I think if USA realizes how eager fans are or how much buzz there is, they're more likely to renew it.
Maybe even include suggestions on how to improve the pace of the show with fewer stand alones that drive away potentially new viewers. I managed to get some folks to check it out but they were so disappointed in the early episodes that they didn't come back. The season should have begun with a quality episode like "The Marked", though the continuing story this year has been great.

PS: Having already owned Season 1, I just bought my brother Seasons 2 and 3 for his birthday. I own the DVDs already.
PPS I still haven't seen the final 2 episodes because I've had to stop writing reviews, but I'll be watching the series live in Canada as it begins next week.

I must be the only one who does not have a personal thread about a season 5 renewal.

Did we have to beg for the last 4 seasons? Or are we basing our opinion on the fact that they didn't tell us when the new season would air yet? (I know last yer they did.)

There is plenty of doubt in the air. The ratings have been going down (though not too much), USA Network does not seem to be as enthusiastic about the show as they used to be, the actors directly appealed to the fans to ask for support, and so on.

Sorry about not seeing your thread, but I haven't quite caught up with seeing my downloads for Episodes 12 and 13 and the show is just starting to air in Canada. I've been terrified to read too much of the boards for fear of spoilers. I also miss conversing with you folks and reading your comments but I've been so busy and -- again -- afraid of spoilers!

I remember that I made a emberassing action some time ago... When they decided to stop 4400 in Germany on a open network sender (not pay TV), I read that on a webside. I only saw that banner of that networ and thought it was the official website... Then I wrote several comments under diferent names... And with different E-mail adresses... Unfortunately they realized that it was all me and it wasn't the oficial website, but a fan forum... OMG
So I had to explain that i'm not a multiple personality, but just did several things at the same time and mixed up and everything.. Didn't want to tell that I was THAT stupid or blind...

I won't do anything until we hear that it is cancelled. The writers promised us 5 seasons. Is it hard to let this show continue for another season?

I agree with your post. I've written a note telling them how much I loved season 4, but I won't start anything with a campaign until we hear a definate answer.
