That's great to here that USA is doing so much for CI! Hopefully this will mean a 8th season!

heard on other board, there is new commercial with New Goren and Eames with Goren trying to peel off USA Logo off screen can't wait to see it, He ask Eames whats that, she thinks he is refering to a paper bag, she says severed Head, no he says that, she says USA logo, and he trys to peel it off, can't wait to see it myself.

Edit: Oh just saw it, its a severed Hand, in an evidence bag, oooo he is sooo cute,( vdo not the hand) Erbe looks great. Oh my, now I really can't wait for the new season.

sorry, just wanted to say that i just saw the one where monk welcomes them to USA (it's on the CI page now) it's cute! To bad there is no new season footage, do you think during the marathons they will show new stuff? If so can some one tell me about it after?

If not, hey it's still good they are doing so much for CI!

People can program Tivo's to get rid of commercials, to bad they can't program them to tape ONLY commercials!

Don't worry GF, your not crazy, well not more then the rest of us, which i'm sure isn't much of a comfort... But on the bright side, if you see it, it will all be worth it!

With as bad as television is lately, I almost wish that was possible! I didn't get to see that one, but I did see the new one of the crew moving the body out under Goren and Eames' noses. So, after watching Psych, I find it here on the board on YouTube! I can't win!

Thanks for keeping us all up-to-date with the latest LOCI rerun info Bubba!

It looks like USA is pulling out all the stops to make the show welcome and showcased in its new cable home. The marathons on 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, and 10/25 are all on Thursdays so USA is really giving LOCI a push with lots of opportunities for promos to let existing fans and potential new fans know when and where the new Season 7 episodes will air FIRST!

Others might protest, but it's clear to me that the USA should be designated the official LOCI message board since it's the new home for the show's new episodes!

i juast wanted to share that i just saw a new commercial with logan interrogating a witness or a suspect and they start moving everything and at the end the person asks loganif he can leave and logan tells him to get outa here. i just thought io would share with you all

As of this date, 09/11/07, there are posts about USA Promos on at least 4 different threads (October Marathon, Season 6 Marathon, The Old Days are Over, and Ads on USA). Though a couple of these have been more-or-less terminated, I think we can all agree that we need a judgment as to what Thread may be considered "the correct" thread for the many different Promos on USA.

I think its a great way to review/catch up on things! Have to go to a special dinner with my husband on Sunday evening ( he is being honored) but will watch until i have to get in the car, hopefully they will repeat after midnite, so i can w atch what i missed

What is that, 14 episodes? A usual TV series season is 22.

Did they really only do 14 last year or is USA not showing them all in this marathon?

Thats great to know, My new husband usually cooks and serves for locals nearby who don't have anywhere else togo on Thanksgiving and I am supposed to go with him this year, But there will be a Tv near or in the kitchen, so i won't miss much!! since joining the board i notice more incidentals on the show than before, really has opened my eyes! Great...so I can do Chinese food and CI on T-Day (since I'm not into turkey and couldn't possibly finish just a turkey breast much less a whole bird without getting tired of turkey or it going bad, I either cook if I'm feeling ambitious or order in if I'm being lazy Chinese food lol!). I appreciate the merciful act of being delivered from too much turkey, tryptophan (the stuff in turkey that makes you sleepy) and tackling (I am *not* a football fan). Thanks USA!

Also I am hoping for CI Season 4 DVDs in Region 1 (that's North America) for Christmas 2007. If the powers that be stop in here and read this stuff we fans post would like to be my secret Santa, please use your influence with Universal Home Video to make this happen. I promise to try and be a good girl. I'd also like to put in my requests for CI Season 5 and 6 DVDs in Region 1, but please if you can release them in order (4 first, then 5 and then 6)

Finally can the powers that be fix their 'entire season' promos for future 'entire season' marathons? I noticed that what USA did was to split CI Season 6 over 2 consecutive weekends. That was smart since a season is usually 22 1 hour episodes and since Season 6 is a pretty emotional character driven ride to take in in only 48 hours of time. But the promos seemed to say *every* episode from the sixth season was to be aired in the space of 2 consecutive days (which didn't happen). So you might want to correct that for future marathons.

CI. Your the best Bubba.. I noticed someone said they were going to show ALL of the season 6, which they didn't. Did they not include the ones with "carver and sheridon"? maybe that was why. Also I wish they would have one show just with goren/eames and let logan/partner have ther own. Not sure CI would do so good like that though. Does anyone know if any of the DVDs have seasons with only Goren-VDO/and Eames??? Seems like when CI first started it was just Bobby and Alex.Yes/no?? Just wondering before i spend my money.Thanks for any info you can give me. Oceanheart

The Marathon was only Season 6. Deakins (Jaimie Sheridan) and Carver (Courtney Vance) left the series at the end of Season 5; Captain Deakins was replaced by Captain Ross in the first episode of Season 6 (Blind Spot). Jaime Sheridan left the series because he was tired of commuting regularly between the NY Sets of LOCI and his home and family in Southern California; and, it appears that Courtney Vance's departure was for a similar reason.

In Seasons 1-4, all episodes were Bobby/Alex & Deakins/Carver. In Nov, 2004, VDO fainted from exhaustion, and said he was going to leave the series. In order to keep him with LOCI and the series on the air, another team of Detectives was introduced (Logan & Partner) to alternate weekly episodes with the Goren/Eames team. This reduced VDO/Erbe's workload to 11 of 22 episodes a season.

As for the availability of DVD's. Seasons 1, 2, & 3 have been available on DVD's for some time now. (I bought mine off the shelf of a local Video Store; but, they were also on the shelf at Borders Books and Barnes & Noble last Spring.) A month or so ago, Amazon announced it had all of Season 5, 6 & 7 (after first airing, I assume) Episodes available for Download (not on DVDs).

As yet, no one can figure out what they have done with Season 4.

I was looking ahead on the USA program schedule, and I found that the Thursday CI Marathons stop after Thanksgiving. Actually, thanksgiving is an SVU/CI marathon day.

It kind of makes me sad, actually.
