As a tennis TV viewer for 25+ yrs (yes, 'before' cable TV), I gotta say CBS, this past wk. has has THE WORST COVERAGE I've ever seen of the US Open. USA is a little more serious w/ somewhat fewer commercials and more tennis viewing than feature garbage for us serious fans.

However: WHY DOESN'T USA (OR CBS OR ANY OTHER NETWORK) COVER WHAT'S GOING ON LIVE ANY GIVEN DAY BETWEEN 6 AND 7 PM EST? CBS obviously goes off the air @ 6; USA doesn't pick up till 7: we can't watch the Davidenko/Lee match going on right this minute (9/3, 6 pm) 'cause neither of you bought the rights to cover it?

I agree. I don't really understand the hour gap. Because on some days if a match they're covering goes longer USA will continue on calling it "bonus coverage."

They're already covering most of the day; why not pick up that one hour anyway before CBS takes over for the evening matches.
