I taped it will have to rewatch, but no, i don't think so, but I will say, its much Brighter it seems.

Oh I hope so jyran... I hate that smokey, hazy look they've had.. I like the way the older episodes were shot.. I guess they were going for artistic value.. hmm.. maybe it cost too much to put all that haze in there.. there's always hope.

I re looked at it if you notice, when he is sitting on the floor, it looks like he has the beard. So maybe he starts off with it before he goes back to work.

I can't remember what the story was with Eames' hubby...how long ago was he killed and what were the circumstances?
Also, anyone remember the story with how her dad died?

Reading some of the story lines I am hopeful this should be a good season. Especially for G/E.
I wonder if Gorenwill be taking a back seat this season to possibally (god forbid)

from a recent interview.. well several really.. he seems content to stay.. and is very happy they moved to USA.. he spoke of being with the show for a long time.. at least that's what he said that day... you know actors..lol

I believe her parents are still living,because she talks about the buddy boy system in several eps. She also says she vents to her dad about stuff that happens on the job. Her mother had a stroke sometime in the past, but she evidently recovered. When she was talking to Ross, he assumed that she was divorced from Joe,and she corrected him and said that he was killed(that part of the scene was cut from the reruns). As for Terry Kinney, they are in fact divorced as of 2005. She mentions being a single mom in her latest interviews, even Vince mentioned it in one of his. They were both split from their spouses at one point in the series, "and he didn't know how Kate does it with two kids, including a very little baby." He is back with Carin, but he said that he and Erbe were like brother and sister, because they had been through a lot. This interview was around the time he had collapsed on the set and they split the series with Noth. Hope that helps! Lorry

I figured if I watched USA long enough I'd eventually see the preview. It aired during the first SVU of the evening. And now I'm absolutely a twitter. I can't wait until the fourth. I must admit, it upsets me to see them fighting. Goren and Eames, I mean. After TWAH I felt like my parents were getting a divorce. (Notably odd because my actual parents were never married.) This looks like it'll be an emotional roller-coaster, and not just for our favorite detectives. I, for one, will be wimpering on the edge of my seat. Please, somebody with better tech equipment than me get that preview up on youtube so I can over analize it. PLEASE.

IMO, maybe it has to do with the circumstances surrounding Eames' husband's death. Probably involving his then-partner.

Maybe Eames accidentially kills a cop. That is usually why they are in their dress-blues, for a fellow-officer's funeral.

Also, I doubt our Goren would have a messy kitchen, must be at a crime scene.

The kitchen scene, I find he had more stubble, and why would he be on the floor like that in plain clothes at a crime scene. lol, was the kitchen messy? Maybe I was too focused on VDO, or maybe my definition of messy is different than the person who wrote the discription, lol. I hate to speculate, also from reading the casting, I think when he threatens to tear the place apart, he was talking to the person who runs the evidence room. I will ask my son, if there is a way I can copy the preview and post it. I am not that talented.

Not for nothing, but, don't we need a few eps between Goren's tragedies and Eames' tragedies? I was hoping for some resolution to Goren's problems before Eames' personal baggage is unloaded. My head is already spinning from all this emotional bloodletting.

Okay so what stood out to me in the commercial, in the opening scene, my guess is they aren't welcome, in the back ground you can see a person point at them.

and of course GOREN driving instead of Eames.

And if i'm not mistaken (which i most likley am) the shirt she is wearing in the scene where she smells the blanket thing, is the same one she is wearing in Blindspot when she is kidnapped, maybe not, but it seems like it.

And of course lines like "This isn't one of your puzzles Bobby, this is my life!" make an impression on me!

No problem. I noticed Bobby driving too. I'm sure that has a story. And I thought that shirt looked like the one in Blindspot too. Weird. The excitement is building. I can't wait for the fourth.

Eames seems to be escorting someone. There is a brief glimpse of a gray sleeve.

I agree about the gold applianced kitched. Too funny.

Who is that bursting through the door in the black t-shirt? Is that Goren? He looks like a young VDO in the leather pant photos, but not VDO now.

