I had to watch it over and over just to raise my hands up in a goal formation. I have missed Pluto ice breakers. There was a jackal reference in Lights... Camera... Homocido.

Which made me do the same goal formation.

I just watched the seen where shawn kisses juliet and noticed when he does it at the end juliet gets out a stop watch and unloades her gun then loads it. I forgot what other episode she did that in .

She did that earlier in the same episode... and they don't "kiss" per se. I was glad actually, I think the close talking thing was a much better alternative, got to keep that possible chance for a first kiss out there, can't have it in only the second season!

yeah that pluto joke in black and tan was great!

Yesterday, I actually happened to watch From the Earth to the Starbucks and Black and Tan back to back. I laughed so hard when I heard Gus say that for the second time!!

There are two other inside jokes that I noticed. I forgot which episode, but Juliet and Lassiter are investigating a case when they go to a laundromat where the woman has a picture of Shawn as a soap opera star from the episode "Ligghts, Camera . . . Homicido!" Juliet and Lassiter groan when they see the picture and then the woman tells them that she wants to have Shawn's babies.

In another episode (again, I can't remember which one) Shawn says that his father is going to watch The Mentalist. It is not exactly an "inside Psych" joke, but it is an "inside TV" joke.

Was the fridge in Tuesday the 17th the same fridge that had the dead body fall out of it in the museum episode ( is it Shawn (and Gus) of the dead? - I'm drawing a blank on the episode name).

Here's another one- on the episode Dis-lodged in the lodge there are paintings of the past presidents (or members- I don't remember which) and there is a painting of Steve Franks and Andy Berman! There might have been other writers, but I didn't recognize them. smile.gif

Wow, I never realized how many inside jokes there were! There's only two that I can think of. One is the "stealthy like a jackal" thing which they've brought up in a bunch of episodes. The other is in "Talk Derby to Me" when Shawn and Gus are in Zilk's for the second time, Shawn mentions the Employee of the Month sign. In the commentary for that episode, they mention that that was a shout out to that person, whatever her name was (I'm blanking out right now), but that wasn't really her picture.

A fun thread indeed rolleyes.gif

i've got 2:

1. In "He loves me, he loves me not...", shawn found out that henry takes bubble baths (and that it foams more laugh.gif ) and then in "Down the stretch..." shawn said something like "just what my dad always says, real men take baths"
2. In 65 million years off shawn said that as a rule they don’t break and enter and then gus makes references to their previous cases when they did break and enter: 2400 motel (woman seeking dead husband), hotel dela cruz (speak now or forever hold your peace), and spellmaster’s box (spelling bee)

This is kinda turning into a references to other episodes thread and an inside jokes thread.

Oh and I noticed today that in "Any Given Friday Night" when they go to the laundromat place with the woman who has the picture of Chad, right next to it you can see Any Berman's picture, too.

So maybe this doesn't qualify, or maybe it's been posted before (I didn't see it, i just skimmed the previous pages), but it looks as if the tie that Lassiter gets from "the tie supply" in "Black and Tan: A Crime of Fashion" is the same exact (or at least identical patterned) tie that Gus gives up to the defense attorney in "Cloudy...With a Chance of Murder". Correct me if I'm wrong!

Also psych is the greatest show ever, but I think that's just given information.

I noticed that too! I also think that the outfit Gus wears at the wedding in "Speak Now Or Forever Hold Your Piece" is the same one he's wearing in "Ghosts" when he meets Mr. Haversham in his office.

ROFL... I totally missed that so I grabbed my s1 dvd set as soon as I got home...LOL... it's totally there but that's not all

if you look at the ad a little bit below on the right,

VINTAGE GOLD POCKET WATCH

with the inscription "Don't lose... Henry"

watch has sentimental value

Reward: Free psychic reading

laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif Shawn lost it...LOL!!!

LMAO. That's hilarious! And I bet that the person who finds the watch and hands it in has a sarcastic remark like, "Well, if you're psychic, then why couldn't you find the watch yourself?"

i want to know what the 3 hole puncher is all about. (talk derby to me)
MarBear28
In one episode Shawn is wearing the shirt Gus wore in Spellingg Bee. If you've watched the commentary, which I'm sure you all have, they talk about how Shawn and Gus are wearing the same shirt but Shawn is wearing a blue one and Gus is wearing purple. I can't remember the episode, but I think it's the second season Shawn is wearing the purple one.

Slight spoiler for "Murder?...Anyone?...Anyone?...Bueller?" but not really. Like..at all. But just to be safe.

On the incident report that Juliet finds for Shawn, the victim listed is Michael McMurray, the director of the ep and director of photography.

They explain it in the commentary for "Talk Derby To Me", but they're basically making fun of Tim Meltregger. (Other people who know the story, please correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't seen that commentary in a while.) Tim was fighting really hard to keep the "three-hole puncher" line in the scene where Shawn and Gus are in the car just before they follow Westwood around, and everyone thought it was funny that he wanted to keep it in that badly. So now they laugh hysterically when someone mentions a three-hole puncher because they're laughing at Tim.

Yeah, Tim kept insisting that "Three-hole puncher" is *really* funny, but no one else seemed to think it was as funny as he did (there may also have been some dispute over which was funnier, 3-hole punch or 3-hole punchER)...

Because Tim thinks it's so hilariously funny... they started to add hysterical (forced) laughter after every time someone said it to make fun of Tim.

Ok, here's 2 more
1.in Tuesday the 17th Aka tikihama a creepy camp song plays at the start of the eppisode. What people don't know is that this is the song Tankanna sang for Shawns dad in Bounty Hunters

2.this is really deep
In 65 million years off Shawn makes a reference to Holes when they find the holes on the farmers land. Gus can't figure out the movie though like he usually can. What's funny is Dulè Hill was in the movie Holes.

Hope u enjoyed these

Well there were a ton last night! I was watching with my roommate who I am forcing to watch every Psych episode ever created. Unfortunately, we're only halfway through Season 3......so I basically had to yell at her to leave the room so that the endings of Any Given Friday and Six Feet wouldn't be spoiled for her. They were nice inside jokes for me though. smile.gif

And also the sample case. Nice to see it come back AND have it acknowledged that it's been missing for a very long time.

And three hole puncher is always fun. Even if it's not our inside joke. It's still a Psych related inside joke and it's still hilarious every time.

I started watching the show just to see what it was about and I love it!! I always laugh every episode. So I was looking through this forum and noticed the holes bit. I found this video where the link works. Dulé Hall who plays Gus was in Holes. The clip shows what part in holes.
