Dammit to hell! Courier, take a breath. Moya and Kohlschreiber are playing their hearts out, play after play, and you and diarrhea mouthed Ted hsve to talk about synthetic racquet strings. Why doesn't anyone at USA or CBS read the hundreds of complaints about the announcers and do something about it? Tournament after tournament...slam after slam the same people ruin the matches year after year. With today's technology where we can get subtitles or NO subtitles, why can't there be a feed with crowd noises WITHOUT an announcer? All day long, I don't thing Mary Carillo stopped talking for ten seconds. She and Patrick ruined the whole day. IT SHOULD BE A RULE...NO TALKING BY ANYONE WHILE A BALL IS IN PLAY! No one gives a damn about what anyone of them says. If the networks want to use ONE announcer in the booth with no conversation...just to comment when the point is over, that would be fantastic! BUT NO! Year after year Tracey, Cliff, Mary, Patrick, John,, and especially dumb TED, spoil EVERY TENNIS COVERAGE> There MUST be some way to stop them, short of hiring a suicide booth bomber or sniper.

OMG! My sentiments exactly! I could NOT believe Courier would not shut up during that amazing point. At least be quiet during the slow motion replay. I don’t give a damn about string technology. I want to watch these amazing athletes play their hearts out without having to put the mute button on!

I laughed so hard at the title of your posting. And of course everything you had to say about his commentary was spot on. It seems like the better the match the more they have to talk. And say nothing. I liked the idea of having them broadcast matches where you didn't have to have any announcers or commentary. Wouldn't that be sweet.

I hope he would have his microphone on so it could be broadcast.

But, true to form, Jim would talk incessently about anything but the ' subject' at hand.