Also I VDO's hair looks great. Very natural. I like it. He looks good. Rejuvinated. More alive, vocal, and awake so far, compared to some episodes last year.

I think that her black tank top is just a standard, worn under the outfit tank. She has worn those before when she is not wearng a jacket. Gotta show off those buff arms!

The more I see it, I think that she (they) must accidentially kill a cop, or take down a crooked cop and he somehow dies.

That's possible, but i've been looking things up, and i think what happens is her husbands old partner is shot, which my uncover more then one crooked cop, and of course the crooked cops wouldn't want them snooping around.

I don't think they shoot a cop, or if they do, not without a very good reason. Cause when they walk through the hospital Eames says "What happened?!?" meaning they most likely didn't shoot the person.

And in the beginning if they shot the guy, i know this is TV, but even then they wouldn't then let Goren and Eames investigate the case, it would be a conflict of interest.

I'm wondering if the commercial wasn't shown out of order, i mean they did that with Endgame, so i'm just wondering, but maybe the "what happened" in the hospital, comes at the beginning, and they discover later that he was a crooked cop, and so then the whole walking through the crowed at the beginning of the commercial happens.

Also possibly Eames saying "This isn't one of your puzzles Bobby, this is my life!" happens before the "you had the nerve to come here?" In fact, if we want to make it really soapy (cause i'm in the mood for soapyness tonight...) Goren and Eames get into a fight cause of that, and then he's waiting for her to call (the scene in his kitchen, cause she is pissed off at him) and then he goes to the funeral and since the guy who died was Eames' husband's partner, the people might except Eames and/or (because they might be Eames' old friend that we know she meets in this episode) Eames' has said she and Bobby had a fight or something, and now they are looking out for her.

Then later she finds out about people being a crooked cop and her and Bobby re investigate it or something.

Oh well i tried....

Regardless, is anyone else frantically awaiting the answers? 'Cause I don't care if it's soapy or not, this looks like the best season opener so far. I'm so unplugging my phone and not talking to anyone that night (except to maybe chat with my LOCI buddies after the show

I'm thinking that when he is on the floor in the kitchen , he is at his moms.. and that it is probably toward the beginning of the show.. this might be after she dies.. he goes there to gather her personal effects or something.. and he's overcome with all of it.. her death... the revalation of the question of who his father is etc... just a guess.

ok.. after further review, I have another observation: when they are in the property room (or wherever they are) and he says he'll tear the place up cause he's the whack job.. I'm thinking that after all his issues with his mom.. father.. brother.. etc, there may have been some rumors or remarks made about him(perhaps that he might be unstable) at major case.. and in this scene, perhaps they aren't satisfied with a request for something and he says that.. refering to these remarks about him.. you know.. Bobby being Bobby... again.. just a guess.

Yeah, I have to agree here. His mom was on medicare and he told his brother there were no finances or anything to line up. I don't think she had a house. My thought because of the retro appliances was perhaps... Eame's parents house? But even I think that's a stretch. Might be Boby's house. How do we know he lives in an apartment? Could be Eames house. We never saw the kitchen in Blind Spot.

yeah but by the look of Eames house her's was up todate, that was, to me, an out of date kitchen. It still could have been an apartment. Or if Goren bought an old house to fix up, who knows. Less than two weeks to find out.

I think what happens Eames goes to this party, cause in the hospital her hair is up. Someone gets shot, You hear someone say, I want your heavy Hitters on Board, ( Goren and Eames) Goren is at home still on Leave, we see the phone, he is on the floor, with his beard, he hasn't been shaving, he gets called in. The shooting leads to a crooked cop. The cop gets arrested, thats who Goren and Eames are leading down the path of cops. They show up for the funeral of the killed cop, and since they arrested another cop, thats why the guy said, you have your nerve showing up here, maybe thats the guy Goren thinks commited the crime. And it all leads back to Eames husband, or maybe Eames husband, knew about the crooked cops and got killed by the crooked cops.

Now lets see if I am close. lol.
