I want to start off by saying WOW!! This was a once in a life time experience.

I had been scared about driving in Nashville all day,but we made it there safe and sound. We fount where the handicap parked, but sis in law couldnt get on the shuttle,so i had to push her around to the front.By the time we got around there my COPD was kicking in pretty good. One of the ushers took her in for me. So i waited out front for Ms. Becky and Sandy. I gave Sandy the other pass because sis in law couldnt get around to the back and my 3 year old grand daughter was out of town and no one else in my family liked country.

Well Ms.Becky and Sandy and me meet up and started walking to the back of the Opry and Ms.Becky was telling us how she use to work at Opryland. I tryed to be sneaky and get out of her how many times Chris had been there. She said she really didnt know but they was gonna find out for a bonus quetion one day.I knew this thats why i asked.
We finally got to the back and Ms.Becky showed us all around backstage , Chris grand parents was sitting there waiting and we got to meet them. Then we got to see the dressing rooms. We seen alot of different picture of people that had played at the Opry. Then she took us to where to the backstage. It was amazing to look out over the audience and see it all. We stayed back there and watched quite a few people sing.I think I like Mandy Barnett the best. When she came off stage i got my picture took with her. Then Ms.Becky came and got us and as we walked through the green room Matt Mason was there. He place #4 in the same season of Nashville Star that Chris won.I got my pic took with him too.Even tho i didnt know who he was because when Chris was on Nasville star,he is the only one i remembered.
When we finally turned the corner there was Chris standing there and the smile on my face got so big. I got a hugg 1st thing of course. His grand father was playing on the quiter, and his band was there and his dad. I had made a poster for Chris Grand father to try to get him to sing with Chris and put pretty please and then Beggan to you. Maybe one day he will. Then the other side i put Young Country heart Chris Young and i didnt put glitter because i knew Chris hated it.Well i fount this card that said about giving and it fit Chris to a T so i got it to give him, guess what it had glitter on it,I wasnt thinking. I gave him a quarter from a dear friend saying call someone that cares and her number. He smiled and showed it to his mom. Then he signed all my stuff i brought with me.Got a feww more huggs from him and then Ms.Becky took me and Sandy out front to see Chris sing. When they announced Chris ,We went down to the front of the stage and sat on the floor to take pic and listen. That was a great feeling getting to be that close to hearing him sing at the Opry. He rocked the house.
When the show was over me and Sandy said goodbye ,She had some street member stuff to do. It took me a long time to find my sis in law so i handed out some strret team card to people while i was looking for her. Alot of people was talking about what a great voice he had.
Well i knew he was gonna sing a special song at the 2nd show so i took the long way home and got to hear him sing the Marty Robbins song. Wow wished i could of been there for that one. Sounded like he brought down the house on that one.
Thank you Chris ,Ms.Becky for a Memory i will carry with me always.
