Who WERE the marked? They still are, they are 10 agents sent from the future to stop the 4400. They can not communicate with the future. Only 1 has been destroyed the one inside Tom, they are entities that can be injected into people and then later they can controll them, they can be passed to other people, but I think they have to die(the person) for them to take them out and put them in someone else.
How can we make sure that Tom isn't really still marked deep down inside and that it won't resurface? All we know is that Rebecca said to Tom that he was unmarked and that no one before was able to do it, she needed to know how. My guess is, she should know.

That Jordan is the Messiah, Shawn the shaman and Kyle is the channel that knows where to go because he can communicate with the future, if everyone becomes P+ Heaven would come to earth. That was said this season when they were reading and translating the book.

Because if you go to the past you can change the future and they wanted everything to stay the same, when you change things a new future is born so there is no way to know until it happen in the past. I'm not sure I follow you...but if you are talking about Diana Skorius (sp?) - the NTAC agent...that is her adopted mom. She adopted her in season 1...Maia was the first abducted...from the 1960s I think...so her biological parents are long gone

Yep --- Sean and Kyle are cousins. That makes Danny Ferrel his cousin and Susan (I think that was her name) Ferrel his aunt. I'm not sure how caught up you are on the show but Tom Baldwin is Kyle's father.

Oh boy....the marked were a plot introduced this season (4). They are 10 people from the future without abilities that oppose the 4400. We'll they aren't really people from the future (PFTF) --- more like body snatchers....a person is marked and they become inhabited by this future person. The marked have inhabited 10 very influential people...including Tom, but he was cured. The Marked are only known by a mole behind their ear. Matthew Ross from Season 2 (or 3?) was one of the first marked...Isabelle killed him. (Must see episode from season 4 to understand the Marked)

They "burned" the nanoites out of him with poloium. Of course with sci-fi, anything is possible, but I think it is safe to assume good Tom is back. Also...he showed emotion when told Izzy was going to kill Kyle...marked Tom wouldn't have done that.

He didn't take the shot. Don't know why he wasn't effected by the promicin outbreak...or was he? I'm sure we will find out if there is a season 5

There is some book and white light cult....not really sure where it came from. The book was decoded by Isabelle...it lists 200 people that must take the shot before "Heaven on Earth" is achieved. The last name is his dad (Tom Baldwin)
