or a past vision or flashback for John. Or in a memory of another character.

You don't see ghosts unless that person is dead. Alex saw him in "Exile" as a ghost sitting next to John in the car. Poor Walt has past on into the "great beyond".

Walt returning with helping of the time travel? And the all sixth season becoming void? Guys, don't weary me! laugh.gif This would be suchlike word for word like when Bobby returned in the Dallas. blink.gif

(Sorry for the bad english. I'm hungarian, the Dead Zone (Holtsáv) one of my favourite tv-series.)

Happy to have you and don't worry, you're not the only poster who is not a native English speaker. I agree about the infamous Boddy in the shower scene. Walt is dead. John does not see ghosts, Alex Sinclair sees ghosts-which is why John didn't see Walt in the truck in Exile but Alex did.

Let it go people. If Walt turns up in s7 (assuming there is a s7) he will be in John's visions or memories, not as a 'living' character. Anything more is a massive cheat to the fans and I don't think tptb are that desperate for plot material.

No Walt did die in the fire. Nicole who plays Sarah recently said at a Star Trek get
together that they had killed off her husband Walt on the show. Then she said she
couldn't say any more about TDZ. Johnny can see re-enactments of Walt's experiences
before he died if he touches something Walt touched, but like someone else said he can't
see his ghost. Alex did though. blink.gif

There is an only one thing about Walt's dead, that I'm sorry:

We probably never will find out: Did Walt know about Johnny and Sarah were lay each other? sad.gif

At the end of s3's "No Questions Asked" Walt tells Sarah:

"I don't care what happened. I don't. I just want to know if it's over."

It's never really clear if Walt knew for certain about the one night tryst between Sarah and John at the end of s1's "Destiny". Obviously he suspected something or he would not have asked the question.

Remember in the "Ascent/Descent" story, they showed Walt and Sarah walking in the rain? Walt is talking to Sarah about how suddenly she's watching football with them and the calls to Johnny Smith suddenly stop? I think he was wise to what happened then. Johnny and Sarah were acting a little weird. Walt even observed that John was starting call him and not talk to Sarah. The whole two-parter episode truly highlighted the relationship between Walt and John. If there was ever a man to deserve canonization, it's Walt Bannerman. smile.gif
